Chapter 2

"If I quit, then you two quit the basketball too. Deal?" I challenged them with a smile. My two older brothers quickly looked away.

"Are you okay?" I lost my smile when I heard Damon's voice.

"Yeah. It's normal in cheerdance" I answered here sparingly.

"That's nice to hear" he smiled at me.

I was surprised when Brother Vincent lightly punched Damon's chest.

"Stupid, I know your moves" he said with a smile

"What?" Damon's eyebrows meet.

"Kim is the youngest in the triplets, Damon so just get ready now"Brother Ethan threatened.

I understood what they were saying so I quickly hit them because I was the one who felt ashamed of what they were saying.

"Stop! You're embarrassing me!" I said weakly. My friends just laughed at me.

"We have to go" Brother Ethan said goodbye

I clung to Brother Vincent's arm for support.

"Okay. See you next game Kim" Damon said. I turned to him, the smile on his lips was so beautiful. I don't understand my feelings, I even beat running a marathon with the speed of my heart.

"Kim, stop staring. You're blushing" I closed my eyes before I hit Brother Vincent hard for what he whispered. My brothers just laughed at me

"I hate you two!!" I yelled at them in annoyance.

"And we love you too" they said together.

Even though my feet hurt, I forced myself to walk ahead of my two brothers out of shame.

I hold onto the wall for some kind of support. I stopped when Brother Vincent sat with his back turned.

"Hop in Kim" Brother Ethan said and put a jacket on my shoulders that reached my legs due to its size. I'm still wearing our cheerdance uniform.

I frowned as I rode behind Brother V. He gave me a piggyback ride.

"Kim if someone tried to hit on you, can you not?" Brother Vincent said seriously "Why? Brother" I put my chin on Brother V's shoulder.

"We're not yet ready Kim" Brother Ethan answered. I smiled at what he said

"I'll be the one to have a relationship, not you," I answered laughing

"What if they make you cry? Or just hurt you? Can you take it?"

"Brother, isn't being hurt part of love? How can you say you love the person if you can't be hurt? They say you know it's true when it hurts"

"Kim, not all love can hurt you. Other love can make you whole, can make you complete and that's the kind of love we want you to experience,"Brother Ethan explained "You're too precious for us Kim. That's why we don't want you to get hurt because it will hurt us more. Love when you know you're ready" advised Brother Ethan.

I smiled at what my older brothers said.

"Even though you always tease me, I still really love you. Don't worry brother if I have a boyfriend I will make sure he is like you and Papa. You set the standard so high" I said smiling to them

"Good girl" my twins said at the same time.

"Let's go Kim" my two older brothers put their arms around me entering Mckinley. As usual, we are getting attention again, especially the two men next to me.

"Isn't that skirt long enough Kim?"Brother V's eyebrows met when I came out of the cr wearing the cheerdance uniform. Today is the 2nd game and the match will be held here.

"What do you expect me to wear pajama brother?" I laughed and said this

Brother V scratched his hair in annoyance while Brother Ethan laughed at him.

"There's nothing you can do. You know nothing can stop Kim"

"Wear that and don't mess with your body!" Brother Ethan threw me a jacket. I just put it on so the conversation wouldn't go on.

When we arrived at the court, there were already many people and everyone was cheering. Since it hasn't started yet, I took out my cellphone first, when I went to the messenger, there was a message request. I opened it but I raised my eyebrows when I saw the message

"Nice and body. Wanna go out?" Montero from Xavier

My head got hot from what I read. I quickly approached Luna who is my best friend.

"You know Montero?" I ask here

"Yes, that's the one in the red shirt...."

I didn't finish what Luna was going to say. I marched closer to the other side of the court. I touched the one wearing the red shirt just like that, I was disappointed when Damon's face appeared to me.

I thought it was sensible! There are many!

It's smiling at me. I gave him a plastic smile. I raised my cellphone and waved it. Damon's look followed that and because of annoyance I kicked him hard in the middle of his thighs.

She moaned loudly and writhed because of what I did. I grabbed his shoulder and put my mouth close to his ear.

"Pervert" I whispered here and walked back to my seat with a victorious smile.

I can see people's surprise at what I did. Luna hit me quickly.

"Tang*, Salvador is the one you approached. The one next to him is Montero" he said laughing

"What!" I said softly "You didn't say!!!" I'm annoyed with this question "Girl, you didn't let me finish. A red shirt with a towel on the shoulder is what I should say if you're excited"

I got wet on my forehead because of what I did. I slowly looked in Damon's direction. I saw him jumping and jogging in his place to ease the pain of what I did.

I immediately felt guilty for what I had done.

My heart suddenly skipped a beat when Damon suddenly looked at me. I didn't know what to do so I just gave him the peace sign and hesitated with a smile. The man just made me suffer.

The game started and my conscience was really eating me because of what happened. I was biting my lip because of the nervousness and conscience of what I had done. The buzzer rang meaning the 1st half was over. I can see how tired Damon is. It's sweaty and sweaty. He sat down on the chair and looked up. He was given a bottled water. He used it up quickly. He bent down and rested his arms on his knees. He was breathing through his mouth because of exhaustion.

