"I could only remember his voice. I can't count how many times I dreamed about that night. I might be wrong, but I don't know why I feel like this," I said, embraced by Mits.
"My kids went to him. Of all people at the party, they ran to him. Could blood connection be real? Mits, what if it's true? What if he's Sir Miggy?" Mits released her hug, wiping my tears.
"We're not sure yet; let's find him. Or if you want, we can do a DNA test."
"What if it's true?" I sobbed.
"Then you have to tell him. He has the right to know he has three amazing babies." I looked at my three kids sleeping peacefully in the back of the car.
The next day, I reluctantly went to the office. I didn't know how to face Sir. But there's still no certainty, right? He might not be the one who got me pregnant. And he seems like a good person. He looks upright; he wouldn't do such a thing. Maybe I misheard. It can't be him.
"Hey!" Lotie shouted as we entered the elevator. "Why so down? You look like a corpse."
"Nothing, just tired maybe," I replied. The elevator was about to close when it suddenly opened again. I felt awake when I saw Sir entering, talking on the phone. We moved aside and fell silent.
The elevator smelled so good, his cologne filling the air. He was impeccably groomed, hair perfectly in place.
"Good morning!" Sir greeted as he hung up the phone.
"Coffee?" We both widened our eyes as he handed us two coffees.
Halla, isn't that for him and someone else?
"No, Sir!" Lotie and I said simultaneously. He paused, looking at the coffee he held. "Is there something wrong with my coffee?" he asked.
"Take it. I'm heading to the Board Room. Can't drink it anyway." Lotie reluctantly took the coffee from him.
The elevator opened, and we all stepped out. Our department was on the same floor as their Board Meeting.
"You go ahead, Bes. I really need to pee!" Lotie said, handing me the coffee.
As I looked in the direction of the restroom, I bumped into a guy. "Woah!" he panicked. "That was too close!" he said. I nearly spilled coffee on his clothes.
"Sorry, didn't see you."
"It's okay." He chuckled. "You're?"
"Kyla, Sir, Kyla Aragon." I nodded. "I'm Corbin De Varia, Miggy's cousin." He extended his hand. I had no choice but to shake it. They really have good looks in their family. This guy is handsome and yummy.
"Wait? Am I being a pervert? I'm heading to the Board Room. But I seem to be lost. Where's the Board Room?" This person asked. "Over there, sir," I pointed in the opposite direction of where I was facing earlier.
"Ah, this is my first time here. I grew up in Virginia. That's where Miggy studied Business after his recovery."
"Recovered?"
"Oh," he covered his mouth, "My bad. Okay, Totie. Thanks! See you around." I was left stunned as he suddenly messed up my hair like a dog.

Miggy's POV
"I love your swivel chairs!" Corin exclaimed like a child on the swivel chair. The meeting had just ended in a rush.
"That's not a toy, Corbin. Knock it off," I told him as my assistant helped me organize the papers we used in the meeting.
"Didn't you miss me? Why no welcome party?" He approached me. "Your party is tonight at 7 pm. Suzeth is in charge. Don't worry."
"How is Suzeth, by the way?" He suddenly asked. "Well, she's doing good. Preparing for our wedding."
"And you? What about your memories?" I stopped as he mentioned that.
"Can you leave us, please?" I whispered to my assistant.
"Don't go around and tell what happened to me, Corbin," I seriously told him. "If they find out I have amnesia, I might be removed from my position."
It took a long time for me to recover and have my current position. If they discover I can't remember everything about myself, they might question my ability to handle the company.
"Sorry," he nonchalantly replied. "I met this girl a while ago. She's hot..."
"Don't go around and hit on my employees," I firmly said.
"What the hell? You're no fun!" He scoffed.
"Having sex with random girls is not fun," I told him. "You can say that because Suzeth is your girlfriend. If she's your girlfriend, you wouldn't find any other girls. She's hot, sexy, and beautiful. What more do you want?"
"You talk like you had sex with her already," I said. He suddenly fell silent, then laughed. "Wish I had," he said.
As I left my office, I saw a woman carrying five boxes of bond paper, struggling to keep them from falling. I quickly approached and lifted three of the boxes.
"Miss Aragon?" I was shocked to see her. "Sir!"
"Why are you doing this? Don't you have male office mates?" I asked as I walked with her into the hallway.
"I'm always doing this. This doesn't matter..."
"You are like Super Woman." I smiled suddenly. I looked at her, but she was looking in the other direction. Her personality admires me; I mean, who would not be amazed by her? She is so young, and yet she was able to give birth to three kids, all boys. Mom always told me it's challenging to take care of male children.
"Sir, I can handle this now." We paused in the Supply Room. We set down the boxes.
"I'm heading out for lunch, to Breadstix. My cousin and I were supposed to eat, but he disappeared with a girl. Maybe... maybe if you want, you can take his place. What a waste."
I noticed she didn't answer immediately. Did I make her uncomfortable?
"My assistant is with me. I know what you're thinking."
"Ah, Sir. Sir!"
"Ahh!" I instinctively touched my head as she suddenly pulled my hair. I was surprised by what she did.
"Sir, something landed, and I didn't know it was flying. Does it hurt?" She tried to touch my hair, but I captured her hands first. "No. It's fine," I said.
"Sorry, Sir," she said worriedly.
"It hurts..." I smiled while touching the part she pulled.
"See you at Breadstix then."
