We got to the restaurant that Jai said and we parked far away and just walked to the restaurant itself and we caught up with Jai who was confused about the installation of a design.
"Beshy!" Jai shouted while fixing the design and walked towards me when he fixed it and immediately hugged me.
"It's the birthday, so this is the gift," said Jai and I saw that Yin's mixture came together.
"Jai," Yin threatened but Jai only made him suffer.
"Are you going to sleep outside later?" Jai threatened and Yin frowned.
I laughed because of them when I felt that Adam was behind me.
I looked at him and smiled.
"Are you still okay?" I asked and he nodded and blew a little air.
"You're cute," Jai said and laughed so hard that I winced.
"We also discussed color," said Jai, which is why I looked at what we were wearing.
I was wearing a gray jumper dress and Adam was wearing a gray hooded jacket with trousers.
I just noticed.
"Cute," Jai said again before going to Floryn who was a bit nervous.
I looked at Adam and realized that his hair was a mess. I don't think I combed my hair.
"Suddenly," said Yin, which is why I also nodded and reached for Adam's hair and lightly combed it. I don't even have a comb with me.
She didn't complain so I just fixed her hair.
"Sheeshh, I'm thrilled," said Yin suddenly so I stopped what I was doing and turned my back on Adam and looked at Floryn "Shut up, bastard," Adam whispered that I didn't hear.
"I was just sleeping a while ago and suddenly they poured cold water on me," said Saber, which made me laugh softly opened up to me," Yin said, making the three of them laugh except for Adam.
"It's a good thing I received it," Nulan boasted and they winced.
We all took our places when the things that needed to be taken care of were finished and I hardly helped anyone.
Atlas arrived panting and his hair was a mess, Yin couldn't stop laughing so we all went out for the surprise.
Floryn hit him because of that. But Atlas looked really funny when he came here. His hair was messy, he was wearing a t-shirt and shorts that were almost all baggy.
"Are you from the trash, dre?" Yin asked that's why we all laughed except Adam who handed him the coat.
He must have known that his friend would come who looked like that.
"What's the reason why he looks like that?" I asked Adam next to me and he bowed before speaking.
"She called him and says that she's been kidnapped," Adam said simply so my eyes widened.
"Too much," I said in shock and looked at Adam who nodded because of what I said and he stood up straight.
A gift was being given and I didn't have anything, luckily Adam had prepared something and Adam handed over two keys "One house, one car," Adam said simply as if he was handing out candy.
"Wow," I said in a low voice because it was so easy for him to give such a thing.
When it was Floryn's turn to give the gift, she just said yes and Atlas immediately understood what she meant and ran out of the restaurant.
"She said yes!" he shouted outside so I laughed weakly as well as the others.
"How long did Atlas court Floryn?" I couldn't help but ask Adam.
"5 years," Adam said so I stopped and looked at him and he nodded at me.
as in? It's been a while.
I smiled as I watched Floryn and Atlas hug each other now.
Well, success is a surprise. I'm so happy for them.
We just got home after the party and I sat on the sofa with a sigh.
The party was fun. There were chefs who prepared meals for us and I was very full. People were laughing and happy there which made me happy too.
"I have a meeting, I'll be back at 7," Adam said goodbye and I looked at my watch and saw that it was 5:30 in the afternoon.
"Be careful," I said to Adam and waved at him until the car left.
I closed the house and sat on the sofa to watch TV, I had nothing to do. I'm already full because of the food prepared there at the birthday party.
I was just watching a show when my cellphone rang and it was an unknown number, but I answered anyway.
"Hello?" I answered the call.
"Hello, Aryn. When I was cheating on me with Adam, this is actually your number," said a woman on the other line Mrs. Ross.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Ross," I said and sat down suddenly properly and a little nervously.
["I just told you mom," he said so I bit my lower lip.
"S-alright. M-mama," I said and swallowed because I stuttered.
"Much better," he said so I was relieved.
"Why were you summoned?" I asked and turned down the TV.
"Oh, about that. I should really call Adam because I thought he wouldn't agree. Knowing that man, he's very busy, so I'll only talk to you," said mom, which is why I nodded even though she couldn't see me.
