Chapter 4 Accidents

Renata sat on the side of the pool with both feet inserted into the pool. He smiled, looking up at the dark night sky. His mind raced back to the events of the past few hours. She kisses Bastian, the man who has been filling her heart and mind lately. He was really made to float and thump by Bastian. Unknowingly, his lips curled into a smile when he remembered that incident.

"Rena, who were you with earlier?" Someone's firm question made Renata wake up from her reverie. He turned his head and saw Dave standing not far from him. Renata rushed to pull her legs out of the pool and stand facing Dave.

"Father?"

"Dad asked, who are you between?" asked Dave with a sharp look.

Renata rarely saw a look like her father's, unless he made a mistake.

"With Doctor Bastian," Renata answered honestly.

"Who is Doctor Bastian?" he asked.

"My mentor," Renata answered.

"How close are you two?" he asked.

"We are not close; we are limited to mentors and guidance children," said Renata.

"Is that true?"

"Father can investigate if you don't believe it," said Renata.

"Never get close to him," Dave said, making Renata look at her father with a frown on her forehead.

"Why?"

"Just listen to what Father said. You better keep your distance from him." After saying that, Dave walked away, leaving Renata in confusion.

This weekend, Renata went with Novita to attend a high school reunion at a nightclub in Jakarta. Currently, Renata is wearing a sleeveless dress that is quite open and covered by her black leather jacket, as well as black boots.

He only asked Agneta's permission, not Dave's, for fear that his father would forbid him to go. Renata quietly left the house and headed for Novita's car, which had picked her up.

Today they are on holiday, and that keeps Renata from meeting Bastian.

When he arrived at the club, Renata greeted all his friends who were having a party. Until a man walked up to him.

"Long time no see, Rena," said a man, making Renata freeze in place.

"Leo?" muttered Renata to the man in front of her. Leo was a friend in high school; they dated for a good month and had to end it because Renata moved to London and studied there.

"You look even prettier," Leo praised, making Renata smile a little.

"Thank You. I have to say hello to another friend," Renata said, leaving Leo, who kept staring at her.

Renata, who has a cheerful and humble nature, is not difficult to find someone to talk to. He always had many friends and acquaintances.

They enjoyed the party that night, dancing together and drinking alcohol, and so did Renata, who was not left behind.

The night was getting late, and they began to disperse. Renata already looked so drunk, and she fell asleep.

"Rena, please wake up. Let's go home," said Novita, who was also drunk.

"You go home, Novita," said Leo, who approached them.

"I went with him; I have to go home with him too," said Novita.

"You're already drunk, and you can't handle it even if you're unconscious," said Leo.

"Are you sure you can walk him home?" asked Nova.

Yes, I am sure. You know, I still love her," Leo said, looking at Renata with a sad look.

"Okay. I'm going home, and I'll call you right away when I get there. I hope you deliver him to his home safely."

"Okay."

Novita walked away, leaving Leo and Renata there. Leo walked over to Renata. He sat snuggled in front of Renata, who was sitting on a chair and leaning his head on the table.

Leo stared at Renata's very beautiful face. His hand reached out to smooth the hair that covered his face.

"Why did you choose to leave me then? Is it because our family status is so different? You know, I was devastated here after you left," Leo muttered with a sad look.

After that, Leo got up from his sitting position and took Renata in his arms. He took Renata out of the club and put her in his car. He was about to get into his car, but someone hit him on the back of his neck until his body collapsed and he lost consciousness. The man who had just hit Leo on the back of the head watched him left and right, afraid that someone might be watching. After that, he put the baseball contact in Leo's car. The man was wearing a black hat and black gloves.

The man walked to the passenger door and opened the door where Renata was sleeping.

Really, a kid, there's no need to worry about wearing clothes like this to the club," muttered the man, who was none other than Bastian.

Bastian took Renata into his arms. He rushed to his car and laid Renata there. After that, he climbed into the car and stepped on the gas to leave the area.

"Um, my head," Renata muttered, holding her forehead, which felt heavy and sore.

Renata gradually got up from her lying position, and she was quite confused looking around the room, which was foreign to her. In addition, he was very surprised when he was not wearing a single piece of clothing and a thin blanket covered him. Instantly, his eyes widened, and he looked to the right and left, which were quiet, and there was no one.

"What happened to me?" he muttered in great shock.

Renata tries to remember what happened last night, but she doesn't remember anything other than the last time she was at the party and drinking continuously.

"Oh my god, what happened to me last night? And who is the man with me?" Renata felt very scared as well as anxious. He couldn't imagine how he would face his father's wrath. It's the first time he's been away. When he was out of the house, he always came home.

Renata, who was busy with her thoughts, screamed when the door opened wide and someone came out with only a towel wrapped around her waist. Leaving his six-pack, muscular body exposed.

"Doctor Bastian!" Renata screamed, very surprised to see that figure, who was also looking at her. Renata tightened the blanket on her chest even more.

"You're awake," Bastian said in a relaxed tone as he put his hands on his hips.

"How can I be with you here?" Renata asked, stammering. He was very surprised to see Bastian there. In fact, they both don't wear a single thread.

"Have you forgotten what happened last night?" asked Bastian, walking towards the sofa where his clothes were.

"Last night I attended a high school reunion. I didn't meet you, so how can we? And this condition?" Renata was completely confused. "Wh-what were we last night?"

Bastian stopped his movement while wearing his t-shirt and looking at Renata.

"According to you?" asked Bastian with a teasing expression.

Renata's mind wandered again, trying to remember what happened last night. He felt frustrated and very surprised.

Renata was quite surprised when Bastian shamelessly took off his towel and put on his boxer shorts in front of her. Renata quickly turned her face away with a blushing face.

How could Bastian act like that to her?

"You are hungry? Do you want to order breakfast or should we look for breakfast downstairs?" asked Bastian, casually walking up to Renata, where he was already wearing his jeans.

"Tell me the truth; what did we do last night?" Renata asked, looking into those dark eyes with a questioning and confused look.

"Do you regret it now? Even though last night you were very passionate and pulled me onto this bed," said Bastian with a small smile.

"How could it be?" Renata pulled her hair back, looking frustrated. This is a first for him; so far, he has taken care of himself as his mother taught him. She will only surrender her chastity to the man who will become her husband someday.

Bastian's expression turned hard and annoyed. For some reason, he was quite disturbed by Renata's frustrated expression, even to the point of crying. Bastian thinks Renata loves him, and he will be happy to have intercourse with her. But it turned out to be out of his mind.

"I will take responsibility!"

Renata looked at Bastian with a widened gaze, moist eyes, and a red, sharp nose.

"Meaning Doctor?"

"I will marry you," he said, making Renata even more surprised.
