Chapter 3 .

He put down the phone on the chair, stood up and started walking to her direction. " What are you doing?" she stepped backward as he stepped forward.

He didn't stop walking until she was glued on the wall. Harold pressed both of his palms on the wall, trapping her in between his hands. That was the first time a guy was doing that to her and her breath nearly ceased.

" Please don't touch me, I'm not ready for this" She closed her eyes tightly and crossed her hands over her face. Her lifted up his right hand and pulled the curtain behind her aside. Adriana thought he was trying to touch her when she felt his hand moving.

" Here's the bathroom" She opened one of her eyes slowly and then the other one. When she turned around, there was a door behind her. " Is this the bathroom?" she asked but he didn't answer her.

" You Should have just tell me the bathroom is here" She scoffed. " What were you thinking? You aren't even my taste" He smirked. Adriana was pained by what he just said. Not that she liked him too, he wasn't even the type of a man she wanted.

" Hey! You just hurt my pride. Are you better than me? You are not!" she yelled at him. Unable to withstand her loud Voice, He left the living room. She heard him unlocked the door and locked it from Inside again after he had entered.

" Whoa!" she exclaimed. How does he expect her to go down the stairs whenever she want to use the bathroom? That was so inhuman. Who Build a house without bathroom closer to the rooms. Well, there was nothing she could do about it rather than accept her fate.

She Turned the handle of the door and nodded her head. The toilet was so clean and everything was working perfectly. Now , the only thing she needed were dresses. Step Mum didn't allow her to take even a needle from her room.

" What would I do now?" she looked around the living room trying to figure out a way to get some dresses. An idea came to her head, she hurried to the door and opened it. She could run away at that moment if she wanted to but there was no way she could get a cab to take her out from there.

And even if she managed to escape, she has nowhere to go. And worse, Step Mum would take her back to the house if she returns home. That Woman hated her so much but acted like she loved her when there were people around.

" Should I just run away? I can't stay with him here, I don't even know him. I don't know the type of a person he is. A normal person can't live in a place like this" Adriana was so worried. She has never visited a place such as that in her life before, she has never thought of leaving their house any time soon. And even if she would leave, she never thought it would be somewhere like that.

" I'm leaving now" She took in a Deep breathe before stepping out. Adriana made up her mind to run away from there before it get too late for her. She didn't want to fall in to something she was going to regret in the future.

But as soon as she stepped her foot outside, the wind started blowing and in no time, rain started pouring heavily. " What da!" She ran back to the house. She was surprised because the sky was clear minutes ago when they arrived. Why now that she wanted to run away?

" What are you doing there?" Came his husky voice. His voice startled her beyond recognition that she developed a goosebumps. " What was that for, can't you at least clear your throat so that I would know you are here?" She scolded him.

" You talk too much" He sighed. She watched him came down the stairs and sat down on the chair. " What's your name?" He asked her. Adriana scoffed. Wasn't he there when her step Mum called her name? Or was he trying to make a fool out of her?

" Are you kidding me?" she stepped forward. " Your name?" He repeated. " You don't know my name but you married me?" He lifted up his head and sneered. " If you aren't going to tell me, then I'll give you a name"

" Don't you dare!" she snapped at him. Who does he think he was to give her a a name? Was he trying to change the sweet name her Mum gave me? Adriana detested that a lot. She could fight with anyone who tried to Change her name or shorten it. She preferred to be call Adriana which her Mum gave her.

" Dolly..." He Grinned Mischievously " Dolly sounds great" he chuckled. Dolly? What sort of a name was that? " Do I look like a doll to you?" she questioned him. But instead of him to answer her, he threw another question at her again.

" So tell me why you agreed to marry me" He crossed his leg and locked his fingers together, looking at her. " I never agree to marry you" she Sneered . She saw him raised his brow Surprisingly.

" You never agreed to Marry me?" she nodded her head. " How do you expect me to agree to marry someone I've not even met before? Step Mum forced me" she blurted.

" Oh so she's your step Mum" He nodded his head. It all came to his head. That woman wouldn't have told the girl to marry him if she was her daughter. But how could she do that to her step daughter? Is that even legal?

" Did she force you to marry me too?" she asked hi but he ignored her and stood up from the chair.
