Chapter 4 the Salvador mansion

Chapter 4

I was crying silently inside Summer's car. I was looking out the window and I couldn't imagine that my own blood would do that to me.

I stopped crying when a tissue box appeared in front of me. I looked at Summer with her eyes focused on the road.

"Stop crying! There's nothing you can do to cry anymore" I saw her staring as if she wanted to say something but didn't continue. I took the box of tissues and wiped the tears from my eyes. I tried to hold back my tears but they kept pouring.

When I got to the Salvador mansion, I saw Laina walking back and forth and only stopped when Summer's car stopped.

It quickly ran towards me. As soon as I got off, he hugged me.

"Thank God you're safe! I told you something's not right" he cried. "Oh my God! What did they do to you?" Laina looked at every bruise on my body.

"Laina, put Jeah inside first" shouted Aunt Kim. Laina supported me into the mansion. We all sat in the living room. Summer handed me a glass of water. I smiled at him in thanks.

Laina caresses the bruises on my body one by one while crying.

"I'm not dead enough to cry yet, Laina" I said with a laugh.

It hit me on the arm

"Ouch" I moaned here

"It's not funny Jeah" he said annoyed. I smiled and leaned my head on my best friend's shoulder.

"Yeah, sleep in Laina's room first" said Aunt Kim. "Until you and Yadiel are married, you can't live side by side"

I sat up when I remembered the wedding.

"Stop talking about that stupid wedding" Summer stormed off in front of us. I tried to smile at those who were left in the living room.

Laina and I went up to his room and there he treated my wounds.

"I really know that something bad is happening to you. My cousins have been watching your house for a few days but they couldn't see you and a while ago when they saw that your aunt was carrying a foreigner, they didn't think twice about letting you in." it explained to me.

"Thank you Laina. If it wasn't for you I don't know what would have happened to me" I hugged her tightly.

"Go ahead and rest" He helped me lie down. He smiled at me before singing. I feel like a child if I consider it. After a while I felt sleepy.

We heard a knock from Laina's bedroom door. He stood up to open the door.

"Is she asleep?" I looked up and saw Summer peeping from the door.

"I'll get some milk for her" Laina said and left the bedroom door open. Summer and I looked at each other. He walked closer to me and every step he took closer made my heart beat faster and stronger.

He sat next to me. He ran his eyes all over my face.

"Does it still hurt?" he asked me like a child who immediately nodded. "Where?" it asked.

"Everywhere" I answered here sparingly

He sighed. I held my breath when he suddenly lifted the blanket and laid down next to me. I recoiled because of what it did.

"I won't hurt you. I just want you to feel safe" he said softly.

"O...okay" I stammered here.

Summer and I both turned to the door when Laina entered from there with a glass of milk. Summer raised an eyebrow before handing me the milk.

Summer and I sat together on Laina's bed.

"You're not allowed here Kuya" he said rudely to his brother.

"I'll just make her sleep then I'll go" it explained.

"I can do that" Laina folded her arms this time.

"Please, youngest? I've seen how scared and terrified she is earlier"

Laina looked at me and the way she looked at me softened.

"Fine. I'll stay first with Sister Catalina. Call me if she's asleep" Laina said and took the milk I had used up.

I felt a sense of relief when Laina finally got out. Summer lay down first.

"Come here Jeah" he spread his arm. I don't know but my body willingly followed what it wanted to do. I lay down next to him and turned his arm into a pillow. I feel my careful breathing.

"You can hug me" he said and smiled at me. I just nodded and hugged his body. I also felt him hug me back. I pressed myself into his chest as I felt the warmth of his embrace. He gently patted my shoulder.

"Sleep now, Jeah. I'll watch over you" little by little I fell asleep as I felt the warmth of Summer's presence.

His name suits him. He gives warmth to my cold world.

I woke up when I felt a warm wind blowing my hair. I opened my one eye because I was slightly dazzled by the sunlight.

My eyes widened when I realized where I was lying. I looked up and saw Summer sleeping soundly while hugging me.

I don't know what to do and I can't think straight because my heart is losing. I'm afraid that Summer might feel its pulse too.

I slowly lifted his arm and closed my eyes as he pulled me closer to him and put his head on mine.

Summer!!!!!! How can I get rid of it!

I spent a few moments and when my heart could no longer rest, I tried to lift his arm again and this time I was successful in what I planned.

I fixed myself before leaving the room. I looked at Summer who was still sleeping.

When I went down to the living room, the Salvador couple greeted me. I would have gone back upstairs in case they saw me.

"Good morning" I greeted the two

"Come here Jeah" Aunt Kim called and made me sit next to her.

"Did you sleep well?" Uncle Damon asked

"Yes. I had a good night's sleep. Thank you very much for saving me. If you had not come yesterday, maybe what would have happened to me" I thanked her.

