Chapter 2 Sunshine

Jaya POV

I immediately went out and closed the door so they couldn't see Ashton talking to me.

"I'll go to school first." My cousin said and entered then closed the door.

I coldly stared at Jason who was smiling and had tears in his eyes.

"Sunshine..."

"What are you doing here?" I asked coldly.

"Sunshine I miss you." He was about to come close to me to hug me when I blocked my hand.

"Don't come any closer." I said seriously then lowered my hand.

"Sunshine." He said sadly then took a deep breath.

"Get out." I said then he was about to turn away when he held my hand causing me to feel a hundred volts of electricity run through my whole body.

Suddenly my heart beat very fast but it also felt like it was being crushed and crushed.

"Sunshine... I've been looking for you for a long time, and now I'm in front of you. I'm not going to let you go again." He said so I faced him and withdrew my hand from him.

"Four years have passed Sunshine..." I stopped when he said a word.

"Four years have passed but you still don't hear my explanation. Jaya, I know you hate me and my entire family because of what my father did to your grandfather but... Can't we just accept the truth? Can you forgive us?" He asked causing me to laugh.

"What did you say Jason?" I asked and crossed my arms then closed my eyes and slapped him.

"Accept the truth? What? That your father killed my grandfather? That you are the reason why my grandfather died? The reason why my father was imprisoned for no crime? That you are the reason why we lost everyone?! Jason, we didn't do anything wrong to your family! We didn't do anything wrong for you to kill my grandfather like that!" I screamed and my tears flowed.

"He only did what he was supposed to do as president and then you! You and your clan are going to kill him because your father wants the position as the president of the Philippines! Come on, what did your father do to be sane? What? Almost corruption and poverty started in his term!" I screamed.

"Jaya, don't belittle what my father has done for the country." Jason said sadly so I laughed.

"Why? Isn't it true Jason? Isn't everything I said true? Mr. President?" I will ask.

He was silent.

That's right, he is the president of the Philippines again.

He managed the country so well then that he was again appointed as the President of the Philippines.

"Jaya... Is it really like that? Can you really not forgive me? Can you really not forgive my family?" he asked sadly.

I was about to open the door when he spoke.
