Chapter 5 5

"Doesn't that sound so crazy? I don't want to believe such news. However, some people who have clearly seen the creature have clarified that this forest is really haunted and may indeed have an unsolvable mystery. However, some people or climbers have also clarified that they have come across a handsome man in branded clothes, walking or riding around this forest," Shotaro spoke at length as they relaxed in the backyard of the cabin decorated with pools of warm water, the atmosphere getting spooky in a matter of seconds. "To be honest, it's made me get the chill, Shotaro.

Hear me up, I don't want to believe in such things, but we settled in the cabin in the middle of a forest. That was crazy talk for sure," Daniela complained. "I don't believe it either, but I read the news on some well-known sites and some of our classmates also talked about it in the group chat. They said that this place is really haunted, but Ms. Lorencia was nagging them because of that. That's news isn't true or false. Im tired, forget the ghost and Ill go to sleep. " Shotaro explains it to them with a serious tone in his voice. "By the way, what's the reason for Ms. Lorencia's nagging them? Is it means that the news could be true? "Daniela later said. "I have no idea, there isn't an explanation that makes sense to me. Ms. Lorencia has instructed us to leave the area." Shotaro shrugged, and then poured a glass of wine. "What the talkshit? It's like she's trying to tell us something is a lie. Hear me up, if the news is true, where the ghost is?" Lavelle interrupted, and then took a sip of her wine. The fall was silent for a moment while Mark let out a deep breath, then took a piece of watermelon from the plate before him. Then he spoke up, "Do you believe the rumors?" "Why should we believe the rumors, anyway? Even if we don't know for sure if it's true, in the world there are a lot of things that we don't know, but from now I should think more reasonably." Daniela answered Mark's question but not with Lavelle. She was drunk and her mind was foggy. She was mumbling and she just kept speaking nonsense. "You're going drunk, Lavelle. It would be better if you stopped drinking your wine and got to bed. Remember that you're not okay. You must take your medicine," Daniela said to her sidekick. "I'm not drunk," snapped Lavelle at Daniela. "I know about it. You can't drink wine too much. You should remember what your doctor has said before," Daniela reminded Lavelle. Mark sighed and then tried to lift up Lavelle's body, but she dodged it and pushed him away. "I'm not drunk at all," she's mumble once more time but she couldn't stopped shaking and grabbing her head while get back to her couch. "How to believe that you're not drunk at all?" Daniela asked Lavelle then. "Just stop thinking I'm a kid anymore. I'm 18 years old now," Lavelle said, out of the topic. Mark glance at Daniela and Shotaro, like make a plan behind their mind. Mark let out a deep sigh before he persuaded Lavelle to get the bed immediately. "I can see the vampire trying to suck my blood." Lavelle giggles and walks around while grabbing Mark's jumper. In a matter of seconds, Mark's face flushed for no reasonable explanation. He and Shotaro were getting weird. They behave as if they've done something wrong before, like Lavelle and Daniela. Mark tries to lift Lavelle's body once more. But before he did that, the loud sound of the broken branch in the bush startled them. Daniela jolted awake from her couch and then she glances at Shotaro and Mark as asked 'what is that' "That's a vampire," Lavelle giggles one more time. "What are you talking about, Lavelle. There's not a vampire here," Daniela complained. Mark huffed, and then told his sidekick to get into the cabin as soon as possible. "Drag her to her room. Let's get into the cabin, I think there's somes wild animal or something spying us." "Yes, that's true. Of course, we must not be sloppy in here," Daniela answered, then she dragged away Lavelle from the backyard into the cabin. Mark and Shotaro followed them and locked the door behind them. When they entered the cabin, they could hear some noise outside. It's like a bat sound but stronger than a bat's sounds when it's going to earn a meal. Shotaro and Mark are staring at each other, but they do nothing besides that. They climbed the stairs and followed Daniela, who was in Lavelle's room. Mark did not touch anything in the room, but he glanced at Lavelle with a gleaming gaze. "Why is it like a crazy moment? Why is she talking about vampires when she's drunk? I think she has the sixth sense or something," Mark mumbled when Daniela put a pillow behind Lavelle's hand and then covered her body behind the thick blanket. "Please, keep your voice down. She's sleeping." Daniela whispered to Mark, "Let's go to the center room and have a talk." Mark nodded and then led the way to the center room. Shotaro greeted them with a frown on his face, and he awoke. "She's sleeping. That's a good thing, since she didn't get the best rest last night," Daniela said. "That's good. I think she's in the delusion phase. She's not in her right mind, but she has no intention of heading back to her home." Shotaro let out a deep breath, and then he plopped down on the couch. "Yeah, that was the main problem. What should we do right now? We can't let her live in the middle of nowhere like this. Yet I don't know how to explain it to her about her mum's love. She's going unsteady because her dad and--" Daniela chimes in, "You shouldn't drive her to the cabin." "What should I do then? I'm sure you'll do the same thing as me when you're in my shoes," Mark said in annoyance. Daniela tightened her jaws and averted her gaze from Mark to another object in the room. Shotaro mediated for them not to cause a commotion right now because Lavele was falling asleep. But Daniela's annoyance isn't going away because it's causing some problems that were freaking difficult for them. "Can you answer me now? How do you know about the forest? Who does sell the cabin for you, Mark?" Daniela's voice got louder and louder, slightly pressed like she was holding her anger, her eyes were trembling. "It's my dad's property," Mark answer Daniela question. "Are you sure?" Daniela asked once more time. "I had never lies to you, Daniela--" GUBRAK! A voice that was quite loud cut their conversation at once. They were shocked and immediately looked outside, witnessing what was happening. A fairly large squirrel fell lying, with blood-splattered on the porch of their cabin. It was very odd because they didn't see any trees near their cabin, except for a few poles that supported the electricity cables. It seems someone is keeping a close watch on them. "Dude, I get the chill right now. It's 9pm and there is a dead squirrel here," Daniela grumbling when she saw the squirrel carcass. "It's seems that someone is watching over us," Mark mumbled in a confusing tone, his eyes were flashing with great rages. "We should check it," Shotaro gave an advice. "No. Don't be sloppy, we are here. I'm afraid that it is the doing of evil people," said Daniela, preventing him from opening the main door. "But we have to check it, Daniela. We can't just leave it like this." Shotaro said to her. "This is in the forest, around the cabin there are also no trees. The squirrels can't get there," said Daniela. "We'd better lock the door now and go upstairs." Shotaro was strolling, intending to lock the door when a handsome man suddenly held the main door of the cabin with a suspicious gesture. A handsome man with a height of one hundred and seventy-three centimeters dressed in a casual suit and covered with a winter coat was attractive with maroon hair, sharp eyes with two bright green eyeballs, and thin lips with colored pink-salmon.
