Chapter 2 My Dream School

Two weeks earlier

Mara POV

I have always dreamt of going to KJ college. When I was in high school I always admired and followed the news of KJ college online. Their dressing, technology and teaching techniques are the best in America.

My Mummy had warned me severally that I should not go to the school, for some reason best known to her, but I remained adamant. I have heard strange news about the majority of the students not being a real human, some of them are werewolves, some are witches and some are wizards, but that won't stop me from going there.

I stripped off my clothes and went into the bath to take my bath. After I had finished bathing, I walked out of the bathroom and clad myself in a pink outfit after I had worn my underwear. I walked out of my room to the kitchen to meet my Mummy preparing food.

"Good morning Mum" I greeted.

"Morning, daughter... How is your night?" She asked.

"Great mum and You?" I replied and asked.

"splendid, thanks" She replied back.

After my Mummy was done cooking, I helped her in dishing the food. I took the served food in a customized tray to the dining table. We sat down on the chair there and ate. After we were done eating, I took the plate to the kitchen and came back to meet my Mummy sitting down comfortably in the sitting room. And I sat down beside her and discussed the school I am aspiring for with her.

"Mummy today, I am processing my Admission into KJ college," I said. My mummy dropped all that she was doing and gave me a deadly glare.

"Seriously Mara, I am not allowing you to go to that school. Find yourself another school" She answered angrily.

"But Mum, I can't and you can't stop me from processing my admission into that school" I said unhappily and stubbornly.

"Then fund yourself" My mummy said angrily.

"Mummy, if you don't want me to go to that school, then give me a strong reason" I said unhappily. She did not say anything and I said yet again.

"That means you did not love me and you don't want me to go for your own selfish reason..... I do know you went to that college when you were much younger and now you don't want me to go there" I said and she looked at me surprisingly.

"How did you know?" She asked.

"I found out about it in your certificate" I replied.

"It is not as if I did not want you to go, but that school is more dangerous than you thought... And judging from your behavior you may get yourself into trouble there in which the repercussion may be great" She said.

"Mum please, I promised to not get myself into trouble" I said pleading.

"I am very sure you are aware that many humans lost their lives when they angered the non-human in that school... You are a human and it is not safer for you there. My life in that school was a living hell but the living hell stopped when my coursemate started protecting me since he is a non- human" She said and smiled.

"Mum, this one that you are smiling, hope he is not your crush?" I asked.

"Yes, he is my crush if that is what you want to hear and I am not telling you more than that for now" She replied and I chuckled.

"Mum please let me go" I begged again.

"Okay fine, I will let you go because I am not Pharaoh in the bible. But you must promise me one thing" She said and I was happy.

"Which is?" I asked.

"You must promise me that you won't get into any trouble in your new school" She said.

"I promised" I said even though I am not being sincere.

"Okay dear. Go ahead and buy the form" She said, giving me her ATM card.

I brought out my phone and went into their website to buy a form. I uploaded all my documents after I had already filled in my name and other necessary things. A message was sent to me that I should come for my Entrance Examination(CBE) tomorrow and I was happy. I showed my Mummy the message and she was happy for me.

"Read the guideline for the entrance examination... KJ colleges are usually very strict, they won't admit you if you did not pass their minimum score which is usually high" My Mummy said.

"Okay, Mum... I will do just that" I replied happily.

I left her in the sitting room and went into my room to read. If someone had said that My Mummy will allow me to go to KJ college, I would have told them that it is a lie. But here is my Mummy finally accepting. Yeah, my wish of last night to the Moon, came to pass and right now. I am the happiest person on earth. I browsed through their guideline and read as if tomorrow is today.

Let me continue introducing myself. I am fair in complexion and I have blond hair. I am a brilliant student in my former school and the overall best in the whole school.

And the bad side of me is that I am a grade one rascal, I love finding troubles a lot that back up the reason why my Mom was warning me to stay out of trouble in my new school. But I can't, I know myself for that.

After reading till I was tired. I stood up from the chair I was using to read and went into my wardrobe to change my outfit into a male clothes. Yeah, I do buy a lot of males clothes with my savings since I feel more comfortable in it than female clothes because if I wear it there are lesser guys that will stare at me. But if I put on female clothes, all men including old men will be looking at me as if I am a gem that has been lost since one thousand years ago. They are obviously staring at my body and many ladies do claim that I am very beautiful and I have a great curve and hip and amazing behind, yeah you know what I mean, but I don't believe those shit, I just see myself as every other lady, so this back up the reason I hate wearing female clothes, I prefer my buggy male clothes that will cover everything that men and guys sees in my body and I also love packing my long hair putting it under a face cap. The way I park it will make you amazed as to how I could pack my long hair into a face cap.

I walked out of the house and yeah if you are thinking right with me, you will know, I am going to cause some trouble, I just hope Mum doesn't change her mind when she found out I am going for trouble hunting, I chuckled at the thought.