"Adam's grandmother wanted him to take a vacation here," said mom, which is why I was stunned.
"Since he has a wife, which is you, you should go with him so that his grandmother can meet you. Adam hasn't been home here for like 5 years so his grandmother really misses him a lot," said Mrs. Ross that's why I nodded.
"Alright, I'll tell him," I said and looked at my watch.
"He will come home later because he has a meeting," I said.
["Please Aryn. Do everything to get him here in the province. That man is such a workaholic that he also needs a vacation. Tell him. I will wait for you,"] said Mrs. Ross that's why I nodded.
"Alright," I said and we said goodbye to each other and I just watched TV while waiting for Adam.
Vacation?
I was just quietly watching the news flash.
Breaking news 200 hundred minor girls were rescued from the hands of people who abducted them. The police said someone called them saying they went to a construction site in Makati city and that's where they found the missing girls. The police do not know who is the person who saved them. The victims are thankful to the alleged men who saved them. Everything is taken care of.
The report showed the minor girls but their faces were blurred. I was sad because of what happened to them and happy because they survived and can go home to their respective homes.
Right after the report, Adam just arrived and Von, his personal bodyguard, was with him.
"Welcome Home," I said and looked at the clock and it was exactly 7 in the evening.
"Have you eaten?" Adam asked and Von left "Not yet. I'm still full," I said and stood up from sitting.
Adam went straight to the kitchen so I followed him.
"Can you cook again?" said Adam who looked really hungry.
He only ate a little at the restaurant because his stomach didn't like the food.
"Alright, I'm cooking," I said and took ingredients from the fridge and started cooking.
I cooked my own dish and Adam liked the three dishes I prepared for him.
I sat in a chair opposite him and he looked at me.
"Your mom called," I began.
"What did she say?" Adam asked and drank some water and stopped eating.
"You should go to your province," I said instead of saying 'we' are going.
"Just me?" he asked and leaned back in the chair.
"N-no. I can come with you because you're the only one who missed your grandmother, so maybe I'm not needed there," I said because I didn't want to crowd myself there, especially since their whole family was there.
"You don't want to come?" he asked while looking at me.
"like?" I said and he suddenly reached for my hair and messed it up.
"I'm not going anymore," he said and leaned back in the chair. My eyes widened.
"Go," I said and drank the water that was just beside me.
"Not anymore," he said and crossed his arms "Go, your grandmother misses you," I said while just looking at her.
"No," he said simply and put down the spoon.
"Adam," I said.
"Aryn," he also said so I frowned.
He has to go! Mrs. said this. Ross.
"Go," I insisted.
"No," he said again and took the spoon again.
"We're going," I said and stood up from the chair.
"Okay. If you say so, we will go," he said and continued eating.
My eyes widened. We will go? With me?
Adam and I had just finished packing and it was noon when we finished. Mrs. also called. Ross and told us to stay there for a while.
I sighed as I looked at Adam who was talking on the phone.
"Alright. Bye, dad," Adam said and ended the call.
He turned to me and I smiled at him.
"We're leaving?" I asked and he nodded and took our two suitcases that were also gray.
I guess, his favorite color is gray.
We will be married for five months next week and I have learned a lot about him.
When it comes to food, I've mastered his likes, and I've also learned his likes and dislikes.
He hates bright colors. This house is very clean and only gray and white, but it doesn't look sad.
He doesn't like things that are messy, that there is a lot of clutter around and he doesn't like too much noise. Adam was in VIP when they were at the bar and the one who got the live only insisted on entering.
"Let's go," he said so I quickly walked to the car and smiled at him because he opened the door for me.
"Thank you," I said and got into the car and he turned around to the driver's seat He started the car and the gate opened on its own and I saw Von just looking at us as we left.
Not with him?
"You can sleep if you want. It's a long trip," he said but I shook my head.
"I'm not sleepy," I said and peeked out the window.
It's the first time I've been able to get out and go somewhere else. I hope everything will be okay.
I was quietly looking out the window when suddenly my cell phone rang and I saw that it was Jai calling.
