Chapter 4 YOU SEEK BUT YOU WONT FIND, FATE AS ALREADY BEEN PREDETERMINED

In a subway train, Italy

Caroline remembered everything she had passed through. She looked at the cross she was holding and enchanted a spell on the cross. The cross shone immediately; the light was so bright that it obstructed everyone's view.

"What the heck!" A man said,

After a while, the light got dim. They looked in her direction, and they found out she was gone. She disappeared; an invincible train came out of the train as she cast the spell. She was on the invincible train, and on that train were demons, monsters, elves, and other creatures from other realms. The tain took her to the below world. The train stopped at a subway station, and she got off the train. The subway was wrecked and silent; a stair led out of the subway station. So I took the stairs and got out of the subway station to enter a deserted world. Demons flew all around; creatures walked around; everything was different. Sharp rocks and hills were all over the place; creatures there lived in holes and nes. She walked around the place using a map to find the god of the lower world, Tisrasik. She went deep inside the world. Finally, she found a mountain. A gigantic eye shone above the mountain. She climbed the mountain and stopped in front of the eye.

"Oh great Tisrasik, Lord of the below world, I come to you to show yourself," she said.

She heard a loud groan.

"Who dares to disturb me?".

"I am Caroline, the avatar of Rauku," she answered.

"Avatar of Rauku? Why do you come to me".

"I'm here to make a bargain, (she raised an artefact up from the AD's)". She answered.

"Rauku is not one of us anymore; his presence is worth nothing. Depart or face the consequences," Tisrasik said.

"He might not have your time, but this does. (She showed the artefact; this is the lost artefact of Rok; it holds great power," she said.

"What do you want in exchange for this?" He asked.

"The key to green".

"Chuckle, that is impossible. I can't give you that, but I can give you a scroll of nine hells," he said.

"No, I'll take it to other gods. So what they said was true," she said.

"What did they say about me?" He asked with an eager tone.

"Well, the key to the green world you hold is the only power you've got; you are the weakest among them".

She continued, "But with this, you can show your power; show them your might".

A stick with golden edges dropped from the sky into her hands while she released the artefact.

"I'll show them what I'm going to do; I will rain chaos on them".

Caroline left his presence and headed back to earth.

In San Francisco,

Alex and the others were in Van; the van was parked in front of a building.

"So this is the shrine," Mia said.

"Yes. But we have to go undercover," Alex said.

"You didn't say anything about going undercover," Brook said.

"If we don't go undercover, we can't see the worshippers of old religions".

Alex brought out red and white coats; they put them on and entered the building. The building was like a museum, but it was for idol worshippers-different idols across the world. Alex sighed softly, and they walked around the place.

"Where are we supposed to find the worshippers of Rauku?" Brook asked.

"We won't, but maybe we can find information about Rauku and his avatar from the Udahs (Udahs are people that study the old religions across the centuries)," Alex said.

They walked to a lady behind a counter pressing a computer; she had the name "Felicia". Alex walked straight to the counter and hit a bell on the counter. She raised her head and looked at Alex with a strange look; she had a cat eye. Alex was shocked by her beauty.

"Hi lady......" He said he had lost himself in her beauty.

"Hoo, hotty," Brook said.

"Don't, my friend; he is an imbecile," Alex said.

"Felicia, what is your name?" He added.

"It's Felicia; you just called my name," she answered.

Mia rolled her eyes and said, "Don't mind my friends; please, we're here to find the Udahs. Please, can you tell us where they are?".

"What's your business with them?" She asked.

"Actually, we're here to acquire information about a religion," she answered.

"That would be five thousand bucks," she said.

Alex brought out his debt card.

"Sure, baby, remove any amount you want".

The lady used the debt card on a machine and returned the card; she pointed to an elevator.

"Walk straight to that elevator; go to the third floor; you'll find them there".

They walked to the elevator, and the elevator took them straight to the third floor. The elevator door opened, and they walked into a dark room where three men in black coats were sitting.

"What do you seek?"

"We seek knowledge about the religion."Please, can you enlighten us?" Mia said.

"There is so much to know; what do you want to know?".

"Well, everything," Mia answered.

"BC's ago, a demon rose with his teachings." They started explaining.

"Wait, hold on; we already know that. Any other thing?" Mia interrupted.

"Well, he has an avatar now. His avatar is on a quest to awaken him, using a holy bone. You seek, but you won't find; fate has already been predetermined," they riddled.

"What does that mean?"

"You only need a half word; you need to make a complete word".

"Thank you, but that wasn't helpful," Mia said.

They walked out of the place. "That was a complete waste of time and money," Alex said.

"Well, thank you; Frainstain is not out of my money," Brook said.

"Where do we go now?" Alex asked.

"Home!, Let's leave this matter to you. Maybe the professor was right; let's leave godling things to the godlings," Mia said.

Mia and Brook left his presence, and he sighed disappointedly. Suddenly, a demon came out from the floor. Alex looked at the flaming demon. He tried to run to the van to get his weapon, but the demon breathed on the van, and the van exploded. They were shocked and harmless, and the demon formed an axe from its hand. It swung it in Alex's direction; Alex dodged it and threw a punch. The demon grabbed his hand and threw him away. Mia brought a wipe, while Brook formed blades out of thin air. They threw their attack at the demon, but it had little effect on it; the demon hit the floor, and the floor flipped over, pushing them away. They were down, and the demon walked close to them. A spear suddenly pierced through its chest from the back, and its head got chopped off. Julie appeared.

"Yes. I knew you would come," Alex said with an excited tone.

"Don't flatter yourself," she answered.

They stopped up and went back to the HQ.

In the HQ,

Alex rested on a chair, and their professor walked in with a girl.

"Fall in". He ordered.

They all gathered together.

"This is Drizella; she is one of us now. I want you guys to show her the way; tell her what she is supposed to know," he said.

"But sir, we can't let outsiders into our midst; she is not prepared. Besides, she is not related to any disciples; she can't join us," Julie opposed.

"It is your dedication that makes you worthy. Besides, call the shots here," he said and left.

Alex thought of what the Udahs said: "You seek, but you won't find; fate has already been predetermined." He was thinking over and over again, and he murmured it out.

"What could it mean?"

"What?" The girl asked.

"You seek, but you won't find fate, as it has already been predetermined," he said.

She thought of it: "The only place where everyone's fate is determined is a place called Green Land."Everyone's story has been rewritten down".

"Maybe if we go there, we will find something about this Rauku avatar".

He stood up in a hurry and turned to his friends.

"Guys, I know where to go. Thanks, Drizella. We need to head to the green land and find out who this Rauku avatar is," he said.

"The professor said enough of going out late and also leaving godly things to the gods," Julie said.

"This is our job".

"Where are we supposed to find the map to the green land?" Mia asked.

"We would find it," he answered.

Caroline was on the train, and Rauku appeared in the mirror.

"They are on to you; unlock the twelve gates of the demon. Their attention will be shifted," he said.

"Don't worry, the gates will be opened".
