Chapter 4 Four

Larry and Anna's relationship since the red spot event was getting better. He no longer glares at her or refuses to eat, but he always refuses to tell her the reasons for his fights at school no matter how Anna trys to get it out of him. Axel and Larry spent less time together, sometimes the boy only saw his father thrice a week, Anna had heard he had a very serious project for their top client or something like that, she heard that from Adam.

It was another day to take care of Larry again, Larry had woken up very early today and he took his bath himself, Anna was trying to teach him to take care of himself even if she was there.

"Nana"Larry called her

" Yes dear"Anna answered while helping him wear his socks

"It has been a while since you made me ice cream the only ones I take are they ones Uncle Adam buys me" He said looking at her with his cute big eyes

"Hmm, so what do you want me to do"Anna answered teasing him

"Make me some please"

"Why"Anna continued to tease him

"Because I like your ice cream more and you make the best ice cream in the world"Larry said trying to coax Anna.

"No big boy, your charm is not going to work on me, this time boy"

"Pretty pleasee" he continued to beg Anna batting his eyelashes

"Okay,okay I will make ice cream for you......"Anna stated

"Yaeyy"

"But"

"Butt?, but what?"

"You and I will make it together what do you think?

"Hmmmm"Larry acted as if he was thinking before shouting a big "Yaey"

And with that the both laughed happily as the opened the door to go get breakfast for Larry

After Larry went to school, Anna began with her house work and as usual completely ignoring Axel's room, study and office since he had a come - in maid that cleaned that part of the house

She took care of Larry's laundry before proceeding to get the supplies for the ice cream.

By the time she was through with getting the supplies for the ice cream ready, it was time to get Larry from school, she decided to join Adam.

Anna decided to get Larry herself and made her way to the parent's waiting area but Larry was not yet out, she waited for at least 20 minutes and decided to go into the school and look for him.

She started with his class but didn't see any one there she decided to go ask his teacher

"Hi"

"Hello madam how can I help you"

"I am looking for Larry Don from your class. Have you seen him anywhere"Anna asked politely

"Who are you to him exactly madam"

"I am his nanny"

"Okay ma, but, Larry left immediately after dismissal ma."

" I didn't see him and I was here before dismissal" Anna was now really concerned. She ran outside and saw Adam by the car

"Where is Larry ?"

"I don't know, his teacher said he left the class immediately after dismissal, but I can't see him. We have to go look for him or I don't know how I will live knowing a boy under my care is gone" Anna rambled, shaking from her head to her toes

"Calm down we will find him"

Anna and Adam ran into the school searching every where to find Larry.

Anna decided to check back school, her eyes caught a group of students laughing and cornering someone. She decided to help the victim because it seemed like bullying to her

"Hey, what happened there?"

The big kids quieted down and tried to run away

"Hey where are you guys going?"

Anna Wal to the corner and saw Larry crying with his kness close to his chest crying.

"Baby,my baby" Anna stared at those kids thinking about killing them all. How dare they.

"Nana, is that you"Larry voice was shaky

"Yes it's me, stand up am there."

Larry's hands had red spots all over, that really explained a lot to Anna. She carried him out of that dark place and found Adam looking for them

"Where is that teacher?!!!"Anna shouted

"I am sorry madam...." The school's head started apologizing

"Sorry!!!, a child under your care gets builled everyday and you guys do not seem to notice or better still care, infact you know what I will call his father now and tell him everything and you know what else will happen he is going to destroy this school's reputation" Anna screamed clutching Larry close to her chest, Adam right behind her

"I'm really sorry Madam, this won't repeat ever again, the school apologizes"

"There is no need apologizing, Adam let's go" She said leaving the school Larry still clutched close to her chest.

"Miriam, your fired." The school's head said immediately Anna left.

Adam had never seen such fierceness before not even on those disgusting ladies the had seen Axel with who just concerned themselves with crazy makeup and batting their fake lashes every little chance they get

"Am sorry baby"

Larry cried on Anna's lap till they reached home.

Adam carried Larry into the house with Anna directly behind them holding Larry's hands, the boy's eyes were red and puffy because he had cried through out the ride back home.

"Do you think he will be alright"Anna asked Adam as the walked down the stairs to the kitchen, they had left Larry to have a nap.

"Yes, he would, his a strong kid you know, he didn't cry when his mom left him in that park and ran off with some guy"

"Yeah I know he will get better"

They both sat in comfortable silence for a while before Anna spoke up.

"I think I should make Larry the ice cream I promised him" She said standing up and walking towards the counter

"Yes, you should while I go back to the office"

"Can I ask you for something?"

"Yes, what is it?"

"Ummm.. can you not tell Sir Axel what happened to Larry, I would like to tell him myself please"

"Ohh, okay if you say so but do tell him, I don't want us to get on trouble, you know if he hears it from others, there will be trouble" He said walking out of the kitchen.

Anna spent her time making the ice cream while thinking of Larry's condition.

Anna was in Larry's room with the ice cream in tow she also added cookies too, she wanted to bring him food but remembered that Larry was not the food type.

"Hi baby"

Anna dropped the snacks on the table and start on Larry's bed before proceeding to pat his head gently

"Are you okay dear" She asked him, while helping him sit up gently

"Nana"

"Yes dear"

"Do you want know what those seniors did to me?"

"Don't force yourself dear, you can tell me anytime"Anna answered looking at him with so much care

"But I want to tell you"

" Okay go ahead dear. What did they do to you?"

" Do you remember those bruises I had then?"

"Yes I do"

"They were the ones who did those, they would push me down and...and...call me a sissy and they...(sniffles)..and tell me my mother left me because I was a sissy and....and that my mom hated me"

By the time Larry was through Anna was already crying and holding Larry close to her.

"Don't mind them, your not a sissy and your mom doesn't hate you. She didn't leave you, believe me she loves you and I love you to baby, don't mind them" Anna said rocking him and patting his back.

They both stayed that way until Larry's stomach rumbled. They broke the hug laughing and Anna brought Larry his ice cream even though it had melted a little and the cookies were cold from the effect of the cold ice cream

Anna was glad Larry was okay now, he was back to his old self. "Oh children" she thought to herself as she looked at Larry dip the his cookies into his ice cream before eating them. She could remember the first time she saw him do that, she was surprised and not to lie at bit disgusted but seeing him do that same thing now made her really happened, how times had changed. She decided to see Axel when he came back and tell him what happened today, but now the problem was talking to him because seeing him only gave her cold feet talk more of talking to him.

But she was going to try, this builling issue must stop and she was going to see to it, even if she had no idea how to.