I was suddenly nervous again when he looked up. He caught me looking at him. His face showed no reaction. Just looking at me too. I bit my lip because of the nervous feeling.

"Sorry" I mouthed the word to him and gave him an apologetic smile. My eyes widened when I saw a smile on his lips. He sat properly and leaned back in the chair but did not take his eyes off me.

"I don't want" he mouthed back his answer.

"I'm sorry" I repeat here so that we can continue what we're doing.

"I don't want" it again.

I held my breath.

It's hard to persuade!

The buzzer sounded to signal the start of the 2nd half. The match was tight because the scores were close. We stood up every time our school had a shootout and booed when Damon's team got revenge.

In every shoot we do, Damon reciprocates that immediately. I don't know if I'll be upset because we can't believe them or happy because he plays so well.

Our player laid up but it wasn't a shoot so he took the lead in the rebound. Their player Damon hit the ball hard. Damon chased after it quickly. The ball was about to come out but Damon jumped it and before it could step outside, he threw it to our player. The ball bounced back out of the court so we were the last touch and the ball was Damon's.

I panicked when I saw that Damon was going to fall in my direction because he was chasing the ball. I quickly blocked my two palms on my chest and closed my eyes to catch Damon. For a few seconds, I didn't feel anything like someone ran over me, which is why I opened my eyes, which I immediately regretted because Damon's handsome face opened up to me, smiling while chewing mint bubble gum. I can smell its hot and fragrant breath because of the mint bubble gum. His two hands rested on the back of my chair so that his body wouldn't completely fall on me

My eyes widened when I saw him winking at me. I don't understand what I'm feeling right now. It even brought itself closer to me. I feel his mouth over my ear "You're blushing Kim" he said and laughed with a hoarse voice

How sexy is her laugh!!!!

The buzzer sounded. It means someone called a time out. Damon quickly separated from me and ran back to the other side of the court. I just looked at its wide back running.

"Hey what's that!" Luna hit me

"Which?" I turned to him

"Girl, you almost reached the sky! You can kiss him with just one move! If it was me, I would have grabbed him. That's Damon Salvador, are you still choosy" she said excitedly

I turned to Damon who was now also looking at me. This time I didn't look back at him. I stared at it. Little by little, a smile appeared on his lips and he shook his head. I also couldn't stop smiling because her beautiful smile was contagious.

"Is there someone to watch?" Luna got my attention. I looked at him and just smiled.

The game ended with Xavier winning 1 with the score of the match. I was fixing things when Luna elbowed me. I looked at him annoyed. It sniffed my back so I turned to it.

I saw Damon crossing the court and heading in my direction. I quickly looked away and hurriedly put my things away "I'll go first" I said to Luna, I was only one step away when a warm hand grabbed my arm. I immediately took it back because I felt electricity from his hands.

I turned to Damon who now raised his eyebrows and was staring at me

"What?" I asked a few questions because I saw that most of the people in the court were looking at us

"I think you owe me an explanation for doing your stunt earlier" he said seriously

"Fine. Can we do it outside? I'm not comfortable. They are looking at us" I said softly.

Damon looked at the people in the court. When he looked back at me, he nodded. I walked first and he was behind me. There are many going out the door. I retreated when the people in front of us suddenly started to fight.

My back leaned against Damon's chest and I was just so nervous when I felt Damon's hand on my waist to support me "Are you okay?" it looked at my face

I swallowed hard and just nodded. I arranged with us because I couldn't hold our position for long. I breathed a sigh of relief when we got outside the court. I took Damon to a gazebo that was empty. I sat down while Damon just stood.

"So, you kick me because?" it folded its arms while leaning against the pillar of the gazebo.

Why are you handsome no matter what you do!!!

"It's because someone messaged me and then when I asked who Montero was, you were pointed out," I explained here

"Montero? Why? What did you say?"

I took out my cellphone. I was surprised when he suddenly sat next to me. I looked at him while he was busy looking at my phone.

I showed Montero's message to me

"Asshole" he said annoyed "Did you reply?" This question raises an eyebrow.

"Hmm just reply" I answered here. I was surprised when he took my cell phone and something was fiddling with it.

"Blocked" he said and handed me the cellphone. Montero's name is on my chin and I can't even see it. "Don't reply to anyone Kim" it reminded me.

I nodded like a child at what he said. Silence prevailed over us after what he said. That's why I felt more nervousness in my chest. I bit my lip because I don't know what to do, I feel because it's so loud that Damon will hear it "Stop" Damon suddenly said. I turned to him.

"Huh?"

"Stop biting your lip Kim" he looked at my lips and immediately looked away. I let go of biting my lip.

"Don't do that when you're with me" he said again but looking far away

"Why?" I asked curiously

He looked at me before smiling.

"You'll find it out when you repeat that with me" he said laughing before leaving me alone in the gazebo. I did nothing but watch him walk away from me.

I held my heart. I don't understand why Damon has this effect on me.

No, no, no, no heart! No more!
