Chapter 7 Blood & Debt

Serahs pov

I woke up to find myself in a dark place. I look around only to noticed that I was in a cave, tied to a wooden chair.

I tried to free myself from the rope used to tied me down but it was fruitless. So I give up after countless effort.

"Is this the end of my life" I thought saddened.

Suddenly I saw Clara entering the cave with some vampires carrying a limp body with them.

"Who is that?" I muttered to myself because I'm too weak to even say a word.

"Wolf girl am back with a surprise" Clara gloat.

I was left clueless, wandering what I've to do with the body the vampires are carrying.

"Bring him here" Clara said and I was having an ominous felling.

The vampres threw the half dead body to my feet. And then it dawn on me that the lifeless body is my mate.

"Chris!!" I shouted with all the little energy left in me.

"chill girl, he can't hear you, as you can see he's out" Clara stated giving me a wink.

"Don't kill him.. please!!" I begged why crying profusely.

"I want you to know what it feels like to have your mate killed in your presence" she said laughing out loud.

She started chatting some spells and her eyes turn green immediately. The air was moving in rhythm with her voice.

She made a hand sign and some demonic chains were crafted out of the air.

"Mera-deva...siiia" She continue chanting.

Fangs and two pairs of eyes started growing out at the edge of the two chains.

"Tied him down and suck his blood dry before dawn"she willed and the chain threw themselves at Chris rapping him immediately.

"Arrrrrh!!!!" I screamed.

"Shut it bitch" fired one of the vampires.

The vampires clean up the cave and they all went out.

"Chris, please wake up" I said, crawling to where he was laid with the wooden chair I was tied to.

I try to touch nudge him but the chains snapped at me. I move back instantly not daring to touch the dreadful chains.

After some hours, I noticed Chris furrow his brows in pain and I summoned the courage to touch him. I move closer to him again and I nudge him.

The chains attacked immediately.Throwing themselves at me, I tried to dodge but the chair made it impossible.

BANG!!......

I was hit on chest by the chain and I black out immediately.

Chris POV

I woke up feeling an insane pain assaulting my mind.

"Shit" I said as the memories of the past incidence was dawn on me. I tried to readjust myself but i noticed some blood sucking chains feeding on my blood.

"Huh!!" I was surprised.

I looked around only to see a figure lying down beside me.

"please where am I?" I asked the figure.

"Wow, thank God you are still alive" said a weak voice.

"That voice sounds familiar " I thought as I try to remember whose voice it is.

"Ohh!!"

"Serah is that you?" I asked feeling unsure.

"You can't even remember my voice" she said sadly.

"I'm sorry" I replied wincing.

"Damn this fucking chain" I lamented.

"I thought you are.... dead" she said stressing the word 'dead'.

"Really"

"Yeah"she replied.

"You save me and you tie me down with this blood sucking chains" I said and she giggled.

"It's not funny" I stated.

"You weren't save at all, we were both in Clara's custody" she answered looking sideways.

"WTF" I cursed.

"Those chains are sucking your blood" she said lowering her voice.

"Geez" I said. Trying to break the chains but I was too weak for that.

"Don't waste your energy you can't break that chain in your current state" she added and I think for a while then....

"I've an idea" I said feeling reassured.

"What?"

"Strike the chains with a bolt of lightning" I said.

" I can't" she said feeling irritated.

"Why?"

"She took my powers" she said as she began shedding tears.

"Sorry I will get us out of this place safely" I assure her while resisting a great deal of pain.

"Ssssszzzz!" I groaned.

"If you were not killed tomorrow" she stated and I was scared to bone.

"Killed?"I asked to confirm if I heard her right.

"Yeah" she said as she rest her head on the chair she was tied to.

"If I was not killed by dawn" I thought as I black out from pain.

"Wow!!, what a reunion" A voice jolted me up and I recognize whose voice it is at once.

"Clara!!" I said gritted in anger.

"Wow!! you even recognize my voice while being unconscious" she said.

The vampires also entered and they light up the lamp they were holding.

"Devil" I spat.

