Chapter 6 Broken

CHAPTER 6

A few days later, Anderson arrived from his business trip. All through the trip he couldn't stop thinking about Hazel. She was finally his and he couldn't get over the excitement of having her beneath him, he could still smell her sweetness from slipping his finger in her private area.

Getting home, he was welcomed by his maid. Angry that Hazel couldn't welcome him, he was ready to teach her a lesson. "Sir, the last you brought here left fee days ago. She said she was going to call the cops if we didn't let her go so we didn't have any choice." he heard his maid say. Groaning angrily, he had choked the maid till she was at the brink of death before letting her go. He sacked almost all of them angrily, they all feared him and that was what he liked.

He had called for a meeting and thoroughly punished his maids before storming out of the house. He was sure she was with her mother, he knew her mother was greedy and it was going to be easy to persuade her mother to let her move in with him so he wasn't worried.

Getting to her house, he barged in to see her mother watching a movie. "Welcome my son, how was your trip?" her mother asked him. "It was fine." he replied happily. He was sure hazel hadn't told her mother what happened. After a while of exchanging pleasantries, he noticed Hazel hadn't come out and asked for her presence. "Why is Hazel not here to welcome me?" he asked her mother.

Her mother looked at Anderson in confusion as he asked about Hazel's whereabouts. "Stop with such silky jokes. She is surely in your villa," Mrs Bria said with an eye roll. Mrs Bria had sent Hazel back to his house on that day and she knew Hazel wouldn't defy her orders. Anderson began to get agitated, they both were confused.

If Hazel wasn't at Anderson's villa or at her mother's place then where the hell was she? Anderson brought out his phone and dialed her number but it wasn't going through. Mrs. Bria began to get scared, she remembered how Hazel was angry that night. Praying and hoping that her daughter hadn't done anything stupid.

"She came here few days ago saying she couldn't cope any longer. She said you assaulted her but I had sent her back regardless." Mrs Bria explained to Anderson. Anderson ruffled his hair angrily before storming out, he didn't think she would just kill herself because of something like that. He headed back home and went into his room.

He opened the suitcase where he keeps his money and noticed some of it was missing. She had eloped with his money! That greedy bastard! He was going to hunt her down and teach her a valuable lesson.

Calling his security team, he requested for their presence. "Make sure you get where Hazel is. Find her, I don't care what you do but I want her!" he ordered angrily. . He had to teach her a good lesson. That night, he couldn't sleep as he wished he could see her and teach her a good lesso. She had to pay for her misdeeds. He had spent a lot on her family and she had repaid him with this!

The next morning he had gone back to her house and collected everything he had done for them, even their company leaving her family wretched. Her mother had tried pleading with him but he wasn't having any of it, all he wanted was to get between her skirt, nothing else.

Hazel had found an apartment and had continued to search for a job. She was working in a Cafe as a waitress, it was a part-time job. She needed a stable job to help herself get to where she wanted to be. She had gotten home that evening feeling very exhausted when she heard her doorbell ring.

She opened the door, only to get pushed by someone. Her worst fears had found her, Anderson was there looking very angry. A slap was sent to her cheek as she staggered back trying to find herself.

He was very angry and beat her to a pulp, sending kicks and punches to her stomach. He had his way with her. "Where the fuck is the money you stole?" he asked her angrily with his feet on her stomach. "I am sorry. I couldn't spend the money. I had no choice but to give the money to the charity," she said with tears on her face. "You bastard!" he cussed angril. He scattered her house but couldn't find anything before storming out.

Tears stung her eyes as she managed to stand up and lock the door. She was happy that she had hidden the money in her closet. She had found a safe where she could hide his money and some of his gold necklace that was gold.

She went into the bathroom and tried washing herself but it was futile. No matter how she washed herself she could still smell his disgusting scent on her body, that night she cried herself to sleep and regretted ever having something to do with Anderson.

She had made the biggest mistake of her life and it was all her mother's fault, she couldn't see herself forgiving any one of them and she decided that it was time for her to leave the city. She couldn't bear to stay in this apartment as it reminded her so much about her misery and all the regrets she had. She had to leave and start her life all afresh.

Liam was already making his money, within these few weeks, he has been able to make back the capital he had borrowed. His uncle was so proud of him and had gone back to his home. Liam had tagged along this time, he was ready to meet his family members after a long time again. He had made sure to employ trusted friends and employees who would oversee his business for him.

It was time for him to leave this city that had caused him so much pain and regret. His uncle was more than happy that he was finally coming back home. He looked back as he walked into the plane, he was never going to set his eyes on her again. He had left his past and every memory of her in this city. The couple had decided to leave this city, to leave behind their pain and start all over again but could they ignore their past?
