Chapter 5 Five

"Bloody hell"

Anna was now in front of Axel's office but was too afraid to knock.

"You can do this,you can do this"she chanted softly

"Okay there I go'' she muttered before knocking thrice on the door.

"Who?" A voice from inside answer probably Axel

"Anna, sir, it's Anna." She answered hurriedly

"Come in"

Pushing the door slightly she walked into the office quietly and gently and looked up at Axel who was now staring at her while flipping his pen.

"Why are you here"Axel's cold voice came to a sharply

Anna gulped and started "I have something to report to you sir"

"Go on"

" It's about Larry" she could see the interest spark in his eyes so she coutinued.

"I followed Adam to pick him today and...." Anna told Axel every piece of information leaving nothing

"Where is Larry now?"

" He is sleeping now sir" Anna answered bowing slightly as usual

"Okay, your dismissed"

"Yes sir, thank you sir" Anna said as Axel watched her retreating form.

Axel's anger could be seen my anyone looking at him.

How dare does low life's bully his son. He was going to make them pay.

Axel came downstairs the next morning to see Anna and Larry giggling and laughing heartingly but stopped immediately they saw him, making him wonder what they were talking about.

"Good morning daddy" Larry said with a wide grin on his face

"Good morning sir"Anna greeted. Axel ignored her turning towards his son

"Hey, big boy how are you today?"Axel asks matching Larry's grin

"Am okay daddy"

"That's my boy, what do you want to do tomorrow?"

Axel had decided to spent more time with his son. Last night after making sure that Larry's old school was brought down, he decided to spend more time with his son no matter how impossible his schedule was.

"Huh, does daddy not have work?" Larry asked his mouth full of food and Anna wiping his cheeks softly

"Of course not, daddy's free tomorrow. So what do you think were do you want to go"

"Hmmmm... The mall and the playground" Larry answered joyfully, his grin wider.

"The mall and playground it is"Axel smiled to patting his son's back

"But, daddy I want Nana to come to" Larry said making Axel smile change to a frown.

"Really'' his frown getting bigger

"Yes daddy" Larry was smiling widely now

" Okay, Anna get Larry's things ready we are going for a family bonding tomorrow". Axel stood up leaving the dinning area

"Yes sir" Anna mumbled

Axel walked to his car outside, thinking of Larry and Anna's closeness, well it was a good thing because Larry hated all his previous nannies, Anna had stayed the longest.

Thinking through out his ride to the office about Anna and Larry he didn't know he had reached his office till his driver notified him.

"Sir you have a parcel" Axel's secretary Olivia tells Axel through the intercom

"Bring it in"

Olivia walks into the office briskly dropping the parcel on the desk and per Axel's order and turned around leaving the office

Axel reached for the parcel, looked at the name, seeing the name of his ex wife on it with her beautiful writing he tore it open just to see a formal paper with the writing **PETITION FOR DIVORCE** inscribed on it, with a little piece of paper saying:

_Pls sign it

Love: ex wife❤️_

A loud noise of things crashing was heard from Axel's office.

Axel was scattering this office screaming on top of his voice

"Nooooo,no, never" Axel's deep voice boomed around his office

Olivia had come in hurriedly to see her boss who was always composed looking disheveled and his hair a complete mess.

"Oh my god, Sir what is wrong sir?" Olivia asked but not going close to him.

"Call my lawyer now" Axel said looking at Olivia with afar away look in his eyes.

"Yes sir, right away" Olivia answered leaving the office but not without one last look towards her boss

Axel was left in his office, he couldn't believe it. Catherine had left him and his son without a good bye and coming back just to file a divorce.

Never, he was not going to sign them, Larry needed her, he needed her to. And he was going to do anything within his power to make sure she comes back to them. Axel's thoughts were distrubted by Olivia voice through the intercom saying

"Sir, your lawyer is on his way"

"Okay" Axel responsed

Anna and Larry was preparing for the family bonding time. Anna was worried Axel didn't want her to go with them, because her demeanor had changed when Larry had mentioned her going with them.

"Baby, do I have really have to go with you and daddy tomorrow" Anna asked Larry who was playing with his Lego set

"Hmmm, of course Nana" Larry said looking up at Anna

"But...you know it is a family thing and you and your daddy need to spend time together alone you know"

"Hmmmm...no I want to go with me" Larry responded this time not looking away from his toys.

"But" Anna tried to make her suggestion more clear

"But what Nana" Larry looked up this time, his eyes glassy and teary.

"Okay, I will go with you then" she answered sighing in defeat.

"Hmmm" Larry hummed his answer not looking up from his toys.

Anna stood up leaving Larry's room and headed towards the kitchen.

"Hey, Adam, you are back"

"Yes, sir doesn't need me there so here I am"

"Ummmm....I don't know if am thinking too much about it but do you think sir hates me" she askes looking worried.

But Adam just laughs and tell her to stop overthinking saying

"Nah, he doesn't hate you, that's how he is, normally, you know since his wife left, so don't think about it too much."

Well Adam was right she was here for Larry not Axel she thought, before getting ready to cook dinner.

It's was Sunday morning,the family bonding day. Anna and Larry were giggling loudly dressing Larry up and telling each other stories while going downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning daddy" Larry said joyfully sitting down on his chair.

"Good morning sir"

"You look happy Larry" Axel said ignoring Anna's greetings

"Of course daddy"

Breakfast was rushed as Larry kept on eating hurriedly till Axel stopped him, thankfully because he would have choked at that rate.

After breakfast they were on the way to the church, to say a few prayers before going to the mall.

At the mall, Axel and Larry had alighted the car. Anna's struggle to come down the car was stopped by Axel when he said "Where are you going"

"Hmm sir"

"This is a family bonding remember"

"Sorry sir I will just stay here"

"Better I don't even know why you're here"

With this Axel turned around leaving Anna in the car.

This is going to be a long day, Anna thought.
