Chapter 9 No.9

Angel's POV

We spent many days in that cabin and had a very confusing time.

During this time, Gabriel gave me a wonderful experience. I can see that he was really trying to make things right between us.

It's so hard for me to believe that Gabriel changed.Although I swore that I would never trust Gabriel, I still want to know what he would do.

Just like he said ,he is my mate.Both Salde and I need our mates.

"What are you doing?"Gabriel hugged me.

"I was trying to contact Kayden."Using our mind link.

I could feel that Gabriel was unhappy.Actually, every time I attempted to tell Kayden we were safe,he always stop me and then cover me with his body again.

"It has been three days.I must connect with Kayden!"I push him away.

"OK."Gabriel gave up disturbing.

But I cannot get in contact with Kayden,I tried to do this several times.

What's wrong with him?

"We have to go Gabriel!"I was worried about Kayden.

We wore our clothes,and push the door of cabin.

And Kayden was standing outside, with a large group of his partners.

"You are here Ann.I have been looking for you for three days."Kayden's voice was tired.

He ordered all his partners to find me.I used to talk to him every time I went out, but this time I didn't. I knew he must have been looking for me, and I felt so guilty.

"I'm sorry Kayden. And you can call me Angel like you always do." I said.

Kayden looked at Gabriel and me. He guessed that Gabriel already knew my name.

"Angel, you smell a lot like him. Have you been marked by him once again ?"

"There's a reason for this one Kayden."I was going to explain.

But Gabriel stepped in front of me, and a sudden surge of hostility erupted between him and Kayden. The struggle between the two Alphas made everyone take a step back, except me.

"Angel, will you be my mate? The position of Luna of the Wolf pack will always be yours." Kayden.

Had Kaiden gone mad?

I stood still and looked at all the people around me. Almost the entire pack had come.

Why would he ask a question like that in front of so many people?

"No, she can't. She is my mate!"Gabriel spoke up before I did.

"I was talking to Angel, not you, and I only want to know her answer. You said you were her mate, but as I recall, Angel rejected you. She didn't want a mate like you!"

"The Moon Goddess gave Angel to me, she has been with me for the past few days, and I can help her through the heating. Besides, she already promised to give me another chance last night."

"Is that true, Angel?" Kayden looked sad.

Did I say yes?

Last night was so crazy that I can't remember it.

I didn't answer, and Kayden's face gradually turned gray.

He looked down to compose himself, then looked at me again.

"Angel, you know, I like you. No matter what decision you make, I still want you to be my Luna."

Oh, god.

Why did the situation come to this?

How do I answer Kayden?

Everyone looked here and I saw many familiar faces, all of them were good companions of Kayden and good to me. I couldn't refuse Kayden in front of them.

I went up and took Kayden's hand and said softly.

"Let's go somewhere else Kayden."

"Why do you want to go somewhere else? Can't you just say it right here?" Gabriel grabbed my shoulder.

"Let go of me, Gabriel!" I shouted.

"No! You have to make a decision here!"

"I can't make a decision here!"

"Why? Are you in love with this man? Do you want to promise him? Then what's that promise you made me last night?"

"I'm sorry, Gabriel. I don't remember any promises, I don't remember anything last night." I spoke the truth.

Gabriel suddenly got angry, his eyes started to turn golden.

"Another solution, the stronger one between us to stand next to Angel."Gabriel looked at Kayden.

"Angel will be mine."Kayden shifted into the wolf. He used his Alpha powers to get everyone to leave, and in just a few seconds, all those people were gone.

They fought, both of them shifting into wolves, shooting up a huge cloud of dust with each round.

Why did things turn out this way?

Why did they get to make decisions for me casually?

I need to stop them,while they fought really fiercely.

Gabriel knew more on how to fight than Kayden.

It was little difficult for Kayden to avoid Gabriel's attack with all his power.I rushed to Kayden's side and helped him defend against the hit. Maybe it looks like I've made a decision.

Gabriel stopped his attacks,standing a few steps away from me. His eyes turned back to gray as he looked deeply at me.

He clearly won,or seemed to lose.

"So, this is your decision,Angel?"
