Chapter 5 You don't have a daddy

Elena's wandering thought returned to base as she turned and glared at her son sharply. These kids, hadn't she told them they don't have a daddy?

Alex is the second among the triplets. Allen is the eldest and Alicia is the third and the youngest of them. Alex and Allen are identical but Alicia, Elena cannot tell where she got her brown curly hair from and green eyes.

She's completely different from her brothers and didn't take after her mother. Why wouldn't a girl take after her mother, Elena never ceases to ask herself.

"I don't know about your daddy, honey. But I thought we've talked about it, that you do not have a daddy" Elena replied. Kids can be so annoying, just that morning, she told them to forget about having a daddy.

"But why can't we have our own daddy? Other kids have daddies, except us?" Alex proved further.

Elena's complexion turned pale. These kids would be giving her a hard time if they kept pestering her about their daddy. She doesn't know who the stranger was.

Either he was a guest in the hotel, or a gigolo or a drunken man who slept with her without even knowing, she cannot say. And to be honest,it doesn't make sense going to investigate who the man was.

"Can we drop this topic Alex. It makes me uncomfortable" Elena requested. More than being uncomfortable, it makes her feel uneasy to think that she slept with a stranger as a married woman.

"Alright mummy" Alex reluctantly agreed. He must find out about his daddy. He likes having someone who will hold his hand and walks side by side with him as his father.

Allen is just unconcerned. But he would ask him about joining forces with him to find their daddy. Alicia is too fragile. She would cry any moment if she gets fatigued.

Elena got into her new apartment, a condo on the second floor of the building. She moved in with her kids and their nannies.

The house was quite big and had different rooms. The kids immediately fell in love with it and started running around. Seeing them happy, she sighed.

That's her worry, will the kids like their new home? She's gotten her answers and she can settle in and start making preparations for resumption in a few days.

That same evening, Rukky was driving home from the hospital. It appears it's her turn now to always visit the hospital. She had taken over from Elena.

It's been over five years now since she had Nicole. She hadn't been able to get pregnant again. She's worried about it and doesn't know what to do.

She'd worked hard and she just couldn't conceive. Her mother in-law is starving for more grandchildren and as she gets older, her resentment towards her is on the rise.

That woman is a witch. She's getting in the way between herself and her husband. She cannot owe her husband to herself simply because his mom lives with them.

But Alice can also testify that she's not making her stay any easier than it used to be. She will frustrate her until she decides to return to her home, that's if she has any or go wherever she wants to go.

If she doesn't take serious actions against that woman, she would turn her son against her like she did to Elena.

Despite Elena loving her so dearly, she turned her back against her and paid her evil for her good heart. But she's not so gullible like Elena to walk away in tears, leaving her marriage of a few years.

If anyone dares her, she would teach such a lesson that they will not forget in a hurry. She's Rukky Sander not Elena Sander, the good girl.

After work, Andrea decides to give his wife a treat. He took her out and their daughter Nicole. Andrea doesn't feel bothered in the slightest about another child.

According to him, another baby is an added blessing. He has a daughter and that's enough for him to be called a father. But his mother wants a brood of them.

He took Them to an ice cream shop and ordered two cups of ice cream for them. Coincidentally, Elena had come out to get groceries and decided to get ice cream for the triplets.

Andrea and his family stood behind a woman who was in the queue just before them. The back view of the woman appeared familiar but Andrea shoved the thought aside, she'd gone out of Sogal city for good.

He'd searched for her secretly. But it all came down to a dead end. Elena had left Sogal city for good. She probably couldn't take it. The pain of them both, betraying her was too heavy for her beautiful soul.

"For the last one, give me the one with less sugar...''Elena requested. Alicia is too strange of a girl for her. Only God knows where she got that girl from.

Andrea recognised it immediately. It can only belong to one person, and that is, his ex-wife. Then he glanced at her back view again and he turned, locking eyes with Rukky...
