Chapter 3

"Yes, this is life" I smiled while walking in the big oval. This is my "me time". I'm the only one who doesn't have a nagging twin, no one to make noise, no one to tease.

I smiled as I put the wooden spoon of ice cream I was eating in my mouth. I smile every time I hear children's giggles. I love children, maybe because I'm the youngest, so that's why I love children "Kim?" I turned to the speaker. I was immediately overwhelmed when I recognized the person who called my name. Jero.

This lover of mine is so naughty. I've been bashing it a few times and I still don't want to stop.

"You're not replying to my messages" he said annoyed when he got close to me "I don't have time" I said and walked away from him but followed him again.

"Kim, are you going to do something today?" it asked

"Yes, there are many. So don't get confused"

"Just like?" He came in front of me to stop me from walking but I just avoided him and continued.

"I'm waiting for my boyfriend. We have a date today" I told him proudly.

"Are you kidding? Boyfriend? You almost throw up when a man approaches you" he said sarcastically

I was stunned by what he said. It's Bweset! Better than me. I turned around. I saw a man sitting on the chair That will do!

"Oh there he is" I smiled and pretended to know the man. It's still turned away from me.

"Babe" I called but she didn't turn around

"Maybe you're the only one who knows," Jero said laughing.

I gave Jero a hard time and walked towards the man. As soon as I got closer, my chest began to tremble.

"Babe" I hugged her neck from behind and looked at her from the front. My eyes widened when I realized why my heart was beating so fast. Damon's eyebrows meet as he looks at me.

"Babe?" he asked and then he smirked at me. I closed my eyes and bowed to the shame of what I had done.

"See?" we both turned to Jero who now had his arms folded and a big smile on his face.

I broke away from Damon and headed straight. I gave him a hard time and took a deep breath before confessing.

Bwiset! Because Damon has become my prospect! If it's someone else I can pretend but if it's him I can't because my heart is beating him!

"Fine, he is..."

"What do you need with my girl?" I didn't finish what I was going to say when Damon suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. I looked up to him because of what he did.

Hey Damon Salvador!!! You scene!!!

I felt weak in the knees when I felt his warm body against me so I grabbed his chest and arms for support. I can't see anything but his handsome face. I don't hear anything either. I just looked at his moving lips.

He suddenly looked at me. I blinked twice when I saw her beautiful hazel brown eyes.

"Kim" Damon snapped his finger in front of me to bring me back to reality. Seeing how close we were, I pushed him lightly. I fixed my clothes. I looked at Jero and saw him walking away from me.

"Thank you" I stammered here

"Who's that?" and Jero snorted

"Nothing, it's just a naughty lover" I replied curtly and looked away.

"So? What's with the babe?" I looked at him again. My cheeks immediately warmed when I saw him smiling at me.

"Aahhh... I need an excuse for him to stop me" I excused here

"So, I'm your babe now" his smile widened "No" I denied this "Only when I need it" I also laughed at what I thought

"Ouch" he said and pretended to be hurt.

I smiled because of what he said.

"Don't be choosy. It's me, oh Kim, are you going to act" I said arrogantly

"Wow, thank you Kim for using me" he said sarcastically. I felt guilty because of what he said so my smile disappeared.

"Ahh... I'll just free you" is my suggestion here to make up for all the arrears I owe him

"Just street foods. I don't have cash with me right now"

"Gosh. The miser is rich"

"My parents are rich, not me, you want to be free with them" I smiled sarcastically at him

He stared at me before smiling

"I'd rather be with you than with them" the smile on my lips disappeared because of what he said. My heart beat even faster. Because of the nervousness, I chose to walk to the street food stall.

I immediately salivated at the food I saw. Quail eggs, Kikiam, Fishball, Siomai, Dos Tres.

I went to May Dos Tres. I immediately took two sticks and dipped them in the vinegar. I closed my eyes when I saw that. Its taste is really a winner. I opened my eyes and saw Damon's reaction.

"What? Don't tell me you don't eat it?" I ask here

He just shook his head at me and looked at what I was eating

"Oh my gosh! The sadness of your childhood brad" I said laughing here

I took a stick and put it in his mouth. I smiled when he slightly moved his head away "Say aaahhh" I teased here

"Kim" he said annoyed while taking my hand away from his mouth.

"Arte" I snorted and lowered my hand.

Damon took a deep breath before looking at me. It frowned.

"Fine" it said annoyed. He held my hand and put my stick in his mouth. He bit the small part of the food.

I couldn't understand my feelings when I felt his hand on my wrist. I'm nervous, I don't know. I feel like I want to pee.

"This is actually nice" he said and completely took the stick from me. It was only then that I finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Damon was very good at eating dos tres. I have five sticks.

