Chapter 3 3

This is their first day as a husband and wife. Regulus woke up early to cook something for them to eat. He knows that he doesn't know how to cook a heavy breakfast yet, so he will make it first. He prefers a heavy breakfast so he has the energy to work.

he got up and went to the bathroom to do his morning routine. After he did it, he went straight out of the room. He went down the stairs and went straight to the kitchen but he was surprised to see Vien there.

He caught the woman cooking. it looked like it was still struggling and it didn't even notice his presence. He looked behind her.

"Not bad," he said in his mind.

Its body is beautiful. Vien has a firm butt and a curvy body. It also has long loose straight hair. He swallowed. he just noticed it now. It's been a long time since they last met. Vien is still thin and not in good shape. He just sighed. He couldn't blame Vien for their parents' wishes, that's just the case. he noticed that the woman who was about to get married didn't seem to care when they met to announce their marriage.

That's what Regulus was wondering about. He thought that Vien would not like what their parents wanted to happen but he just kept quiet. he didn't even hear an objection. Vien was just bowing while their parents were talking about the wedding that was going to happen while she was like a volcano about to explode with so much annoyance and anger.

"H-Hi?"

Regulus returned to reality after hearing Vien's voice not far away. he looked at her face. He grimaced when he saw her but later he gave her a smile. She's indeed gorgeous while smiling. She has a small mole under her right eye.

"D-Do you want u-uh coffee?" it stuttered to him. Regulus couldn't answer, he just looked at the woman's face. He didn't think that his friend who was thin and always had bangs would be such a beautiful man. It doesn't matter.

The woman lost her smile and came closer to him. "Hey!" Regulus was brought back to reality when Vien clapped in front of him. He didn't realize it was getting close.

"What happened to you?" its two eyebrows met.

"N-Nothing," he stammered now and looked away. he went to the kitchen and his eyes widened because the hot dog that was being cooked was about to catch fire.

Regulus quickly turned off the stove and put the pan aside. He frowned and faced Vien who was bowing. It is like a child who has committed a sin. "I.. I'm sorry," Vien said softly.

Regulus looked at Vien's hand that he was hiding behind his back. He frowned even more and came closer to Vien. He took his wife's hand and he seemed surprised by what he did but he ignored it. He saw the small wound on her index finger. it's still fresh because of the blood coming out of it. He looked up while still frowning.

"What happened to this?" asked Regulus.

"N-I just cut it," Vien answered with a bow.

"Because you weren't careful." the tone of Regulus' speech was hostile. he was about to pull Vien to treat his wound but he quickly grabbed Vien's hand.

"Don't mind me. It's just small. You still have school, eat first." said the woman before leaving and heading back to the kitchen.

"A-Ah, by the way Regulus. I'm going to the Mall later. I'm just going to buy something," said Vien. Regulus didn't answer. He's just staring at his wife. After a while he turned around again.

"I would like to take you in case you are coming in," Vien's voice weakened a bit when he said that.

"So I'll go with Lantsov. Kat can't because her schedule is busy this week," Vien added, which surprised Regulus. He put the rice he had cooked in the dining room.

"Is that okay with you?" Vien asked before sitting in front of her husband. "Yes, but know your limitations," Regulus answered gruffly before scooping up some rice. Vien didn't say anything but she was smiling. Regulus looked at what his wife had cooked. This is the hot dog that was just a little burnt. He secretly shook his head.

"Can't I disturb you and your wife?" Lantsov asked smiling as he sat in the backseat of Regulus' car. Vien looked at him and smiled.

"Not really. Right Regulus?" Vien turned to Regulus who glanced at Lantsov from the car mirror.

"No." Regulus answered briefly. Lantsov had just arrived and Regulus was about to leave for work. Vien wanted to go with Lantsov but Regulus insisted. So it happened, Vien and Lantsov will accompany Regulus. Lantsov didn't want to be left behind even though he had his own car.

"That's good. Isn't it Vienna?" Lantsov teased.

He is Vien's friend who is a strong tease but knows the word limit. The man knew that he and Regulus were married. because Lantsov was one of the witnesses at their wedding. Regulus' two eyebrows almost met because of what Lantsov said and Vien noticed that. He quickly grabbed Regulus' arm.

