Chapter 9 Face Off

We were both chatting as we are walking along the route that leads to the wolve's palace.

"I wonder what will happen if she bring Kyle's back to life" I said looking at serahs face worriedly.

"Why did you said that?" She asked matching my gaze.

"According to the history; Kyle is the most cruelest supernatural creature ever existed on earth" I blurt.

"So?" She asked raising an eye brow.

"Chances of his defeat is slim this time around, especially when he got some vampires and a terrifying witch at his call and beck" I said.

"Thinking about it now is useless"

"When we get to wolve's palace I could convince the wolves to get involve. Afterall Kyle is a danger to everyone out there" she replied.

" Let's see if they will accept, not everyone wants to get involve in anything that has kyle in it" I said as we continue walking in the woods.

"Did you know that there are moles in wolves palace?" I asked as we saw the gigantic gate from afar.

"That is not a new thing" she replied me with a smile.

"The wolve council is made up of all the packs in this region afterall. So having a mole in the palace is nothing new" she added walking ahead of me.

"We must not expose all our plans to the elders of council" I said with a Stern face. Jogging after her to catch up with her.

"As your lordship please" she replied me in a babish tone.

"Silly girl" I said with a smirk.

She punch me slightly and she started running towards the palace gate leaving me far behind.

"You're not going anywhere little girl"I said as I started chasing her.

I caught her in no time and I carry her in bridal style walking towards the gate and she giggled.

"I can walk with my legs for goodness sake" she said sternly and I put her down immediately thinking she was angry.

"Who said you should put me down"she pouted folding her arms across her chest.

"Oh gosh!! I know what you want" I said with a grin, playing along with her.i pulled her closer and I carry her on my shoulder roughly.

"Please drop me off" she screamed.

"That's not happening" I said.

"Son of a bitch" she said punching me romantically but I didn't burge from it.

I carry her in that manner until we get to the entrance of the palace.

We made to enter but we are stopped by some guards who are holding a sliver sabbers each.

"Who are you?"one of them ask me as they were ready to pounce on me. They think I'm a foe.

"Chill guys" I said dropping serah off my shoulder.

When they saw her face they quickly apologize and they bow down for her.

"We are sorry for our insolence our dear princess" they chorused.

"Seems they're afraid of been killed by the princess" I said mockinly but Sarah didn't give me a reply.

We made our way into the palace and behold there was a camp ahead of us. The guards were there sparing among theirselves. They didn't seems to notice us. I tried to greet them but Sarah stopped me telling to ignore them.

I shrugged and we made our way into the palce.

"The foolish princess is back"one of them muttered to the others and they all turn around to look at us.Some of them were looking at me with an hostile gaze but I choose to ignore them.weaklings opinion doesn't matter anyways.

"I think I will have to rape the un mated princess" another one said and they all burst out laughing.

I stopped abruptly immediately I heard that and I made my way back to them.

"What is the matter" serah asked not knowing what was happening. My ears are sharper than hers afterall.

"I need to kick their butt" I said as I move closer to them.

"Never said such a thing to her again. If you don't wanna die" I threatening. Punching the one that talk last on his face.

One of them made to kick my chest but I held his leg and I smash him down.I release a bit of my aura to warn them. Sensing my aura the others eyes widen not daring to come closer.

"You mess with her next time and I'm going to kill you" I threatening. I dust my hands off and face Sarah smiling at her.

"Why did you beat them up?" serah asked pouting.

"Because they deserve it" I replied.

"Is it because they insult me?"

"I'm use to their insult. It doesn't bother me anymore"she said packing her hair in ponny tail.

"So you hear what they're saying?" I asked looking surprise.

"Of cause, am not deaf" she replied.she gestured towards the big palace away from the other building and we continue our journey towards the building.

"I thought you were no more a wolf since she took away your lightning abilities" I said looking at her.

"She only took my ability not my wolf" she replied not sounding as lively as before.

"Why the change of mood" I asked when I noticed that her mood had changed.

"Nothing let us go into the council hall" she said leading the way.

"Sarah will for everything" I said to myself before following her.

We walk for some minutes and I noticed a cold and proud looking guy coming toward us.

I didn't look at him twice because I feel irritated seeing him.He look sissy.

"Ben! What did you want this time around" Sarah said holding my hands protectively.

"Strangers are not allowed here. He may be one of the spies who knows" said the guy.

"And you of all people should know that we can't open our back to a stranger.We can't avoid to be backstab" he added while looking at Sarah. He doesn't even spare me a glance.

"He's not a....." Sarah try to say but I cut her short.

"Hey young man. Look I don't like dealing with a hypocrite like you. I'm not too cool with you crossing my path" I said looking at him cooly.

"Errrmmmm...."

"Don't ever meddle in my affairs again. I've met alot of people like you in my life but they are now in the afterlife, so behave" I said pointing my middle finger at him.

"Who the hell are you to talk to me like that. Do you think you are powerful because you manage to f**ck this slut" he shouted gaining the attention of those that are nearby.

"Don't ever call her a slut again or you will regret it" I said coldly.

"I'm gonna kill you" he said angrily.

"Is that a threat?" I asked.

I was boiling in rage. If there's a thing I hate most it is threat. I hate it when I'm being threatening. My wolf and vampires side are already urging me to tear him apart.

"I think that guy is unlucky to meet Sir Ben. Heeeheeee. He's going to die a horrible death" the wolves around were gossiping but I don't give a damn.

"Ben. This is my mate Christie. You better behave yourself." Clara said to him.

"I know you have been following me around for a long time but things have changed. You should just be satisfied with your mate. I've got my own mate" she urge and I quickly link everything together.

"So he's one of her suitor" I said shaking my head in disgust.

"Good!!!"

"I will kill him now and claimed you" Ben said to her and rushed at me with his full speed.

He jumped and threw a fast punch at me. I retaliated with a kick immediately.

My kick met his punch mid air and he was thrown far away. He crashed on a walk and screamed him pain.

"Ooooh" exclaimed the crowd.

"He defeat Sir Ben in a single attack.

"So powerful"

"So strong" the crowd were murmuring.

"Let's go Christie" Sarah said to me and we both entered the hall.
