Chapter 5: I Want Her

After a few hours of working, I looked at the time, it was almost seven which means I need to go home and change. Freddie is nothing but punctual when we are going to Mamas Cass. If only he was like that all the time, it would have been much better. I turned everything off and put my laptop in the safe.

"Mr, Black, leaving for the day?" My secretary asked as I exited my office.

"Yes, Eva."

"Would you be needing anything?" She flirts as the words come out of her mouth. She doesn't understand that the redhead isn't my thigh.

"No," I was cold and short.

I need to make sure she understands that she means nothing more than my employee. I got to my mansion and changed into some fixable before Freddie arrived.

"You look hot, I thought you didn't want to go to Mamas Cass." I was wearing my tailored black suit.

"I always dress like this."

"I am not sure but I can smell your cologne here. Someone is trying to get up late tonight."

"Like I need to try?"

"Just leave some for me."

We walked outside where the cars were waiting for me. I didn't care for extra security but Freddie is going on and on about people targeting me. I entertain him because it is better than listening to him. It doesn't take long for us to get to the restaurant.

As we pulled up, I could see that the restaurant was crowded tonight. It is the place where the college students come to eat. It is more of a bar than a restaurant.

"He should be in the back, his new wife, son and daughter are with him."

"I always forget he had a daughter."

We got out of the car, no one knows much about Dante's daughter. She is kept out of sight and heavily guarded.

"Yes, I think she is living alone now. She studies at Landmark University, what I know for sure is that she is not a part of the business."

I walked to the entrance of the restaurant where dozens of people were struggling to get in. Everyone moved aside, paving the way for me to enter. Freddie was talking to the hostess as I looked towards the back where Dante was sitting. Just like Freddie had said, the trophy wife, Louis and his daughter are with him. My eyes stopped at her.

Goodness, she isn't what I was expecting, her eyes are the shade of the sky with blonde hair and I got hard instantly. She is the kind of woman I want to claim daily. I kept my women in a different apartment down the City but someone like her is what I would bring home. She doesn't need to stand for me to know she is perfect.

"Are you going to stand there and just stare?" I ignored Freddie and started walking, the closer I got, the more I wanted her.

When I got to their table, I exchanged words with her father but I wasn't concentrating. My attention was on her, the way she looks at me with hunger. I can tell she was freaking deep down inside, I would have punished her right now if she looked at a man like she was looking at me. Dante says a few words, the man thinks he can threaten me and get away with it.

"There are a lot of wolves out in the world and you have plenty of prey surrounding you." I muttered, he stood up and dragged her out.

"Are you threatening me?"

"I don't do threats, it is a fact. Stay away from my business, this is the only time I will warn you."

We will see about that."

"We shall," I added, looking as his daughter was dragged out. I turned on my heels and started walking out of the restaurant, my point was made.

"Are you aware of what you just did right now?" Freddie said as we were out of earshot.

"I want to know everything about his daughter."

"What?" I stopped and looked at him.

"I want all the information about her by tonight." I ordered.

I want her and she will be mine at all costs.

Camilla Pov.

"You have to be kidding me, let me go now!" I yelled at one of my father's men.

"Miss, Gilbert, we need to get you out of here now."

"I don't understand what is the rush or the reason, I demand to know."

What I want now is to go back and look at my mystery man once more. I wasn't ready for the spell to break, I could tell that he wasn't ready for me to be taken away either.

"I will take her home." I turned to see Louis walking towards me.

Thank goodness, I pull my arms back, forcing the man to let me go.

"But sir," the man started.

"It wasn't a suggestion, come on."

He took my hand and we started walking like when we were children. He only let my hand go when we were in front of his car and I saw worries on his face.

"What the hell is going on? Who was that man?"

I don't care what is going on in the family business, I just wanted to know who that man is. But I can't exactly ask Louis without raising suspicion.

"That is Carlos Black, he is the head of Dook of Doom. He has been trying to take over our territory for some time now, he proposed some kind of deal, I am not quite sure of. But you know how father is, he wouldn't give him the time or day."

"What the hell is Dook of Doom?" He laughed as we entered the car.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I forgot how naive you can be at times. It is the mafia brotherhood."

"I am getting a headache, so another thug."

Instantly, my interest in the man suddenly disappeared but that isn't exactly the truth since the thought of him staring at me arouses me. I find myself closing my legs tight and isn't even here.

"Just stay clear of him and you will be fine. It was weird seeing him at the restaurant since he had never been there before and it is our territory."

"I don't have any interest in any of that or him, so your warning is pointless."

We drove in since, I think my brother is thinking about how bad things went tonight. I wished I could make things good for him, he is such a good brother but I wasn't lying when I said I wanted nothing to do with the family business. It is a drama I don't want or need in my life, I might be a Gilbert but it is not the life I wanted. It didn't take long for us to get to my apartment.

"I am sorry tonight didn't go as planned."

"It is nothing new, I will see what I can do about you going away for a day but like I said before I can't promise anything."

"It is okay, it seems the tension is high now. Maybe I can do it another weekend." He took my hand.

"I know you don't want anything to do with the family business, I get it. But it doesn't change the face that you are a part of the family and you need to remember that. It might come handy someday."

His words scared me, it is like he knows something I didn't and I wondered it could be.