"Nothing. Yadiel is the one you should thank because he insisted on entering your house because he said he was sure you were inside," he explained.

"I know Yadiel and you don't go along well but Jeah Yadiel is kind and caring. Just give him a chance. I know he'll reveal himself to you soon" Aunt Kim caressed my cheek.

"Don't get me wrong but I can see that you suits for the personality of my son. He needs to tame him because he is too brave and seeing him yesterday how he kicked the door and suddenly softened when he saw and hugged you, I know you can break the walls that he built to hide his real self" Tito Damon smiled at me.

"Breakfast is ready" Laina shouted and immediately came to me when she saw me. He pulled me into the kitchen.

I was able to sit at their dining table. This is the first time that his parents will be able to eat with him.

"You're part of us now Jeah" Aunt Kim caressed my cheek before pulling me to the chair.

Laina's parents are so kind that sometimes I can't imagine where Summer inherited her bad temper.

A few moments later, Catalina and Frost joined us for the meal. The dining table was filled with conversation and laughter because of the teasing of the three.

"You didn't wake me up Jeah! When I opened my eyes you were no longer by my side" we all turned to Summer who was obviously just awake because her hair was still messy. I was surprised when he sat down next to me.

I noticed the looks of the people at the dining table moving from one to the other.

"Did you go to bed?" asked Frost.

"Yes" Summer answered without hesitation. I closed my eyes because their parents might get angry because the instruction is that we are not allowed to stay together.

"Didn't I say Yadiel...."

"Mommy, nothing happened between us. I just told her to sleep well" Summer said "You sleep sound right, Jeah?"

All the blood seemed to rise in my face when Summer suddenly asked me in front of her parents. I swallowed because they were all waiting for my answer.

I tried to smile at them and nodded. I simply kicked Summer under the table. It frowned when it looked back at me. I widened my eyes at him because of what he did but he just laughed at me before starting to eat.

"Yes, I know everything is happening too fast for you but I want to inform you that everything is ready for your wedding. Yadiel and you are the only ones waiting" Uncle Damon informed us.

Summer and I looked at each other as if she was asking me for help.

"Uncle....."

"Daddy, Jeah. Call me daddy from now on" he said with a smile. I looked at Summer again but she just smiled at me teasingly.

"Ahhh, Da..dd...yy" I had a hard time saying what Tito Damon wanted but when he heard that from me he smiled

"Summer doesn't have to marry me anymore. It's really okay with me. Then if you want, when something is formed, we can just do what you want" I saw the brightness of Summer's eyes because of what I said.

"Did Brother Yadiel talk to you about this Jeah?" Catalina asked gruffly

"Hey, don't accuse me I don't know anything about that. It's true that I don't really want to get married but I don't want to lose my twins" Summer said while continuing to eat.

"I still don't want to get married. I still have many dreams" I added to what Summer said

"Yes, you can still dream even though you and Yadiel are married," Frost answered.

"And I want you to be my sister now" Laina held my hand.

"Jeah, we are doing this not because we want both of you to be tied with one another but we want you to learn that in every actions there are consequences" Aunt Kim calmly explained

"And you are woman. You shouldn't let what happened to you slip away. I will not allow you to be held accountable by Summer. You will get married whether you want or not" Tito Damon ordered sternly.

I looked at Summer who didn't seem to care and was just eating food. He must have felt that I was looking at him so he also turned to me.

"Don't push anymore. You can't win them all. Don't be choosy. Yadiel Summer in front of you, don't you want it?" he smirked at me while his cheeks were full of food

"You brat! What do you think of me with such a dead face? I have high standards for men" I tormented him in annoyance

"So what do you mean I'm not up to your standard?" Summer stopped eating and looked at me.

"Yes" I couldn't stop smiling because Summer's two eyebrows immediately met while her cheeks were puffy because of the food inside her mouth.

"Stop smiling!" he said annoyed and to tease him even more I gave him a beautiful smile.

"You're ugly" he said and sister again. I heard faint laughter and only then did I realize that there were people with us at the dining table. The Salvadorans held back their laughter because of our little scene with Summer.

After eating, Laina and I were helping to fix the plate when Aunt Kim suddenly entered.

"Yes, we are also planning to transfer you to Laina's school. It will be difficult because your aunts may still visit you" my eyes widened at what he said.

"Oh no! I'm sure the tuition there is expensive, I can't afford to pay"

"Yes, how many times do I have to repeat to you that you are now part of the family. We will take care of you, you don't have to take care and support yourself"

I was stunned by what he said because of the strange joy that came from it. I hugged Aunt Kim tightly.

"Thank you. Thank you so much" I stopped crying. "I promise I will repay everything you did for me"

"As long as you take care of Yadiel Jeah, I'm fine"

"Promise" I smiled and nodded at Aunt Kim.
