Chapter 4 Find Her For Me

In no time, her throat began getting more and even more dryer, and she sobbed as it did a perfect job in making her suffer, and she began cringing on the couch.

" My throat." She sobbed.

♠DAYBREAK ∞ HOME♠

At the first cry of the morning cock, Silvia stretched out her arms with a yawn as she gradually sat upon the couch, and the sunlight rays flashed on her face as she began opening her eyes.

Her sleep couldn't be comparable to any other pleasure in the world. It was sweet and enjoyable.

She felt energized as she eventually smiled when she opened her eyes, but the first thing she saw was a crying April on the couch opposite her, rolling on it as she held her throat.

Her face was f**kin' red, and her cloth was wet from tears. The smile on her face broke like shattered glass.

" April!" She shouted as she rushed to her and held her by the sides, examining her body to see what was wrong.

" What happened to you?" Her eyes stopped on her hands on her throat and she removed April's hands, but April responded by crying painfully.

The alarm began ringing in a nearby table with '7:30AM' blinking on the screen, but Silvia grew deaf to its loudness as she focused all her attention on April. The way she was acting was scaring her ribs out. Her best friend was in pains, and she could feel it too.

" April, what's wrong with you? Talk to me, please!" Silvia begged, but April kept on sobbing as her eyes grew blind to tears, and Silvia felt like tearing up worriedly too.

" M... M... M...y... My... Th... Roat..." April managed to cry out painfully.

" Your throat?" Silvia mentioned, but April resumed holding her throat and cried miserably.

Without thinking twice, she pressed both her fingers by the sides of her mouth, forcing it open as she forced extra two fingers from her other hand inside to see clearly. It was totally dry.

" F**k! It's bone dry!" She exclaimed and left April's mouth, and April continued rolling on the couch, unable to speak as she cried.

" I'll go get some water." Silvia stood and began rushing off.

" No! I... It... Hu... rts! Aarrrg..." April managed to shout but got silenced by the painful deal her throat gave her, and Silvia turned back sharply.

" What?" You don't want water?" She asked, but April was unable to reply as Silvia got another idea.

" I'll be right back." She rushed out of the house without changing or picking anything, and April's cries intensified when she left, and the alarm kept blaring.

April was sure she could see the gates of hell as she gripped her throat harder in pain, hardly able to breathe because she couldn't drink water.

Silvia came back exactly after 5 minutes, holding a melting cup of ice cream in hand as she walked to April's front. Her hair was messy, and she was panting like she ran a 5 minute marathon to and back.

" Eat." She gave it to April, but April declined by pushing the ice cream back. Her eyes had grown even red infact.

" I don't want to, it's wet." She groaned with the last energy in her, and like that, Silvia forced her mouth open again the way she did earlier and brought down the ice cream towards her dry throat.

" No, Silvia noooooooooooo!" She screamed and struggled seriously, but her weakness from crying made it futile.

Silvia dropped the already melting ice cream into her mouth with one drop, and it melted straight down her jugular.

April tried spitting it out, but was too late because she had swallowed it. Her expression was the other way round because she looked horrified. She began expecting to even vomit blood and be on her way to heaven as she stared at Silvia with in the horrified manner, but no. Nothing happened.

In fact, she was feeling much better. No more pains in her throat.

April sat upright and laid her hands by her sides, looking relieved while Silvia grabbed and stroked her hands. She swallowed the remnants in her mouth, getting rid entirely of the sweet ice cream.

" But, how did you do it? How did you know?" April asked surprisingly, and Silvia simply chuckled.

" Let's say... I'm a human with an immortal brain." She replied, and April creased her brows.

" I knew it ever since your hair turned grey." She began seriously, and April locked eyes with her that needed answers.

" Since the time you... changed, I knew that something was up. A normal human couldn't possibly do what you did. Electricity." She explained, but April immediately felt ignorant.

" No, no, no... Not electr..."

" I saw you. I saw when you shocked Natalie back there. And as a student, you're supposed to know that electricity and water don't work together."

