Chapter 4

Klio's Pov

While we were traveling in his car to their subdivision because that's where we were going to have dinner. That's why he can't help but be nervous because he hasn't seen his parents yet, maybe that's strict.

'I hope they are kind' I said to myself.

"Hey, are you okay?" I turned around at his question.

"Ahhmm yes of course" I lied but I was actually nervous.

"You look so pale, don't worry, they won't eat you when we get there." I nodded.

"Here we are" he said so the big gay immediately turned towards us as soon as we entered there.

I was amazed at the surroundings because there were many flowers and big trees on the side of the road.

"Let's go?" I came back to reality, I didn't know that we were here in front of their mansion, yes a mansion because in our neighborhood can live in its size.

First he got off the bag, then he opened the car door for me to get out. So I went down but I still couldn't take my eyes off my surroundings because I was amazed.

"I know it's beautiful, but can we go inside? So you can meet Mommy" he said while pulling my hand as we went inside.

"Mom!.... I'm home!" He screamed and then a woman also screamed, who must have been his mommy.

"Matthew why are you shouting!?" His mom also shouted at the same time looking at both of us.

"Ohh you're here and who is he? Don't you expect someone with you?" He asked in disbelief.

"Didn't I tell you that I want to introduce you to someone? There he is, it's Klio, Klio my mom" said sir.

"Ahmm nice to meet you ma'am" said bowing slightly.

"Nice to meet you too" he said while looking back at sir.

"Let's have a dinner follow me Klio" said sir I was going to answer but he pulled me suddenly so ma'am looked at us which embarrassed me.

When we got to the kitchen, he immediately sat me down.

"What do you want to eat? Do you like--" he didn't finish what he was going to say because I interrupted.

"Ahmm sir, I'm not hungry yet" because it's because there are so many people ready to have a party inside their house.

"Do you think I will agree to eat it? You need to eat all of this if you want to go home" he said seriously so I was a little scared when he said that.

"Alright, let's eat too" said while starting to spoon some rice.

"I'm not hungry, I just want to see you while eating" he said. So I stopped spooning.

"What?" He still asked? I looked at him when he said that.

"Ahh nothing sir, I'll eat" I just said and started eating.

"Have you seen you brother Matthew?" His mom suddenly appeared.

"I haven't seen him" replied sir but I just continued eating when I got home.

The mommy didn't answer but left.

"Sir, I'm going home" I told him after eating, honestly I wasn't full because I was ashamed to eat when someone was looking at me especially this sir.

"No not now, don't worry I'll be the one to take you to your condo." He said and I nodded.

"Let's go to my room" he said. I wondered why we were going to his room just the two of us.

I was about to speak when all of a sudden he pulled me up at the same time.

When we arrived in front of his room, suddenly someone said that he was going to open the door.

"brother?" The man said that's why we turned around.

But what surprised me was that the man seemed familiar to me. It slowly approached our place.

"Brother, you're here, why didn't mommy tell me that you're coming home here" he said while looking at sir. Then this sir has a brother.

"Why? I don't have the right to go home here? Isn't this my house too?" Sir said annoyed to his brother so I elbowed him in the side to make him look at me.

"Do you remember me? You're the one I bumped into at the grocery store? I don't care anymore?" I asked him. He thought.

"So you've already seen each other?" Sir asked.

"Yes sir, when you called and sent me to your condo, we accidentally bumped into each other. Wait, what's your name?" He asked his brother.

"I'm Blake" he said.

"Ahhh nice to meet you blake I extended my hand but suddenly sir grabbed it while looking at me seriously.

"Mom is looking for you, come see her" said sir so his brother nodded and started walking away.

"And you? Let's go inside" he said while pulling me into his room.

Klio's Madrigal Pov

"Wait, sir, are you pulling the trigger" I yelled at him so he let go while looking at me evilly so I was scared by the way he looked at me.

"What I don't want from everyone is the one who knows the thing that should be mine, no one else. Do you think Klio will you just agree to meddle with the thing that should be yours? Hah?" He looked serious as he came closer and closer to me so I backed away.

"wait sir, what do you mean?" I stuttered as I held my hand on his chest so he couldn't come any closer to me.

He didn't answer but he came closer until his face was close to mine, which made me wince.

"Why are you closing your eyes Klio?" He asked more so I opened my eyes slowly so that the face of sir with raised eyebrows immediately appeared to me.

"Ahh, nothing sir, can you move away a little bit" I said while pushing him. He laughed at what I did so I frowned and looked at him.

"I thought I was going to kiss you, did you close your eyes Klio?" He asked with a hint of annoyance.

"W-what? No, and when have I ever dreamed of being kissed by a boss like you" Kopa said while turning my gaze in another direction.

"Look at me Klio, look at me!" He was angry so I slowly turned to him.

"Tell me, do you like me?" His question was straight to the point, so I was stunned by his words.

"Me sir? Do you like me?, Nako sir that's unlikely to happen----" I finished what I was going to say when he suddenly grabbed me with a kiss that made my eyes widen.

