Chapter 5 Episode 5

Amelia's Pov

He's just so impossible.

So annoying and full of himself. Does he think he can just boss me around and do with me as he wishes? I'm also of Alpha's blood for goodness's sake. I'm meant to rule not to be kidnapped by another alpha who thinks in his own twisted way that because omegas offended him in the past, I deserve to be treated bad. Or worse killed.

What he displayed in the kitchen drew that line and I'm so furious at him that I feel the undeniable urgent of kicking his perfectly sculptured face.

I was in the garden reminiscing on whether Casper would allow my Dad and his warriors take me, at least the phone wasn't yanked away from my grasp before I mentioned it Cold that I was in Blood moon pack.

I heard a throat clearing behind me to get my attention and jumped in fright. I'm easily startled.

Casper.

What did he want with me again? Is he here to sell me into slave trade?

As if those shits still exists. My wolf retired cheekily.

Casper's next word did not allow me the opportunity of replying her.

"We need to talk". He said.

Woah, what does the big bad Alpha wants with me now?.

"Okay?"

"There's something fishy with our mate bond". He started.

"What do you mean? Is there even an 'our' mate bond to begin with?" I ask frustrated

He keeps confusing me. I know he's acting civil with me now probably because he needs me alive somehow.

"You might not feel it because you're an omega. But the only thing gone from the bond is the aftermath of our physical contact. I still feel drawn to you, it's like I never rejected you on my end." He said lightly frustrated too.

"Woah. You've said it all. I can't feel anything again probably because I'm an omega. But why do I feel the need to bask in your presence every minute?" I said, covering my mouth immediately I finished saying the last part. I don't know why I have to embarrass myself by saying that.

I looked up to see Casper's reaction to what I said but his eyes are guarded like always. But underneath his steel hard eyes, I found some form of amused look. His eyes looks cold but he's somewhat amused at what I said.

"The only logic explanation Ray gave me is that we mustn't be far from each other for too long or else, the result won't be in any way pretty." He said.

"Who is Ray?" I asked.

"Seriously? That's the only thing you picked up from what I said? He's my wolf, by the way" He said looking down at me in annoyance as if I was just a pest he wants to crush but have to deal with.

Awwwww, his wolf has a beautiful name. Hyna said in my head.

You would expect her to be recuperating from the rejection of her mate. But she said the pain only lasted for like thirty minutes after I passed out. I guess it had something to do with what Casper said.

"I invited a witch over. She'd be here in two days maximum. I came here to talk to you to ask if you could stay till then." He asked.

"I can't leave if I wanted to, can I? I would also be affected. So, I guess I have no choice" I said.

He muttered a 'thanks' then walked away immediately as if talking to me was burning his skin.

He sent a guard to give me a phone to call my father to tell him not to worry about coming again. I made the call and answeredy father's questions to the best of my ability.

I sighed then plopped down on the green goodness beneath me.

It's night now.

I avoided coming in contact with anyone other than Casper and Jasper in the pack house by going straight to my room immediately I got out of the garden then locking myself in throughout.

But I've not eaten anything since I left home in the morning. I stormed off angrily from the kitchen before the cook finished making pancakes for me in the morning and since no one mentioned anything concerning food to me again, I did not bother asking.

But now, I'm famished completely. A regular werewolf can only go without food for 24 hours before they start getting weak. But since I'm weaker than a regular wolf, I can only go for 15 hours without neither food not water.

I tiptoed out of my room, with the hope of just entering the kitchen to pick a granola bar or chips, anything to quench my hunger till morning.

What I met outside however, surprised me. The pack was buzzing with people moving around without a care in the world. It's just like we are in the afternoon. It took me some minutes to figure out it was just time for their dinner.

Really? We had dinner as early as six pm in Dark Tide Pack and this is eight pm already, I expected everyone to have slept by now or something .

"Hey, finally decided to grace us with your presence?" I looked sideways to see Jasper coming towards me. He moved closer and draped an arm across my shoulders as if we're besties.

"Yes, I guess. Although I'm just really hungry". I said.

"You're just in time then. It's time for dinner and you could join the pack." He suggested.

I wanted to decline since I'm just about to eat with the same pack members I was avoiding. But the thought of seeing Casper again brought a warm feeling to my stomach and I obliged eventually.

The park's dimming hall is a very grand but simple room. One can't call it neither Simple nor grand since it's filled with modern and shiny equipment but it's not that grand at the same time, it looks simple.

Jasper dragged me along with him to the very front of the hall but I stopped him halfway. That part is only meant for the Alpha, Beta their families which I'm none.

"I think I'd rather take a seat somewhere else in the room, I can't go to that section with you" I said.

Jasper's brows furrows in confusion.

"But you're the Alpha's mate" He said.

"You're wrong. I'm his ex- mate" I corrected.

Jasper sighed then released me. Immediately, he looked behind me and stared at something or rather someone in shock.

I turned around to look at what he was looking at but what I saw made my heart clench in pain .

Casper had his arms wrapped around the waist of a tall, beautiful woman. She's so beautiful that she could pass as a model easily.

Casper made eye contact with me but looked away quickly as if I was just s regular pack member who's staring at her Alpha walking past me with his new found Luna