"Damon" I slapped his arm "go away! I'll make you pay for that" because it almost finished the cooked food.

"What? It's delicious," he said while chewing I handed the payment to the salesman and immediately pulled Damon away from the stall.

"Kim, free me. I want more" he complained

"If only I knew you were greedy, I wouldn't have freed you. You hardly give it to the other buyers!" I said laughing

"Hurry up, it's the last one" he insisted to me

"Just next time"

Damon stopped and narrowed his eyes at me

"Next time? So, we'll meet again here?" the width of the smile on his lips.

I just realized what I said. What will you see? What is a date??? And why does it seem like I initiated it?! Aarrggghhh Kim!!!!!

"I mean, next time if we meet again" I made an excuse for this. I avoided looking at Damon because my heart was beating like a fool again.

Suddenly my cell phone rang. I answered that right away.

"Where are you?" Brother Ethan and Brother V's eyebrows meet in the video call.

"Aahh secret" I said smiling to them.

"Tell us where you are. We'll fetch you" said Brother Ethan.

"I'm..."

"We're on a date Villafuertes" I was surprised when Damon suddenly came to the back and joined the video call. Because he is tall, he had to bend slightly to see on my phone screen. He almost put his chin on my shoulder.

"Asshole! Who said you can date!! Kimberly Mae, stay away from there" Brother V said angrily.

"I'll see you Damon, you'll really taste me" Big Brother Ethan threatened.

Damon just laughed at them. I could feel the warmth of his breath laughing in my ear and cheek. I turned to him.

When I turned, he turned too. We both widened our eyes when we realized how close our faces were to each other. Our noses are almost touching because of the closeness.

My heart seemed to have a battalion of rats because of the trepidation I felt.

"You d*ckhead! I'm gonna punch you real hard if you kiss my brother in a public place" Brother V said angrily

Damon and I pulled away from each other when we realized that my older brothers were watching us. Damon smirked and scratched his head. I can't even look at him.

"Get home Kimberly Mae or we'll fetch you with a metal bat" said Brother Ethan

"Fine. Fine. My handsome brothers are going home" I said to them.

Silence filled the atmosphere when I hung up. It's awkward!!

"Aahh, it's my first time. I'm looking for it" I said goodbye to Damon and quickly turned around.

"I'll bring you" he quickly offered

I turned to him and smiled.

"What? I'll just deliver you, don't be an issue" he said and slightly pushed my forehead with his index finger before walking first.

I smiled even more and he touched my forehead. I closed my eyes and bit my lip because of the thrill I felt.

I took a deep breath before following him. We stopped in the parking lot and he came across a big single motor bike. I quickly walked closer to it

"Don't tell me you'll take me there?"

"Edi no" he said laughing. I hit him on the arm. "I'll just slow down, don't worry"

"My Brother will kill you when you bring me home riding there"

"Let's see then" he said and pulled me closer to him. I was stunned by what he did. He slowly put on me the spare helmet he brought. He was busy locking my helmet so I could freely stare at his handsome face. I was brought back to reality when he tapped my helmet. He got on the motorcycle and helped me ride too.

"It's slow," I reminded her.

Just laugh it off. I hugged him tightly when he suddenly sped up.

"Aaahhhh Daaaamooooonnn!!! Oh my goshh!!! I'm gooonnnaaa ddiiieee" I shouted as he revved the motor. He didn't answer me anything but just laughed as if he was happy with what was happening to me.

I finally hugged him for fear of falling. I closed my eyes and rested my chin on his shoulder because of the fear I felt. I don't know if it's because of fear or because of Damon's presence that my heart is losing.

Damon's pace slowly slowed down so my eyes widened. I saw that we were close to the house and my twins were standing outside the house.

They approached us when the motor stopped. Brother Ethan is helping me get down. Brother V took off the helmet I was wearing and jokingly punched Damon in the arm, and Brother Ethan did the same.

"You're a real jerk! One more escape from our brother will give you a real blow" Brother Vincent said laughing

"Let me know if your ID date is not the one running away. You can bring it later" said Brother Ethan

"Noted. I'll let you know on our next date" Damon said laughing. My cheeks immediately got hot because of what he said. He looked at me. His smile is really beautiful.

He started his motor. He looked at me again.

"Bye, babe" he said with a wink before driving the motorcycle.

"Babe?!!!!" my brothers shouted at the same time. I closed my eyes in annoyance at the thought of him leaving me in front of the two after what he said I shouted at him. He just waved while driving.

"Kimberly Mae???? What babe????" Brother V asked

I held my breath. Long time to explain it again. That's what happened. They asked a lot of questions before I entered the room.

After entering the room I lay down on the bed. Staring at the ceiling. I smiled remembering Damon's smiles. Little by little the heart beat faster

What have you done to me Damon?!
