Chapter 5 Scrolls and Flames

A portal opened, and Caroline walked in. She was teleported to a cliff, and behind her was nothing. It was the Under-Rena; down in the cliff were creatures guilding a gate; they were the nine immortals. Caroline jumped down and landed; it was like hell. Fire and skulls were everywhere, and in front of her, nine creatures stood and watched her.

"What do you want, son of demon?" they asked in a chorus.

"I am here to unlock and free demons behind that gate, and I will give you the Dota of Sheema," she said.

"We seek nor ask anything from you; turn back and go, for we would be the last thing you see."

"I am not asking; I am commanding," she said as her hand turned green.

She threw an energy blast at them, and the blast passed through them like a breeze. Nine humans emerged from the floor; they had ancient signs on their foreheads. Two of them charged at her; she removed a blazing sword, and one of them swung his sword at her. She blocked the attack and kicked his knee. She stabbed his ears and cut off his head; another jumped up and threw his sword at her. She dodged it and cut off his leg. She raised the rest up with magic, but they weren't able to move. She turned them into green dust, and the immortals commanded the skeleton to rise back to life. They all rose up from the dead and charged at her, and she formed a large sword. using it to wipe them off.

"You have done yours; now it is time for mine," she said as demons came out from the ground.

The demons attacked the immortals and tore them apart. Caroline walked towards the gate. She put a blue sparkling box into a hole in the gate; the gate opened, and demons in bat form started flying out, they were called Eleves. The demons flew all around the place; a red skull-winged demon with a horn flew towards her. His name was Isakiva.

"Why do you free us? Who are you?"

"Your realm has been attacked and taken over; I can get you a weapon; the world has never been seen before. The equalnix, but first I want you to kill the holonite's. Then I will tell you the location of the sword," she negotiates.

"The holonite's, we can't do that."

"Not even for your realm?" She asked.

The demon agreed, and they attacked Earth.

San Francisco;

Alex and others were about to leave when they suddenly heard an alarm.

"That is the demon alarm," Mia said.

They ran to a room, and there was a large screen on the screen that detected and showed where demons were. Julie walked in with their professor, and they saw so many red dots all around the city.

"What is this?"

"I've never seen this many demons before in my life," Drizella said.

"Okay, grab your weapons; remember, we swear an oath to protect the world," the professor said.

Screaming and tomenting were all over San Francisco; the city had never experienced it before. A helicopter landed on a street, and the holonite's came from the helicopter.

"I will try to contact the others. For now, keep the city safe," the professor said with a loud voice.

They saw the demons flying around, and Isakiva noticed the holonite's arrival. He commanded all of his army to attack them.

"They are so many," Mia said.

"Ugh, fuck it. Let's save the city," Alex said.

Brook made a large housefly catcher with his magic, using it to swipe the demons into a net that Mia made out of magic. Alex swung his sword all around the place. Julie brought out her guns and started shooting the demons massively; the demons were too much for them. A while later, the Central holonite's came with so many other demon slayers.

"What is the situation here?" A lady named Castlaw, she was from the branch of the holonite's, In California. She asked Alex.

"It is the eleves; they are too much. We don't know who freed them," Alex answered.

"We can't kill them all at once, and people are dying; what do we do?" Mia added.

Three helicopters came flying around, and the Mayour car arrived.

"This is not what we agreed on. You keep my city safe, and I let you stay, but I can see you not doing your job," Mayor Mason said to the professor.

"They are about a thousand in total," an agent from the BTC said.

"These guys will take your job," Mayor Mason added.

People in the helicopter shot sonic waves at the demons, and Isakiva threw his staff at one of the helicopter blades. The helicopter exploded.

"Your weapons can hurt them," Castlaw said.

She opened a portal and threw a glowing whip into it. The portal opened everywhere in the city, and the whip tied many of them down to a spot. While Alex ran and jumped up, he rained fire on the demons. Isakiva duplicated himself, and he started spinning around Lex's head, releasing dark magic into his head. making him go psycho, Mia threw a dagger at one of his duplicates. It didn't affect Isakiva; Julie sighted him and shot her shotgun at him. The bullet penetrated through his head; he became one, and they were able to pull Alex away.

"We have to make a forcefield to cover half of the city," Julie said.

"Why?" The lady asked.

"Most of the streets have been haunted by the demons; we should protect the rest till we figure things out," Julie said.

Ten other holonites came running.

"We can't kill all of them; we need to figure out a new plan," a holonite said.

"All fine," Castlaw agreed.

The holonite's held grand together and started enchanting a prayer. As they were chanting, a forcefield was made.

HQ for the San Francisco team.

"What do we do? People are dying at the hands of these demons," Castlaw said.

"Maybe we should release the Eater upon the face of earth; the Eater will eat all the demons, then the problem will be solved," Drizella suggested.

"That is absurd," Julie opposed.

"Wait, maybe she is onto something. There is no way we kill all of them; the eater makes the job faster" Castlaw said.

"But we can't fate all of San Francisco to her idea."

"You got any ideas?" She asked.

"Um... No.... But, what about Alex?" She asked while looking at the chair in which they placed him.

She looked at him and said, "He will be fine."

"But we have to get into the dome, and how do we free him?" Mia asked.

On the full moon, he will be unleashed. They looked at the sky and saw the full moon. They would need the ball of Nightslavex, a powerful object that can unleash any mystical being.

They were able to get into the forcefield. Castlaw shot an energy blast at the floor, making a hole on the floor. Mia dropped the ball of Nightslavex into the hole, and the crystal ba shot a beam to the moon. The moon turned dark, and tentacles started coming out of the moon. A giant, round-headed monster came out of the moon with thirteen tentacles.

"Yum, Yum," it said as it saw demons flying all around the whole place.

It started eating the demons, and Isakiva flew and tried to attack it. It squished Isakiva and threw him away. Julie threw her spear at him, and he burned to ashes. The Eater ate the demons around; the city was safe and saved.

The eater started destroying buildings.

"Hey!, Your time is up. You've been fed," Castlaw said.

"But I want more," it said.

The forcefield was lifted, and the mayor walked up to Castlaw.

"Thank you, but you have to pay for the damages your little friend caused," he said.

Julie took the crystal ball, and it disappeared. Castlaw returned to California.

at the HQ.

They all sat on their various chairs, resting. Mia ran in.

"Guys come quick," she said in a worried tone.

They ran to a room where Alex was; he was shivering and murmuring. The professor checked him and found out that the dark magic Isakiva was releasing into his head had trapped him in a bad dream. And there is no way he can come out from the dream.