"Hello?" I said when I answered the call.
"Oh my gosh Aryn! We were invited by Mrs. Ross to go to their province! You too?!"] Jai asked and because his voice was so loud, I moved the phone away from my ear.
"Hmm.. the mother of Mrs. Adam is Ross so we are going," I said and looked at Adam who was driving seriously.
"O M G! Yes! This is vacation!" Jai said, making me laugh a little.
"Ang likot mo Jai," I heard Yin say on the other line.
"He!"Jai said, making me laugh again.
"Alright, bye first, your fiancée might get angry," I said.
["Alright, see you there!"] said Jai and hung up.
I gasped and put my cellphone back in my pants pocket.
"They will also come to your province?" I asked and looked at Adam.
"Yeah. They were my childhood friends so my grandmother knows them," he said making me nod.
"Is it nice there?" I asked again, breaking our silence.
"No," he said, making me stare.
"No?" I will ask.
"I feel like I'm in jail whenever I go there," he said while seriously looking at the road.
"Oh," I said and leaned against the window "But for my mother, she finds that place very peaceful. In her eyes, that place is very beautiful," he said so she looked at him again.
Is it really nice there? I have never been to any province. I held my breath because I think my head hurt.
"You'll answer your own question once we go there," Adam said so I nodded.
"Sleep for now if you want," he said so I leaned back in my chair.
I was surprised when Adam suddenly did something next to me while looking at the road. He lowered my chair so I could lie down properly.
"Rest for now, the flight is long," he said so I smiled at him and he looked at me and he suddenly messed up my bum.
Why is he so handsome? It is guaranteed that many women will fall in love with him at first sight.
"Have you got a girlfriend?" I suddenly asked while he was seriously driving.
"I didn't have any girlfriends in the past," he said, which is why I thought of what his mom said.
How much of a workaholic is he and he doesn't even have a girlfriend.
"You're handsome," I said and smiled at him. I'm stating facts.
"Oh yeah?" he said and grinned.
I nodded and he looked at me and ruffled my hair again. Even though I was lying down, he still reached me, he didn't even leave his seat. His hands are too long.
"Just sleep, you're being so naughty," he said and turned his serious face back and looked at the road. He is quick to get serious.
"Okay, I hope you liked my compliment," I said and closed my eyes.
"I liked your compliment, now sleep," he said so I opened one of my eyes and saw that he was driving seriously.
I just closed my eyes until I completely fell asleep.
I woke up because I smelled food. I sat up while rubbing my eyes. I saw Adam putting hot water in a cup of noodles and the car was in auto drive.
"You're awake," he said and handed me the cup noodles which I immediately took "Thank you," I said, still hoarse.
He handed me water and I drank it before starting to eat the noodles.
It's night. I looked outside and saw that it was dark around and only a few houses had lights on and we were passing by trees and mountains.
I felt a little nervous because of that. I don't like the dark.
I moved a bit away from the window and almost wanted to sit next to Adam.
"Are you okay?" Adam asked while also eating cup noodles.
"It's dark," I said and looked outside only to see trees. It's also nervous because I have something else on my mind. Maybe something will appear or we will suddenly break down in the middle of the road "Afraid?" he asked and I slightly nodded and finished the cup noodles and he took it from me and put it in a plastic bag.
Adam took something from the back of the car and covered the two windows that I don't know what it's called. As long as I don't see anything outside. Because the car window is tinted and only we can see what is outside.
He even covered the two mirrors in the backseat and his window as well.
"Good?" he asked and I nodded slightly.
I lay down again because I was sleepy and he handed me his jacket which was too big for me to cover.
"Sleep tight. It's still far away," he said and he drove the car again.
"You can't sleep?" I asked and adjusted the bed "No. I can't sleep either," he said so I just nodded and closed my eyes.
"Good night," I said and I felt him adjust the jacket that was covering me and turn down the air conditioner slightly.
"Good night. Sweet dreams," he said so I just smiled before I was completely engulfed in darkness.
Our trip is fine so far, I hope everything will be fine when we go to their place.
