Chapter 4 My Crush and My worst nightmare

I woke up early the next day, came down from my bed and stretched myself. I stripped my Nightie from my body and wrapped a towel around my small waist. Well not too small, It is my hip that makes it look like that. I walked into the bathroom to take my bath. After I am through bathing, I came out, cleaned my body, dried my hair with my hair dryer, combed it and packed it. I creamed my body, putting on a male outfit and wore a face cap to match. I walked out of my room and I was surprised that my Mummy's have already prepared breakfast.

Maybe it is because I am having an exam today and I have to go early. I walked to the dining table and greeted her.

"Good morning Mum" I greeted.

"Morning daughc(Daughter).. How is your sleep?" She replied and asked looking at me.

"It is splendid," I said.

"Okay.... And why are you dressed like a boy?" She asked.

"I just feel like," I replied.

"Seriously, you can't be kidding me Mara. Just tell me the reason" she said.

"No reason," I replied.

"You know I did not give birth to a boy but I gave birth to a girl but I am starting to wonder if my daughter is a boy" She said and I chuckled.

We sat down, said a short prayer and started eating. When I was done, I picked up my handbag and stood up.

"Let me drop you off at KJ college" My Mummy said and I was happy.

After the dishes had been taken back to the kitchen, we walked out of the house into Mummy's car, a Camry XLE. She drove out of the compound and ran on the road at full speed to KJ college and within 7 minute we were there. She drove in and packed her car at a reserved parking space for those that will be coming for the Entrance Examination. I came down from the car and my Mummy gave me some cash telling me that I should use it to take a cab home. I started walking to the main building as I do not know where I'm going, so I asked someone who is also walking and she told me that I should go to the left side and that I will meet a security man at another gate. And he will direct me to the CBE center that they are using for the entrance examination. I walked to the way she described for me and just as I made a few steps I collided with a girl and she uttered, "Hey new girl, learn to walk with your eyes" She said rudely and walked away with her gangs.

"Avoid that girl, Elena," A guy walking past me said.

"What!, for real now, who the hell is she that I should avoid her" I uttered and walked on. I got to the gate and truth to her words, I met a security Man at a small gate and I asked him a question.

"Excuse me sir, I am going to the CBE center for the entrance examination," I said.

"Pass through the gate and you will see different CBE centers" He directed.

I walked through the gate and past some trees before I found some CBE centers. I walked to the one I saw people there and asked someone.

"Hi," I said.

"Hi," She replied.

"Please is this the place they are using for the computer based examination?" I asked.

"Yes... You are also here for the entrance examination?" She replied and asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Common, get into the line there is no time" She said and I concurred by joining the line.

After some time we were allowed in. Oh I forgot to tell you, I printed a paper out on my way to the school. I walked in after they checked my paper. I looked for my seat number and I found it. I sat on it and started the examination. After I had finished the CBE, I waited for that girl outside so that we could both walk out of the school together. Minutes later she came outside and walked to me when she sighted me looking at her.

"It is obvious you are waiting for me or are you waiting for someone else?" She said and finally asked.

"No, I am waiting for you," I replied.

"So how is your examination?" She asked.

"Great and yours?" I asked.

"Wonderful," She replied.

"I am Mara Smith" I said introducing myself.

"I am Emily Jameson" She introduced herself and we shook hands.

"Nice meeting you" I said.

"Same here" She also said.

"So are you going home now?" She asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Shall we?" She finally asked.

"We shall," I replied.

We worked outside together passing through the security gate and walking into the big compound. On our way to the main gate. I saw a very cute and handsome guy and I was lost in his cuteness. Suddenly, I started walking to him leaving Emily behind but was stopped by the bodyguards around him. Emily tried in her best way to stop me from going to him, calling me back but I paid a deaf ear to her.

Everybody that's present around gasped out loud.

"What the hell, this girl doesn't know who she is dealing with?".

"She is as good as dead".

"She is fool to have approach Damon like that"

"Yeah, I agree She doesn't have any value for her life".

"Oh my God, she is a stupid girl"

"I feel like killing her by myself".

