Chapter 5 Shocking arrival

Chloe's pov

I gazed at him, wondering what he wanted this time. I was sure he had come up with a cruel task that would make my punishment even worse than it already was.

I walked over to the side of the bed where he was sitting and looked into his dark brown eyes. they were intimidating, but there was something in them at that moment that made me relax a bit. his eyes were gentle and kind.

"You look exhausted." his words were full of kindness.

I stared at him, astonished. what was going on?

"Yes, I suppose." I said it awkwardly.

I hadn't expected him to be so gentle with me, so I wasn't prepared to respond to it properly.

"Come here." he urged softly. his voice was like a gentle caress to my ears.

I moved closer, and he pulled me, lowering me onto his lap. his lap felt hard and tightly muscled against my rather soft and ample bottom.

his hands were on my shoulders, and he pressed his thumbs on the spot where my shoulder blades were.

"So much tension here." he pointed out the spot.

I didn't know what to say, so I just stayed quiet and watched. my back was turned to him, so I couldn't see what he was doing, but i could feel it.

He took his time and care, touching different spots on my back. most of the spots he touched ached, and he noticed it when I winced at his touch on that particular area.

"Take it off." he said. I was so used to him saying that particular word that I knew exactly what he was referring to. my dress!

"Or should I?" he asked me, making me gasp.

I nodded.

He took off my dress, and I squirmed so it would drop to my midriff.

Alpha andrew started what he was doing from my spine.

His hands were strong yet gentle. he massaged some points around my back, which brought relief to me, and before i could understand what was going on, i'd started moaning unconsciously.

I arched my hips as I felt my pants get hot.

His big hands kept going lower, and I bit my lips in a fit of ecstasy. I felt relaxed, knowing he couldn't see my facial expressions. if he did, he would know just how much what he was doing to me turned me on.

"Better?" he asked, moving forward so he could see my face.

I closed my eyes, and my facial expression went blank that same minute. "Yeah."

His hands left my back, and i panicked.

"Keep going," I said too quickly. "Please, keep going."

He waited for a while, but it felt like an eternity to me, and just when I was about to curse myself for being so foolish, he said, "I have a better idea."

He turned me around on his lap, and I faced him, blushing shyly. I felt embarrassed because of how his touch had aroused me and because of how intensely he stared at my breasts.

"These are gorgeous." he said while he was still looking at my breasts.

I blushed so much that I had to turn my face away from him. he held me in place and caught my gaze. he grinned.

one of his strong hands grabbed my left breast and squeezed it gently. we both gasped in unison. his hand shook a little, and i knew he liked it just as much as i did.

i got dressed in a blue sheer gown and decided to take a walk around. most of the staff in the palace already liked me.

the sound of voices came to me from the room alpha augustus used as his study. it was still strange to refer to him as my husband.

the closer i got to the doorway, the more familiar the voices sounded. one of the voices belonged to my man, and the second voice was... i stopped at the doorway.

sarah!!!

she was sitting there with her legs crossed, and they both looked up at me as i walked into the room.

"nice of you to join us," alpha andrew said with a deep frown on his face.

something was wrong. i could feel the tension in the room as i stepped in. it was so strong it seemed to have a life of its own.

"your sister told me a lot you failed to mention," he said, his eyes filled with so much hatred as he looked at me. i'd never seen him so angry before, and my heart broke into a million pieces.

i tried to say something, but the words wouldn't come out of my mouth. what had sarah told him that made him so mad? i glanced at her, and sure enough, she had a smug smile.

the evil witch!

"take a seat, dear sister," she said, gesturing to an empty chair. "we have a lot to talk about."
