Chapter 4 Ashton VS Jason

Jaya POV

"What's your plan?" I looked at my friend and then looked at Jermaniah.

"Baby, play with the toys first." I said to Niah and pointed to her toys.

My son is good and obedient so he went there and played. I looked back at my friend Klea and smiled bitterly.

"My plan? I don't want to tell Jason the truth, I don't want my son to know about Jason either. I also don't want Ashton to know about the father and son's income." My answer.

"But Jaya, we know that there is no secret that cannot be revealed." He said that made me gasp.

"If there's no secret that hasn't been revealed, why hasn't the killer of my grandfather been caught? Why are they still free, Jason?" I asked and he sighed.

"Jaya, I'm not on Jason's side, but Jaya, I know you love---"

"I don't love him." I cut off what he had to say.

"Okay, I know you loved Jason. You know that too, maybe now there is even a little bit--"

"How did you say so?" I will ask.

"Because if you don't love him anymore, you should have filed a case against his family and him before." He said so I stopped and looked at him.

"I'll do that too." I said.

"I was just scared at first because I was afraid Jason and I would see me, but now he saw me. I'm going to file a case against him and his family." I said coldly.

"But Jaya, that accident took too long--"

"It's not an accident Klea, it's cremen." I said.

"It might not be valid if you file a lawsuit." He said that made me laugh.

"I won't stop until I get justice for my grandfather's death, one more.... One of those who shot my grandfather escaped, so I will find whoever it is and make sure they pay." I said then looked up. To Niah.

"What about Jermaniah? Where is your daughter Jaya? It won't take long for her to know the truth." Klea said so I held my breath.

"By the time everyone knows the truth. I'm making sure we no longer have any connection with Jason and we're far away from him." I said then looked at Klea.

Jason POV

"Ashton." I called the man with his back to me, he slowly faced me and when he faced me, my fist immediately landed on his face.

"That's because you distanced yourself from Jaya" I said, she looked at me.

"And this is for ruining my dream." I said and landed my fist on his face again.

My tears immediately fell as I pulled his collar.

"You stole everything from me! You took Jaya from me! And you stole my happy dreams!" I screamed.

"I didn't steal Jaya from you! If it wasn't for your family she wouldn't have gone away from you! Your father killed Jaya's grandfather!" He screamed causing me to punch him again.

"BUT THAT IS NOT A ENOUGH REASON TO TAKE THE WOMAN I LOVE FROM ME!" I shouted and grabbed his collar again.

"Tell me.... Why... Why did you steal Jaya from me?.... What did I do wrong to you to do that?" I will ask.

He released my grip on his collar and pushed me.

"I don't have it but Jaya has it." He said then stood up.

"I still have respect for you, Mr. President, so I will let this happen." He said and turned away.

"Tell me.... That child.... Is that your daughter and Jaya?" When I weakly asked the reason for him to stop.

He slowly faced me.

"Did you see Jaya and Niah?" He asked.

"ANSWER ME!" I screamed.

He stared at me coldly.

"Yes, he is Jaya's son. He is from me." He said it made me even more weak and depressed.
