It is the same news everyday. I have been in Kumon city for five years and I am still dealing with Gilbert Dante. He is the leader of Vegas Blaster mafia.

At first, we both kept to our corners, Kumon is big enough for both of us which is why I don't understand what his deal is. The man is close to fifty and to be honest, he should be retiring. I looked up when Freddie walked into my office. His body is telling me it isn't for good news.

"What now? Every time you come here lately is only to tell me bad news."

"It is not like I want to."

Freddie is my cousin, we have been like brothers since children. He is my second in command, I trust him with my life.

"Spit it out."

"There is evidence that suggests that Gilbert Dante is going to try and intercept the shipment."

"He is an old-timer with a god complex. What do you expect?"

"I expect honor among thieves."

"He isn't like you, life revolves around him and he wants to control everything." He took a seat.

"Tough luck, this isn't the nineties. The street game has changed, he needs to get with the program."

"What do you want to do now?"

"I want to see how far he is willing to go."

"You are just falling into his trap."

"No, I'm making a point. I want him to try, it is just going to give me the excuse I have been waiting for to push him out of the game."

"How about his son? I think he seems reasonable."

"He is but from our conversation, I am not sure Gilbert is going to give him the reins. There is something odd about their relationship, while my father groomed me to take over, Gilbert seems to be pushing Louis away."

"It is a shame if you ask me, I could see us building a business relationship with him."

"Trust me I know but you know the game."

"Should I take precautions with the shipment?" He asked.

"What is in it?"

"Three hundred thousand worth of weapons."

"How is it coming?"

"It is coming through water, we want the air to cool off."

"Split it, if he is going to intercept, it might as well be only half. Raphael just needs half the shipment to keep him happy."

"That will do, on another note, I was thinking we could go to Mama Cass. It has been a while since we visited the place."

"I am not in the mood."

"When was the last time you went there? Let me think." He was silent for a moment.

"I know, because of Anna, right?"

Anna was my last woman, she was a good submissive. She followed orders, she did everything to please me and I enjoyed it. She has been the longest I have had in the last decade but it is getting stale and she wanted more. She wanted a home, a ring and children. I put her out before she could fulfill her goal and brought my downfall.

"I need a break from that place."

"You need a new girl so you can't be cranky anymore."

"Cranky? Really? What are you?" I shook my head.

"I am stating the facts, don't bark at me because I am telling you the truth."

"How about you go do your job while I do mine."

"If you change your mind, I will be leaving at eight. They are having some kind of event tonight."

"Get out!"

"You are such an asshole." He was laughing out loud.

"I never pretended to be anything else." I can't help but laugh.

I went back looking at my emails, who thought that despite the empire I run, my legitimate business is profiting as well. I think this is the reason why Gilbert Dante wants to disrupt my business. Mamas Cass has been my latest acquisition which words on the street he wanted. I wasn't looking to expand but bdsm societies are becoming popular. Who am I to deny people what they want considering it is a lifestyle I enjoy. My phone buzzed beside me and it was from Freddie.

'Dante will be at his usual place, you need to pass by and show him you mean business. He just tried intercepting the shipment.'

This is the rubbish I am talking about, the man is trying to start something he isn't going to be able to finish or even handle. I am not the type of man who wants to start something but at the same point, enough is enough. I don't have time to play games.

'It is a go, meet me at eight. We can get drinks after.'

'Mamas Cass is the best place.'

'Grow up, Freddie.' I shook my head as if he could see me.

I was about to go back looking at my emails again when my phone started ringing. It was like everyone decided not to let me work. The screen read, Esther, my baby sister.

"Hello, sister." I greeted as soon as I picked up the call.

"Hi, big brother. How are you?"

"What do you want?" I teased.

"Is that any way to greet your favorite sister?"

"The last I checked, you are my only sister." I laughed.

"Orange and apples." She giggled, that has been our childhood code.

"How are you?"

I have been raising her ever since I was nineteen. Our mother died of breast cancer and my father wasn't fit to even raise a cow. She has been my whole world.

"I am fine, same as always. I am actually calling because I wanted to know if it is okay for me and some of my friends to use the beach house next week."

As long as you take David with you."

"Come on, brother. I don't need a babysitter. I am twenty now."

"You are particularly a child to me."

"You are being unfair." I can hear her pout over the phone.

"I am keeping you safe, you know that."

"My friends already think I am weird." She sniffed through the phone.

"Your friends don't have to worry about anything other than the next party but if you want to go....."

"Fine, I will let the girls know that my brother is a control freak." I chuckled.

"Dinner on Sunday, don't forget it."

"I will be there like always since I moved out."

"Behave, I love you too." I ended the call.

My sister fails to realize how hard it is for me to let her live on her own. I have too many enemies who won't hesitate to use her against me. If something were to happen to her because of me, I just won't put myself in that situation. It makes me angry just thinking about it.