" But, what about the ice cream? It was wet, and..."

" Ice cream is made from milk, not a single trace of water in it. Just pure heavy cream base." She narrated, and April just look dumbfounded.

" Look, April. All I know is that... Right now? You are nothing close to human, even with the blood running in your veins." She said, and April felt herself gulping.

" It's real, and you just have to believe it. There's something in your body that isn't ordinary, and you have to learn about what it is." Silvia gradually stood up while holding her hands, and April got lifted to her feet too.

" I know, it's hard. But the more you deny it, the worse it'll get for you, and in your future." She reasoned carefully.

Silence dominated the space between the two friends, only their eyes speaking to each other with mixed feelings.

The alarm sound became loud and came to their hearing, and Silvia went to turn it off, looking at the time.

" We're already late for school. But I don't think you'll even have to go anymore " she said and turned to look at April, but April's face wasn't positive at that moment.

" What do you mean? I have to go to school. The classes... The lectures... You know I'm close to getting an 'F' if I fail to go today...."

So you're telling me with that grey hair, blue strange eyes and hyper- charged electric body, you still want to go?" Silvia interrupted with a serious question, and April resumed silence as her heart pounded out of sadness and anxiety.

Silvia walked to April till their faces were inches close, and maintained that careful expression she had all the while.

" I even expect you to be saying this yourself... April. You wouldn't want to endanger your life or that of someone else when suddenly something happens and, boom. You've striked someone to death." She said, and April felt herself sniffing.

She wanted to continue school badly, but she also didn't want to cause someone's death. It was painful to accept, but maybe Silvia was right.

Tears were threatening to fall out of her eyes, but she was holding it back with all the strength she had till Silvia would go and not see them.

Silvia walked in without another word, and those piercing tears rolled down her eyes in multiple volumes, followed by a pitiful wail as she broke down completely on standing.

Silvia came back out after a few minutes of preparing, and she held a hand bag, walking back straight to crying April, but April didn't even look up.

Silvia let out a gasp to release all the emotions she held in too, and before she knew it, she broke down into tears guiltily and hugged April very tightly, and they both sobbed over each other's shoulders for quite a while.

" We'll find an end to this. It won't last forever. Please, just be strong while I'm gone for me. We'll fix this when I come back, I'm so sorry." Silvia sobbed while rubbing April's back, and April cried even louder.

Silvia slowly broke the hug in tears, and left for the door without breaking eye contact with April.

" We'll find an end to this. I promise you that when I come back." Silvia sniffed, and she broke the eye contact.

In reluctance, she left through the door and locked it afterwards. When her face was outta sight, April broke down heavily into more tears.

She fell on the couch and began sobbing loudly with her face down, banging her fists and throwing her legs miserably upon it.

♦DIAMANTE FASHION INDUSTRY♦

The fashion industry was a large building, having its name printed at front in expensive lettering materials. It was glittering as much as the industry.

Various stylish cars were parked within the industry, worth billions of dollars by ordinary judging with the eyes.

Fashion stylists, the best from all over the world were inside the industry in troops, working on bizarre designs as clothes of different tastes and colours filled the large company. These styles had never been seen or used in public before. Their main deal is to make clothes for the rich, and these clothes looked like they fell from heaven.

Outside the industry, a Porsche car drove in, parking roughly in front of it and hitting off a sign that read ' NO PARKING ALLOWED HERE'.

The driver of the vehicle came out wearing a unique white suit with white handgloves. He went to the other door and opened it, bowing for the owner while he waited for her to come out.

A pair of amazingly attractive golden stiletto heels stepped out of the car, followed by denim white and smashing trousers. The owner came out fully, looking regal and arrogant while chewing a gum, scanning the industry with judginess through her eyeglasses.

She wore a jacket that was purely made from jaguar fur, and held a white handbag too. Her whole dressing was entirely dipped in white except for her golden shoes. Her car was also white, it was her favorite color.

