Chapter 5 Part 5

"Yo-you?"

Lily had just woken up and was quite surprised to see Erlan. Lily tried to leave, but by Erlan.

"Set... calm down, don't be afraid of me. I won't hurt you," Erlan whispered into Lily's ear.

Lily's body trembled, fear running through her body.

"Don't do this, please don't do this to me again." She pleaded, tears already streaming down Lily's face.

"No... I won't, as long as you do everything I say. And stop doing stupid things, I don't like it."

"I can't guarantee your parents' safety if something bad happens to you, so this is the last warning."

"What do you want? Why are you suddenly coming into my life and ruining my happiness?" Lily asked in a high tone, trying to look strong.

"I just want you to be the mother of my children. Do you understand that?"

"No! I don't want that. I'd rather die than stay and live with a rotten man like you!"

"That's not a request, it's an order. And if you refuse my order, I can't guarantee your parents' safety." Erlan threatened again.

"Fine, I won't do it. Now get out of here!"

Lily threw everything she could reach. And who knows what hit Erlan's temple and scratched him?

Hans, who heard the commotion, rushed in. Hans was shocked to see the mess Lily had made.

"Sir, what happened? And... oh my, Mr Erlan's head is bleeding." Hans quickly took Erlan away.

"I'll help you call a doctor."

Erlan raised his hand.

"No need, it's just a small wound. I can take care of it myself. You'd better take care of this mess."

"Yes, sir, and should I order my men to teach this woman a lesson?"

Erlan glared at Hans.

"Don't you dare touch my future wife!" Erlan gripped Hans' shirt collar so tightly that he could barely breathe. "If you do, I'll break both your hands!" He released his grip roughly, causing Hans to push back hard.

"I'm sorry, sir. I promise I won't do it," Hans' face looked terrified. He looked down, not daring to look at Erlan's face, now staring back at him.

"Now do what I say, don't just stay here!".

"Yes sir, you'll have to excuse me."

Lily regained her composure, and her parents, Aditya and Anetta, gathered in Lily's treatment room.

They were pretty panicked when they heard what happened to Lily.

"I advise you not to leave the patient alone as it is quite dangerous for her safety." Dr Word asserted.

"I can't guarantee that something bad won't happen if this happens again, so I emphasise that the patient must be accompanied for twenty-four hours until her mental state has stabilised."

Lily's parents feel just as guilty as do Aditya and Anetta.

"Forgive me, Doc. I'm Lalay. I will continue to take care of her." Renata said between her tears.

"Well, I hope you keep your promise. And for now, her condition has improved and can be outpatient if this incident does not happen again."

Renata was relieved to hear that.

"Then, I will excuse myself." The doctor said goodbye.

Renata wiped the tears on her face, feeling relieved to hear the good news from the doctor. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.

"Thank you, Doc. I am very grateful for all the care and attention that has been given to Lily," Renata said gratefully.

The doctor gave a light smile, "No need to thank you. I'm just doing my job. The most important thing now is to make sure that Lily gets enough support and attention from her family and friends. Everyone must work together to keep this kind of incident from happening again."

Renata nodded in agreement, "I completely agree, Doc. We will do our best for Lily. Thank you again."

The doctor left the room with one last piece of advice, and Renata returned to sit by Lily's bedside. She took her daughter's hand with great tenderness.

"Never mind, child. Everything will be okay. Mama's here for you," Renata said as she smiled gently at Lily, trying to provide warmth and reassurance to her frail daughter.

Chapter 6

It had been a week since Lily. Her condition has improved significantly, but she still refuses to see anyone, including Aditya, except her parents and Anette, her friend whom she wants to see. Currently, Lily is with Anette in her room. As a friend, Anette is very concerned about Lily's condition.

"Lily, do you still not want to tell me?" Anette asked in a low tone, trying not to offend Lily.

Lily, who had been staring at the window, turned to Anette sitting next to her.

"Lily, I'm your best friend, if you have any problems tell me, maybe I can help you." Anette said as she gently rubbed Lily's back.

Lily cried as she hugged Anetta.

"He raped me, Anetta. I hate him." Lily's cries sounded very heartbreaking. It made Anetta unable to hold back her tears.

Anette sighed and tried to hold back her shock. "Who is he, Lily? Aditya? "

Lily shook her head quickly. "No, this guy, I don't know what his name is, he kidnapped me and then he..." Lily stopped, unable to continue her sentence.

"Okay, I got it. You don't need to continue. The most important thing now is that you move on with your life, don't be afraid and don't feel guilty. It's not your fault." Anette released her embrace, hugging Lily again.

Anette hugged Lily tightly, trying to provide as much support as possible. "Lily, you are very strong and I am here for you. We can seek help together and make sure that this person faces the law. You are not alone in facing this."

Lily cried into her shoulder, feeling the warmth of her friend. "I'm scared, Anette. I don't know what to do. Everything is so horrible."

Anette released her embrace and looked Lily firmly in the eyes. "You're not alone, Lily. We can get through this together. First of all, we should report this incident to the police. They will help us take this seriously."

Lily nodded in agreement, though her expression remained apprehensive. "I am uncertain of my ability to handle this situation."

Anette smiled gently. "You are stronger than you think, Lily. And I will be with you every step of the way. Besides, we can seek support from mental health experts and organisations that help victims of sexual violence. They will help us navigate through all of this."

Lily tried to smile, feeling some relief from Anette's words. "Thank you, Anette. I don't know what I would have done without you."

Anette smiled back. "There's no need to thank me. We are friends, and we will support each other. let let's start by reporting to the police and seeking professional help. We can do this together, Lily."
