Chapter 3 First Meet

Jaya POV

I sighed as I looked at Jermaniah who was playing on the floor.

"Hon, I'm leaving first because I have a meeting with a client." I looked at Ashton adjusting his tie. I stood on the sofa and approached him and I was the one to fix his tie.

"Sure bro, be careful." I said and when his tie was fixed I looked at him then smiled and kissed him on the lips.

"Daddy, where are you going?" We looked at Jermaniah who was on our side.

"Daddy just work, baby, be a good girl to Mommy, take care of her." Ashton said and ruffled Jermaniah's hair with a smile.

"I will daddy, take care." Jermaniah said and kissed Ashton on the cheek.

"Daddy don't forget the greeting." Jermaniah smiled at Ashton.

"Sure baby." Ashton said.

"Don't forget not to be greeted with Chocolate." My groin made Jermaniah look at me.

"But mom--"

"Shh chocolate is not allowed because it's only for mommy." Ashton said and laughed.

I shook my head then loaded Jermaniah.

"We'll take you to the gate." I said and held Ashton's hand then walked towards the gate.

"Daddy be careful!" Jermaniah said with a smile.

"Sure baby for you." Ashton said.

"Hmm check your phone, Jermaniah and I will call you tomorrow at 12." I said and Ashton nodded.

I kissed him again on the lips before he got into his car and drove off.

"Baby!" Jermaniah said while waving at Ashton's car. When Ashton's car was out of sight, I put Jermaniah down and then sat down to match him.

"Let's go? You're going to take a shower, you already stink." I will tease you.

"You stink more mommy hahaha." He said then ran inside.

"Careful Jermaniah you might trip!" I disobeyed and turned around and was about to enter to say something.

"Sunshine." I stopped and slowly looked at the speaker.

Jason.

Did he see Jermaniah?

I hope not.

"What are you doing here?" I will ask.

He has flowers.

"I'm here to seduce you. This is for you." He said and held out the flower he was holding. I laughed.

"No one is dead here so keep your flowers." I said and turned around.

"Sunshine wait." He stopped so I looked at him annoyed.

"Go away Jason, didn't I tell you yesterday that you won't get anything?" I said irritated.

"But I also said yesterday that I will obey you until you forgive me." He said that made me laugh.

"I can't forgive you Jason, you and your family." I said turning back.

"The boy..." I was stunned by what he said.

He saw Jermaniah.

"What do you think of him?" He asked so I turned to him again.

"You don't care." I then said he was tortured.

"Is he your son?" He asked, making me laugh.

"Yes, he's my son. He's my son with Ashton." I answered and saw how depressed he was. Sadness filled his eyes but he kept smiling.

"We're happy, so don't bother. Just leave us alone and don't show up. We don't need you." I said turning back again.

"If our son is alive, maybe he will be that big." I was stunned by what he said. My heart almost broke when he said that.

I clenched my fist and closed my eyes to stop my tears. I stayed with my back to him.

"Maybe if he's still alive and our relationship is fine and you're still with me, maybe the three of us will be happy." He says. This time my tears flowed.

How many times have I cried?

Stop.

"She is very beautiful, Jaya, it's yours" he said so I turned to face him and my heart almost broke when I saw him crying.

Why will I be hurt? Why am I hurt? That should be his fault. His tears are not enough for what his family did to my family.

Sorry Jaya, that's just an effect, don't send it.

"Mommy." I was stunned and stiffened when I heard Jermaniah's voice behind me. I saw Jason peeking at Jermaniah and Ngumi.

I felt Jermaniah hold my leg so I bent down and picked him up.

"Hi beautiful baby girl." Jason said with a smile to Jermaniah. Jermaniah smiled at Jason causing my heart to melt.

They don't even know that they are father.

"Hello, who are you?" Jermaniah asked Jason.

Jason was about to speak when I preceded him.

"Baby, he's a stranger." I answered then looked at Jason and saw that he was hurt by what I said but I ignored it.

"Remember what I said? Don't talk to strangers." I said then turned my back on Jason and continued to enter the house then closed and locked the door.

I took a deep breath and tried to face Jermaniah with a smile.

"Don't mind him okay?" I said so Jermaniah nodded.