"You're quite tenacious you know"

"They hell chain couldn't suck out more than 4% of your blood" she mocked.

"Do you take me for a weakling" I said looking at her in disdain.

"You know you are such a petty woman for involving other people in your plot" I added as I look at Sarah lovingly.

"I don't have time for your stupidity"

"give him the herb" she gestured to a vampire.

"And if I don't take it?" I asked.

"You will be forced" she said treatingly.

The vampire force the harb into my throat and I swallow it because I know there's nothing I can do. If I refuse to take the herb she may kill my mate.

I felt drain and dizzy after swallowing the harb.

"C..oo..!!" I started coughing out blood repeatedly.

"Bring him out" Clara told the vampires and they drag me out of the cave.

"No oo, please!!" serah begged crying.

"bring her out. It will be fun to have her watch how I'll slice her mate's throat" she said coldly to the other vampires. And Sarah was also drag out after me.

They drag me to the alter they have prepared and have me lie down on it.

"Let the count down begin" said one of the vampires.

Clara started her chatting and her eyes turn bright green at once.

"Here comes hell" I thought. Feeling ashamed of myself.

BOOM......

Thunder flashes as she finished the chanting. She slice my throat gently and blood was gushing out.

She summoned a sliver pot and the blood flow into it.

Sarah pass out immediately, she couldn't bear the sight of everything.

I feel powerless and I cried as everything went back to normal.

Clara signal to a vampire and she bow down before her.

"Gave them food and ask Sam to luck them up, we'll need them when Kyle is back" she ordered the vampire.

"Your wish is my command" the vampire girl answered. Clara point her finger to a vampire and they both went South.

I was put back into the cave together with sarah.

I was dying slowly when the vampire girl came in with two dish and she was feeding me.

I noticed something stirred in me after eating some of the food and I look at her weirdly.

"This food will restore your powers within twenty minutes"she whispered into my ear as she continue feeding me.

After feeding me she went out and came back with a jar of water. She went towards sarah and sprinkle some water on her face.

"Chris!!" She souted jolting back to live.

"Shhhhhh" I shush her.

"Huh!! I thought she killed you"she asked looking around weirdly.

"Just eat" I said to her with a wink. The lady move towards her and started feeding her.

She look at the lady that feeding her and her eyes shine brightly.

"Thought you were dead?" she asked with a lowered voice.

"Shhhhhh"

"Story for another day" said the lady and Sarah keep quiet taking the food from her.

As the lady was feeding sarah I did a total counting of the vampires left at the base. When I look towards my left to check if all is well there.I saw my sword with one of the vampire and I let out a wicked grin.

The lady went outside after feeding serah and I could finally feel myself again after what seems like eternity.

"Thank God she didn't cripple me" I thought as I exert a little pressure on the chain.

"Bang!!"

The chain shattered.

The vampires noticed something and they quickly gathered at the cave mouth.

I step out of the cave holding Sarah with my left hand.

I ran toward the vampire that was holding my sword with a speed of light, I pull the sword out of it's sheath and I cut off his arm.

"Arrgggrhh" he screamed out in pain.

As Soon a the others saw what happened they were panick striken.

"Feel my wrath" I roared as I charge at them.

I levitated as I kick one of them on his crotch, he staggered backward and I bisect him with my sword immediately.

One of them threw a kick at me from the back aiming to crush my spine. I avoid is kick, grabbing and snapping his neck in a seconds.

I was lost in massacring them not knowing one of them has grab serah by neck.

"Hey"

"You kill yourself or I kill her" he threatening.

"Really"

"I hate threat" I said as I vanished from his vision.

He look around trying to see where I was, I appear behind him chop his head off.

"Stop wasting time, let's get out of here" Sarah adviced and grab her by the waist.

.......she blushed, I carried her in bridal style and......

Voooooooom.... We zoom off. The vampires couldn't keep up with such crazy speed and they loss our track in no time.

"Where are you going?" Sarah asked.

"Errrrrmm....nowhere" I scratched my head.

"Let's go to wolf's palace" she said.

"after you" I replied as we speed off, moving towards East.

"I won't forget this debt" I swore internally
