DANIEL's POV

This morning, Kathryn is truly irritating. I can't believe we've been stuck together in the same house for a week. Fvcked!

When she came out of her room, her face immediately annoyed me. I don't know why? She's worse than morning sickness whenever I see that pig's face.

Yes, I call her a pig.

She eats like one.

So before leaving the house, I tease her a bit.

I annoy her every day. Just so she has some purpose in our house.

When I arrived at school, I went straight to our room.

Oh yeah, I'm taking up Engineering. As for the pig, she's in Fine Arts.

Actually, I don't even like engineering.

I only enrolled in the same course because of Julia.

She's my girl. Yeah! My one and only girl.

And Kathryn? Whatever. In her face. I'm not interested.

As I entered our room, damn, it's so noisy!

I immediately looked for Julia, my babe.

There she was,

"Hi, Julia babe?" I said as I sat beside her. "How's your day?" I smiled.

"Don't call me babe in the classroom," she softly said. "Someone might hear, and it might get to your wife."

She knows I'm married. But she also knows about the agreement between me and Kath.

"You know we'll separate eventually, right?" I held her hand. "Come outside? Let's talk."

She suddenly removed her hand from mine, so I quickly looked at her.

She avoided my gaze and walked away.

We sat on a bench at school.

"Daniel, didn't I tell you? Before we make it official, you need to separate from Kath first?"

"We'll separate eventually," I said, holding her hand again. "Just give me 1 year, Julia. I promise I'll break up with her."

"Yeah, I'll wait," she sighed. "But please, let's not be in a relationship for now. I don't want to be called a snake or a mistress," she softly said.

"I know, Julia."

"Thanks :)"

There she goes, smiling again. She looks so beautiful when she smiles. I fall in love with her even more.

Julia and I have been in an "MU" (mutual understanding) since high school. But when I was about to confess to her, my parents suddenly forced me to marry Kath. Oh well, that day was the worst day of my life -___-"

We talked about what Julia did last Sunday and also asked how things are at home with Kath. I told her it's like cats and dogs, always fighting.

While we were talking, someone suddenly shouted from the 2nd floor of the Fine Arts building.

"HEY, MR. DANIEL JOHN FORD PADILLA, YOU'RE MARRIED AND STILL FLIRTING!!!" Kath's voice.

Both Julia and I looked up.

And I saw Kath quickly hiding.

"You go ahead, Dan," Julia said, running first.

You're annoying, Kath. You're in trouble at home when I get there. I'll make sure your face gets a slap.

KATHRYN's POV

Why did I shout?

I'm so annoying. Why did I do that?

For sure, I'm in trouble with him later.

He might think I'm jealous.

As if. But wait? What excuse can I give him?

Arrgggh. Why is he flirting there so openly? He's not even ashamed, especially knowing he's married.

Lord, help me! What should I do later?

Oh no! I'm dead. Darn it.

While sitting on the floor due to my sudden stupidity, I didn't realize that our professor was already in front of me.

"Mrs. Padilla!" our Bald Sir shouted.

"Oh, bald!!!" I was surprised.

"What did you say?" Uh oh. Looks like he got mad.

"I said ghost, he he," I scratched my head.

"Get inside the room. We're having class."

I immediately stood up and went inside the room. This bald guy is annoying. He always targets me. I hate bald teachers. Hmmp.

There, he just continued with his lecture. I don't understand what he's saying. Aside from not being interested in what he's saying, I'm also thinking about what excuse I'll give to him later.

I'm dead. Looks like his head will get even bigger.

I hope he just disappears. Like, magically vanishes?

"Hey, what are you laughing about there?" Bea said, smacking me.

"Ouch, bes, that hurt," this girl's smack hurts. "Is it time to go home?" I didn't realize it was dismissal already.

"Been time, you're just spaced out."

"Hahahah! Okay, bes. I'll go first, okay? Bye!" I need to get home early. I don't want Daniel to beat me home.

But, of course, he's already there. Watching basketball again. I can't even watch SpongeBob.

When I got home, Daniel wasn't there yet. Yesss!

But there's a car parked outside.

It's Dad's car, what does Dad need now?

I quickly entered the house.

"Good pm, Dad?" I said, kissing Dad on the cheek.

"Oh, Kath, where's Daniel? Didn't you come home together?" As if we'd ever go home together. We didn't even enter school together.

"Ah no, Dad. He still has something to do, so I came home first," I put my things on the chair. "Have you eaten, Dad?"

"Yes, my child. I just came here to check if your bills are paid," he showed me the bills.

I heard Daniel's car arriving.

There he goes, being dramatic again.

"HEY KATHRYN, WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE IS THIS--" he suddenly cut himself off, "Hello, Dad. Have you been waiting long?" Right? He's quite the actor when faced with his father. The troublemaker turns into an obedient lamb.

"Dad, is there a problem between you and Kath?" Papa asked.

"Problem? None at all," he approached me and put his arm around me, "Kath and I get along well. We never argue, right, Kath?"

The trickster flashed a big smile. Truly the best actor.

"Oh, yes, Dad. Dan and I never argue. hehehe," I played along.

"Ah, okay. I thought you two were having a disagreement. You know I don't want you to fight. I'll be going now. Take care, both of you."

"Sure, Dad. Take care too," Daniel and I said.

When Papa left,

"You're really disgusting. Next time, don't let him hug you!!!" This guy is unbelievable.

"Hey, Mr. Arrogant! Did I ask you to hug me? You should be the one putting your arm around me," I shouted at him before entering the room.

"HEY, DO YOU THINK YOU FORGOT WHAT YOU DID TO ME EARLIER? I WAS EMBARRASSED IN FRONT OF JULIA," I felt his anger.

I swallowed hard.

Help, Mom.

"I don't know about you," I said, closing the door.

"YOU'LL PAY LATER!" Pay with your face.