"She is nothing but a nincompoop"

I ignored all their bad comments and pushed my way through the security guards coming face to face with him.

"Hi, I am Mara," I said, stretching my hand out for a handshake.

He stared directly into my face surprisingly and passed beside me going his way with his security men leaving my hand hanging in the air and I was embarrassed.

"He is so arrogant and wicked.. Damn him" I thought out loud. And everybody gasped out loud.

"She is a very foolish girl" Someone said out loud. I looked to my back and I saw that he heard what said because Immediately he stopped walking. The same thing applies to his bodyguards.

"Sir, should we get her for you?" one of the body guards asked angrily, giving me a deadly glare. He did not say anything but only walked away and his bodyguards followed him.

"You are such a lucky girl. Thank your creature that he is in a good mood today" A girl that passed me said and I ignored her.

Emily walked to where I am and scolded me.

"You are such a lucky girl. Approaching Damon like that is a suicide mission. I was surprised he did not even do anything to you even after abusing him" Emily said.

"You can't be serious. So who is Damon that everybody in the school is afraid of?" I asked.

"He is a very dangerous multi-billionaire. He had once killed someone in front of me in high school just because the girl made noise about why the teacher was teaching" She said and I gasped out loud.

"Just yesterday, He gave a girl punishment for colliding with him, he was actually the one not watching his front and He was walking fast. The girl did not see him coming as she was greeting her friend and then they collided... He gave her punishment to knee down on that spot under the hot sun. According to what I heard she was released in the evening after everybody had gone home and I also heard that he told her that next time she collides with him then she is dead" She explained further.

"Jesus, he is so wicked" I said flabbergasted. These are the people my Mummy said I should avoid getting into trouble with.

"Since yesterday almost everybody in the school has been mocking that girl for acting weak in front of Damon because she is his senior," She said.

"She should not mind them, can they themself face him?" I said and asked.

"I wonder," She replied.

"Tell me more about him," I said.

He is my set in high school and he is stinking rich. He is not a human but a werewolf" She whispered the last part.

"Jesus!" I said.

"But it is only a few people that know that he is a werewolf and that few people are werewolves themself. But almost everybody does know that he is not a human with the way he dealt with people even older than him" Emily whispered again.

"How did you know that he is a Wolf or are you a Wolf?" I asked.

"No, I am a human and my best friend is a werewolf," she replied.

"Okay" I replied back.

"My only advice to you now is that you should always avoid him, he is too dangerous, even though he has his good side," She said.

"Okay thanks for the advice, but what is his good part?" I said and asked.

"You will find out yourself," She replied.

"Okay" I replied back

I walked with her to the gate and the gateman let us out as people kept looking at me as if they had seen a ghost and I don't understand, maybe it is because I walked up to their almighty Damon.

"I will take my leave from here" she said.

"Give me your digits?" I asked.

"You mean my phone number?" She asked back.

"Yes,"I replied.

She called out her digits for me and I saved it on my phone as Emily. And I also called out my own digits to her and she saved it.

She passed the left side to God nowhere and I passed the right side to the bus stop. On my way to the bus stop I saw someone pressing his phone and he was so engrossed in it. I walked closer to him and purposely stepped on one of his slippers making him fall flat on his face and I chuckled.

"Oh my god, I'm very sorry I don't see you there, Please forgive me" I said innocently.

"Spear that trash, You would tell me, you never see me on the way before you purposely stepped on me making me to fall flat" He said standing up.

"To be sincere, I didn't see you, I'm very sorry" I asked.

"God save you that my phone did not break, if not, I will have dealt with you severally" He said angrily, making me angry.

"You can't do more than a dead rat, so f*** off" I said angrily.

"You are foolish, instead of apologizing, you are here speaking gibberish" He said angrily.

"You are a nincompoop And I regret ever apologizing to you, So go to hell for your apology" I said.

"I will beat you now and nobody will say anything about it" He said.

"I got my own hand and I will give you the test of your medicine" I replied to him back smiling wickedly.

Just as he was about to fight me, We heard a voice that sounded so angelic and authoritative from my back.

"Stop, leave her" The voice said.

I looked back and there stood the Devil himself as the boy or man ran away.