She walked sassily and majestically into the industry, and her guards came out of another car that parked behind hers instantly, following her in. When she stepped in, various stylists looked up to see who it was, and they began gasping and murmuring as she walked past them.

" Oh my goodness, it's Heiress Azalea!"

"So gorgeous..."

"Her shoes, I wanna die for them."

"I feel like stealing her handbag all of a sudden."

" Why do I care? I can't even design something as good as hers."

" Regally exciting."

Azalea smirked while listening to their comments, loudly popping the bubble gum from her mouth.

She had only taken a few steps before bumping into the fashion director. He was a bit shorter than her, had a scarf around his neck, wore a beret and held a handfile.

He stepped back and smiled on seeing her.

" Heiress! Oh, am l glad to see you. Sorry what am I even saying? Good day, your excellence." He did a little bow, and Azalea removed her eyeglasses, exposing her emerald green eyes.

Her face was so beautiful, fresh and young. She looked like in her early thirties, whereas she was advancing 50 years of age soon.

She eyed him from head to toe, judging his look, and scoffed out before wearing her glasses.

" I suppose you picked that dress up from the trash can, hmm?" Her sassy and arrogant voice charismatically came to hearing.

" But Heiress, I wear this same dress... Everyday. I wore it yesterday infact when you came, and you said it looked good on me."

" Don't care. I've got no time for this." She shut him off, and he kept quiet.

" And where are the designs I asked for? I'd be visiting Paris tomorrow, you remember that right?" She said and resumed chewing gum, and his face went pale with fear immediately.

" Oh... I... I, I, I, uh... I've done them already." He lied, standing as still as a statue as he began sweating.

" Really? Let me see..." She gestured, and he gulped.

" It's not really in my power to do so, because... Uhm, they're adding some extra touches to it, to make you look more... Majestic." He spoke enthusiastically just to impress her and take her mind off it, but she gave no reaction to his action as she popped the gum in her mouth and kept chewing.

" I wanna see it as soon as possible, unfailingly later today. Don't fail me." She said with authority and walked out while her guards followed suit. The fashion director made sure that she'd left, before releasing a heavy sigh.

" Silly old fool. Where the hell do you expect me to get 'lion skin and 1000 raw emeralds' from?" He mocked and sneered her. " I hope they assassinate you before you get home." He sneered and faced the stylists who were still gossiping.

" Get to work!" He yelled at them, and they flinched and resumed to their positions immediately.

Azalea had gotten to her car, and her driver opened the door for her to step in when Cederick came rushing with a pad in hand. He's her assistant.

He's sweating on his shirt, and kept wiping himself constantly with a handkerchief while he panted.

She rolled eyes like he was a piece of shit instantly.

" Heiress, you forgot me at the press conference as soon as you got out. I had to run from there to find you here." He narrated his ordeal, and she scoffed.

" Get into the car and quit lamenting, Cede." She said, and was about to step in when Cederick stopped her.

" But I have something to show you." He said fast, and she spared him a glance reluctantly as he quickly showed her his pad.

On the screen was the picture of April's electrified form and Danny, the moment when she fell upon him, and her eyes went wide with shock as she pulled off her eyeglasses and threw them down, one of the guards picking it up.

" Let me see!" She snatched the pad to look at it more carefully, and it was just as clear as it was before.

" isn't this Danny?" She exclaimed while she removed the pad from her face.

" Yes, it's him." Cederick replied, and she looked back at the pad, staring at the picture.

Her focus went to April, and she narrowed her eyes at her.

" And who's this, grey haired girl?" She asked curiously.

" From my findings, there's no particular detail about her. They just call her 'Grey Witch'. He explained, and she looked at him as a tempting smirk formed on her lips.

" This girl right here... Looks like the key to my success. I need her." She said without caring, and Cederick let out a light shocked gasp.

" Excuse me? Heiress?"

" Yes. Use every means you have, and find her for me. I don't care how you'll do it, but I need her. She's going to be my money bank, she'll bring me a lot of fame and wealth." She smirked evilly, and Cederick stared both in horror and reluctance.
