Chapter 7 Stage Name

Finally, O video was released, and just as expected, it also received popularity from fans.

The video immediately grew popular because of the familiar song the girl gifted them.

O maintained a bright, beautiful smile while singing with her deep voice that reminded everyone of a smooth and bold mixed voice.

The girls were glad that they've wrapped up their introduction videos and were currently preparing for their debut album.

The company initially wanted them to sing a song together, to show themselves to the world as Lee Haeun's girl group, but they decided that the girls should focus on their debut song instead.

The following morning, after the four girls had their breakfast, a young woman informed that the CEO wanted to see them.

Aerin had gasped in shock, while Sora's heart went racing fast, perhaps their name was about to be revealed.

They instantly got dressed in their training outfits, a pair of black pants and a white long-sleeved shirt, their hair styled in two pigtails.

The young woman led them to the CEO's office.

She was already waiting for them, expecting their arrival. Lee Haeun had a beautiful smile on her face, on top of the black table were lot's of papers, and there were also a few staff inside her office.

As the girls curtseyed and greeted her, Lee Haeun ordered them to sit down on the chairs facing her.

"Once again, congratulations on your debut girls" she congratulated them for the hundredth time.

The girls nodded, and a blush crept to their faces, they would be very shy whenever the CEO was around them.

The smile on Lee Haeun's face slowly vanished, signaling that she had something very crucial to talk about.

She cleared her throat before she started speaking.

"So girls, I actually don't have to do all these, but you're my first girl group, so I have to handle everything with care" she began, making the girls wonder where her talk was heading to.

"I hope you're all prepared for the new stages of your life?" Though she wasn't asking a question, the girls nodded their heads. "Your debut is around the corner, and from next week, you girls shall begin the song practice" she furthered.

Ryein's eyes widened in happiness, they were now assured that their debut was near.

"I know that you girls are wondering why some vital pieces of information aren't disclosed to you all yet, but don't worry, we shall announce it soon" Lee Haeun was told about how the trainees guessed and guessed the new girl group name.

Some said it was Hexa girls, others said it was Laflor, while a lot argued that it would be CHOK, based on their introduction to temporary alphabet stage names.

She couldn't help but laugh as she was told, none of the names even had a single letter from the name she had in mind.

"So girls, based on your talents, I'd be delighted to announce your positions to you, then you could choose a stage name if you want to" she continued, carrying one of the long books from her table.

The four girls couldn't hold their happiness, they started crying in excitement.

"And also, we'd like to know more facts about you girls" Lee Haeun added. Pointing to Aerin, she began. "Your voice is deep and very good, it gives a sensational feeling to the listener, it suits all sorts of song genres from hip-hop, pop, and others and to even ballad, it is also good for rapping as well, so you must attend rap lessons with Mr Swift to boost your rapping skills. You are the main vocalist of the group!"

Aerin closed her eyes, as tears freely flowed from her tear gland, what a dream come true.

She nodded, "Thank you, Miss CEO, thank you very much"

Lee Haeun grinned, looking very pleased. "But please before I go on, I want you girls to know a few things" Her words kept the girls at the edge of their seats. "Your group has no official leader, dancer, or visual. After Ryein patted Fenhua's back, the CEO continued.

She turned to Sora "You are a very lucky person, your voice sounded so bold and mature, your vocal is suitable for both rapping and singing, your dance skill is superb and your visual is entrancing, you are the Lead rapper and sub vocalist of the group"

Sora who never thought that she would debut felt like she was dreaming, even though she never cried, she felt emotional.

Finally, she turned to Ryein.

"Your voice reminds me of a nightingale, your voice is smooth and relaxed, you can also control your breathing as you sing, your dance is pretty too, and your hard work has made you the lead vocalist of the group" she announced. "And mind you girls, everyone is the center, dancer and visual"

The girls tightly hugged themselves, Lee Haeun waited patiently for them to finish before she continued.

"Stage name?"

"I'd like to use Aerin my real name," Aerin said with a small smile.

"I'd use Raine, my English name"

"Sora"

"And Isla"

"It's all settled then! Congratulations on your debut once again"