He pressed on kissing me even more as if he were a hungry lion, causing me to feel the blood on my lips. I pushed him so hard that we broke the kiss.

I looked at him with glazed eyes.

"Sir why did you do that huh!? You have no right to kiss me like that just like that. And it was my first kiss, that's important to me!!" Angrily, he pushed him and opened the door and quickly got out.

I heard him calling my name, but I didn't hesitate to listen to that, but I just continued walking, so I met Blake.

"Are you leaving? Where is my brother? Are you two fighting?" He immediately asked me, I didn't answer but I continued walking until I got out of sir's house.

Today is Monday, so it's my day to go to the company again, but I'm still in two minds about whether I'll go in or not because of what happened the other day when sir kissed me without permission.

'Hyst, it's up to you, we need to make money, especially since mom is getting sick now' I exclaimed to myself.

Yes, mom is sick, she called yesterday, so I'm also worried about her, especially since I'm far away from her.

I was about to leave the condo when my cell phone suddenly rang so I took it out of my pocket while looking at the name of the caller.

When I saw that it was Sir Matthew's name, I hesitated to answer it. But I still answered.

"S-sir?..." He stammered.

"Where are you? Why are you answering my calls now?! I need you NOW!" I was shocked by his shout that I knew if he was angry now.

'But what are the calls saying sir?' I asked myself so I looked at the missed calls and there I saw 40 missed calls from sir magaling. I bit my lip as soon as I left the condo.

I took a taxi to deliver to sir's company.

"S-sir?..." I called him while nervous from where I was standing now.

"Is it now? I've been waiting for you here for a while, if I don't yell at you when I call you, you won't come in now" he said. I can't answer what he said.

"Ahmm ano kasi" I finished what I was going to say when he suddenly interjected.

"Is it because I kissed you the other day? Is that your first kiss that important to you? Tell me?" He said with a hint of annoyance.

"N-not because of that, but because..."

"Look at me when you talked to me, I don't like everyone who bows down while talking to me" he said, making me raise my forehead while looking straight at him.

"Do you want me to give you back your first kiss? Huh?" He said as he came closer to me so I was scared and backed away from where I was standing.

"Sir, please don't come closer..." I don't know if that was what I said, I just felt my tears begin to fall.

That's why sir backed away with a worried look on his face.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me" he just said as he returned to his table so I just wiped my tears while going to my table as well while sitting down and stunned.

"Did sir become like this to me? Why?"

Althea's Pov.

"Dad where are you?" I asked Dad on the other line.

"I'm here in the office now son, did you get called?" he asked.

"Now I'm going to Matthew's dad's company, I want to see him, and I want to surprise him that I'm back from the Philippines." It's true if she says she really misses him.

"Son, maybe he didn't like you going there, you know what you did, that's why he got angry with you" he said. I know if I made a mistake but that's not enough for me to let him go. I still love Matthew so I have no reason to give up on him. He is only mine.

"I know that, so I will explain it to him so he can forgive me for what happened then" I just said.

"Oh okay son, it's up to you as long as I'm here for you okay?" He said so I smiled.

"Thanks dad" I said.

"I'll put it down son, daddy will do something" he said. The only answer was yes before he put me down.

So I'm ready to go to Matthew's company.

Klio's Pov

"Can you help me with this Klio?" Sir asked suddenly which shocked me. Little did I know that he was standing in front of me.

"Ahmm.. what is that sir?" I asked when I saw that he was carrying a folder.

"Just help me read these forms, then tell me what the contents of the forms are, okay?" He said more. He nodded while taking the folder.

"And I'm sorry for what I did to you yesterday, I know if I made a mistake in kissing you without permission" he said.

"Ahmm it's okay sir, it happened, it happened. I'm sorry for why I was so annoyed by what you did, but now it's okay. Don't apologize" I said before it was over. I really don't want to talk about that incident.

"I'm sorry once again" he said before returning to his table.

While I was reading the forms given by sir, the door suddenly opened, causing me to look at it, and a woman who was not familiar to me entered.

"Matthew?....Matthew I'm missing you" he said while approaching sir's table causing me to look at their place.

The woman kissed the sir who knew if the sir was also shocked by the arrival of that woman especially by her hug.

"Althea? What are you doing here?, And when did you get home?" Sir asked the woman. I don't know but I felt sadness in my heart for no apparent reason.

"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you before. I don't mean it. I'm here to apologize to you and bring back what we used to be together. Matthew I still love you" Altheang said. I just felt like my heart was being crushed. I know if I shouldn't have felt it, especially from sir.

Sir looked at me as if he was worried about what I heard. Or I just assumed.

I don't know but I suddenly stood up and approached their place.

"Ahmm... Sir, I was going to say goodbye to go home early, because my mom called because it was an emergency" that was the only thing I thought of as a reason to leave our place.

"That's right, take your time" when he said, I immediately left the office and closed the door.

I poured out all my anger there. I know if I shouldn't feel it, to like sir, because we have different statuses in life. He is especially my boss.

'This is what should be done, it is necessary to forget my feelings for him. I should stamp on my skin that I am just one of his employees, nothing more than that' I said in my mind before leaving the place.