He still knows the man. Bend it and when bent it will be angry. Regulus turned to him. "What?" asked Regulus. Vien just smiled and looked back at Lantsov.

"Stop it. Are you crazy?" Vien asked annoyed. He heard Regulus tch but ignored it. Lantsov's grin widened. he kissed his own palm and touched it to Vien's cheek. The woman was surprised by what Lantsov did. He did not recover immediately. Suddenly, the vehicle they were riding in started moving fast.

"HEY! G-GO!" cried Lantsov. He looked at the traffic lights, it was a go sign. Vien swallowed several times while closing his eyes and tightly holding his pouch.

They only got to the Mall quickly because of Regulus' operation. Vien's knees were getting weak when they arrived. Even Lantsov's heart was still beating strong.

Vien went down without saying a word and Regulus and Lantsov noticed that. Lantsov looked at Regulus. Regulus' face was serious. "What do you think you did?" raised Lantsov's question to Regulus.

"What?" Regulus asked coldly. Lantsov took a deep breath.

"Bud, it's Vien. He doesn't like fast cars. He was traumatized when we were in college. He almost died because of that. Don't you know?" said Lantsov. Regulus looked away. He followed Vien's gaze. It is sitting on the mini bench outside the Mall. it is held by its heart.

"Now that you know, next time you should slow down. Take care, buddy. I hope we can be friends soon. Bye!" Lantsov said happily before finally leaving to follow Vien.

Regulus looked after Lantsov. He talked to Vien for a while before they went inside. Lantsov held Vien's elbow as they entered.

"Are they really friends?" Regulus asked out of nowhere. He couldn't believe what he saw earlier. He just shook his head before turning the steering wheel and leaving.

"Vienna, do you want chocolate?"

Vien turned to Lantsov and saw that he was looking at the chocolates on display. He approached the man holding the small paper bag.

"Okay, but you're free..." he said to Lantsov with a smile. Lantsov laughed softly before looking at Vien. "Sure, no!" Lantsov replied with a smile. It noticed what Vien was carrying.

"Is that all you bought?" asked Lantsov. Vien looked at what she was holding for a moment before looking back at the man.

"Yes.I just lack my essentials," Vien said while smiling. Lantsov just nodded. He took three chocolate bars and different brands before putting them in the cart. "Wait, are you serious?" asked in shock Vien here.Lantsov nodded while raising both eyebrows. Vien just shook his head.

They are here inside the Mall. He first went to Watsons before he went to Lantsov who was inside a stall full of sweets. He is feeling quite well. he didn't say goodbye to Regulus because of the annoyance and fear he felt. He hates and is afraid when the car is going fast. He didn't want to because that was the reason why he almost died when they were in college on a field trip. It gave her trauma.

they are almost finished shopping. Lantsov was holding a basket with only sweets. Kat would have been with her because that friend of hers was busy. They say they have a family gathering so they can't be with Vien.

"Come on. Let's pay for it.?" Lantsov said before looking back at Vien. Vien just nodded and walked first. Lantsov was just behind him while still looking at the displays. When they reached the counter. It's also quick because there aren't too many people.

after putting everything they bought in a paper bag, they went out immediately. Just as they were about to leave, Vien's cell phone rang. He took it and frowned because it was an unregistered number but eventually he answered anyway.

"Hello?" frowned when he asked.

"Vien," he was surprised to hear Regulus' familiar voice. He looked at the caller again but it was actually an unregistered number. He wondered how he got her number.

"H-Hey, Regulus. How are you? P-How did you get my number?" Vien asked his wife. The other was silent for a few seconds.

"Don't mind it. Can you go here at my company?"

Vien frowned even more. he suddenly remembered that he was upset with this man earlier but he didn't know how to hold a grudge so he just didn't have it. "And why? Did you need or forget something at home?" Vien asked calmly.

The other line went silent again. He was about to speak again but was cut off. "Hey, Vien. Why did you leave me?" he looked at Lantsov with a snort as he held up a rather small paper bag with just a few purchases. Vien laughed because of its appearance. before he could return his attention to his cellphone, the call was lost.

He looked at his wife's number before shrugging.
