Chapter 1 Episode 1

Amelia's POV

" Plugged in darkness, screams and bloodshed everywhere, I saw myself surrounded by thousands of dead armies, rain pouring down heavily as if it was angry with man kind. I looked down at my body and watched as the rain washed away my blood filled clothes, as if to cleanse me of my sins, yet i couldn't process anything. I felt numb. I saw a man rushing towards me frantically with hate filled gaze and suddenly brought out a dagger and stabbed me with it."

I woke up with a start. My clothe was drenched in sweat. I looked down to see if there was a stab wound but found nothing . It was a dream, but felt so real.

I sat up to process the dream or more like a nightmare. I have been having this dream repeatedly for two weeks, but couldn't understand a thing apart from bloodshed which meant death. Not deliberating much on my dream, I reached for my phone to check the time. It was 5:50am. This was a perfect time to go for a run with my wolf.

"Ugh! I thought you wouldn't get up from the damned bed. My bone are weak for not running these past days and you are not concerned about me. You don't love me anymore." The voice lamented bitterly.

I smiled cheekily at the voice I heard. It was my wolf, Hyna.

"You complain too much Hyna." I said to her while rolling my eyes.

I went into my walk-in closet to change into my workout clothes. Picking my tank top, shorts and canvas, I left for the woods.

After running around for sometimes, my wolf begged me to let her out.

Letting my wolf out, she howled in freedom and I chuckled at her exaggerated antics. My sight because clearer and ears sharper. She immediately broke into a race to declare her happiness. The wind brushed her beautiful white and green fur back as she galloped in the forest, her fur releasing a light, which none of us noticed, as if agreeing with her expected surprise.

I enjoyed the breeze of each passing wind. But that didn't last long.

We were lost. We passed the border of Dark Tide pack. My wolf whimpered in sadness. She was lost in her sudden burst of happiness and went past the border of the pack.

I looked around to find a clue of where I was but was met with a vast land with nothing but grasses and trees.

I mindlinked my best friend, Cole, but he was not responding. I knew he was hungover for him not to respond. Talk about worst timing!

I decided to trace my scent back to get on the right step but couldn't figure which way to go because my wolf ran in circles.

Suddenly, raindrops pattered against my body and was sooner reduced to a drenched dog. I ran quickly to a big tree to seek for shelter.

Thunder boomed and I whimpered. I hated thunderstorms because it reminded me of when my mother was killed. A sob left my mouth at the memories.

I closed my eyes hoping for the rain and thunderstorms to cease.

The night had fallen when I was awoken by a stirring inside me. I adjusted my body but fell from the tress instead. I stood up immediately and blushed in embarrassment thinking if someone saw what happened.

I was so cold. I rubbed my palm against my arm to create a friction of heat. I mind linked Cole again.

"Cole, are you there?." I asked, praying to the moon goddess for him to answer. He answered almost immediately.

"Jesus! Amelia! Where have you been? Are you injured? Where you kidnapped? We have searched God knows where but we couldn't find you." Cole said, sounding worried and relieved at the same time.

"I..I got lost when I went for a run. I don't know where I am." I answered, my voice wavering.

"Just stay where you are Amelia. I will inform your dad about this. He almost went berserk when you couldn't be found." He said.

"Re...really? My dad looked for me." I stuttered.

I couldn't believe what I heard. Since my mom died five years ago, I lost my dad with her. I was abandoned.

He lost his wife but I lost my mom, best friend, confidant and my dad.

"Oh! How I miss his warm embrace." I thought sadly.

"Cole,I'm weak." I said to Cole through the mind like.

"Amelia! You must not fall asleep. Do anything to distract you from falling asleep. Do you hear me?" Cole said, his voice panicking.

"That's what you get from being an omega." I thought.

Omegas was the weakest link in the werewolf pack.

I suddenly felt a warm and peaceful feeling inside of me. It's been a while since I felt this way.

My heart beat heavily in anticipation. I felt so restless for some reason which I couldn't explain.

Although the raindrops continued to hit my skin and I was still cold, I felt so hot inside. My wolf became restless.

I tried to calm her down and ask her to tell me what was wrong, but she kept chanting words I couldn't hear.

That was when I felt it.

An intoxicating scent filled my nostrils. I felt the need to drown in the scent.

It was the smell of deep forest tress like pine and a little bit of cigarette scent, but fresh. It was addictive.

Who did this scent belong to?

My heart was racing in anticipation. But I stood so close to the tree, that you would think I wanted to merge with it.

I felt a brooding presence at my back and stiffened in fear.

I slowly turned back to face the stranger.

He was tall. So tall I had to strain my neck to meet his eyes. His eyes were so dark, and I felt I was pulled into an abyss of darkness, his face holding no emotions.

My wolf brought me out of my stunned state, saying four words I wouldn't have expected.

"Mate."
