Chapter 2 Be my bedwarmer!

"What did you just say? Ellouise Trinidad?" I at once asked, and he quickly glared at me. I need to clarify if what I heard is correct; it has been ages since I heard to that name.

"You knew her?" he astonishingly asked me.

So, I heard him right. I quickly closed the folder I was holding to pay attention to him.

"What's her case?" I asked directly. He handed me the folder Yella had given him earlier, which I quickly accepted.

"It's just about a land case," he answered as I looked at what was inside. "Why? Are you interested? That is just a small case, Hiro; and her defense isn't quite strong." I didn't look at him because I was busy looking at what was written on the paper.

Her file says she is the complainant.

"Her late father owed a lot of money to an elderly woman named Ms. Mrs. Tenor. If I recall correctly, Ms. Trinidad objected and launched a lawsuit against Ms. Mrs. Tenor because the old lady wanted the land to be used to settle all the obligations left behind." Philip explained to me, and I looked at him this time.

"Then what exactly is the issue? Why don't you accept it?" I asked more.

"In addition to the fact that her case is not particularly strong, she is requesting Pro Bono services. She again filed the paperwork indicating that she would pay me half first, although I had previously informed her that I was currently unavailable for a Pro Bono case. I really can't accept her because I have so many unfinished cases. I may stay at El Zey Company for the entire next month. And then, I'll prioritize my fully paid clients after that."

I close the folder. "All right, hand this case over to me," I said thoughtfully, noticing the frown on Philip's forehead again as if wondering.

"Hiro, are you serious? She can't even pay my retainer fee's worth 25,000 pesos per hour compared to you, that 250,000 per hour?" he guesses.

Yes! You read it right. My retainer fee is much higher than others. Trial lawyers are expensive. But of course, it still depends if the case appeals to a higher court. Well, the majority of issues I managed demanded the supreme court; that's why my fee doubled or even tripled in just an hour. "Then I'll make a pro bono," I answered back.

He laughed at me like I was throwing a corny joke. "Seriously, are you kidding me? My god, your signature is so f*cking precious. Tell me, what's the catch?"

I can't help but smirk at him and stand up quickly. I have no intention of answering that. That's too personal.

When I was about to turn my back on him to leave the office, he spoke again, which made me stop. "Did you know that woman, by any chance?"

"Maybe yes, maybe no," I answered, finally leaving the office while I was holding the folder.

Yes. I f*cking knew Ellouise. I knew everything about her, but that was before because now, that will change! It's been almost five years, and I don't expect we'll ever meet again. ESPECIALLY HERE AT MY LAW FIRM! I adjusted my coat and spotted Trixie in the middle of the hallway.

"Head to the waiting area, call Ellouise Trinidad and tell her to meet us in the meeting room. Don't say anything to her."

Trixie responded in a flirty way, "Yes, attorney."

I finally entered the meeting room and sat in front of a long inside table. While waiting for Ellouise, I face the transparent wall and keep smirking out of nowhere. I did not expect that we would meet here again. What is the catch? You will see.

After minutes, I heard a soft knock on the door. I am 100% sure it is Ellouise, so I didn't waste any more time looking back at her. I heard the door close softly until she said, "Attorney Castro?" she called from behind. Her voice is still sweet like before.

She thought I was Philip, so I slowly stood up and faced her. I noticed the automatic widening of her eyes, in shock, maybe when she saw me. I at once make a scan of her from her head to toe, secretly. Nothing much has changed in her except her wavy light brown hair and sexy body, unlike before. Her breast has also grown a bit, which is not what they used to be.

I smirk in my thoughts. She still looks beautiful in her simple white blouse and her faded jeans.

"You seem amused," I said, smirking after scanning her visual.

"H-Hiro." She mentioned my name.

I smirk again. Ellouise was guilty of what she had done before. I noticed it because I am a lawyer.

"Yeah. It's good that you still know me," I said nonchalantly.

She gulped badly. "I'm- I'm here for Attorney Castro, n-not you."

I knew that she was nervous at these times, and I could sense it. I slowly approached her, but she quickly backed away, so I smiled again. "I don't bite... don't be afraid," I smirk.

I started approaching her again; this time, she remained stiff while fighting my gaze.

"Ellouise Trinidad, I didn't expect that we would meet here," I said while looking directly into her eyes. There was no emotion in the tone of my voice because I was not sure if I was happy to meet her again.

"Y-yeah, I also didn't expect to see you here, H-Hiro Del Fierro," she said, stuttering.

We stared at each other for a few minutes and seemed to be reading each other's thoughts. Ellouise didn't even look bothered.

"Why don't we take a seat so we can talk more properly and comfortably?" I said and turned my back on her.

I was about to return to the table when she spoke again, which took me a little aback.

"As I've already stated, I'm not here for you but for attorney Philip Castro. So, please stop talking to me and show me, my lawyer. I have to speak to him. I have no business to discuss with you," she said emphatically. I faked a smile and ignored what she said, and went straight to the table. I took the folder that belonged to her and held it. I noticed that she also threw a gaze and suddenly seemed surprised.

"Are you talking about this business? Are you going to take a seat now?"

"Who gave you that?!" she asked, approaching me angrily.

"What do you think?" I remained calm with the words I was uttering.

"I don't have time to think, and I don't have time for this nonsense, Hiro!"

That is the thing that I like about her; she is too confident and bold. "I can help you with your case. I'm one of the best lawyers in the country-"

"Is it free?" she cutted me off. "I don't care if you're a great lawyer-I only want to know if it's free! I don't give a damn who you are or how good you are; all I need is a lawyer who can assist me with my case without charging too much. I am not as wealthy as you or your other clients. You know how poor I am, right? Maybe you are aware that I can't even pay you anything. That's why I'm asking you if it's free."

I feigned a laugh because of what she said and then slowly approached her. I stare at her for about 10 seconds- literally.

It feels like I am the one who owes something to her, which is why I secretly feel annoyed. It's as if she didn't do anything wrong to me, and most of all, it's as if she didn't hurt me!

I gritted my teeth to control my anger. "We can discuss that because I know you can't afford a professional attorney like me to handle your case, but I can't let you take advantage of me for free. There's no free in this world," I said in her ear. "You are aware of my empathy for those in need. Right? It's as if you don't remember how soft-hearted your ex-boyfriend- I mean, ME!"

You read it right. Ellouise is my ex-girlfriend who left me without any reason five years ago! She suddenly disappeared and forgot about our almost two years relationship, and this is our first meeting after she ghosted me for five years.

She quickly turned her head at me, making the distance between our faces small. Just a little bit of moves of her face or my face, we might end up kissing each other,

She looked at me boldly again. "I know you, Hiro, and what do you want in return? To punish me for what I did in the past. Tell me! Are you going to make me suffer for leaving you? For hurting you?"

"I'm not a bitter one, Ellouise. I don't hold any grudges. My life has moved on since you decided to leave. Look at where I am right now. Do you honestly believe that if you leave me without explaining why, I'll suffer alone? We're not inside a novel, Ellouise. Where not a character inside a book, this is a reality."

"Then what do you want?! Tell me now so that I can prepare myself.

"Be mine again and fulfill my lustful nights. I want your body. I want your service in exchange for my service. Be my bedwarmer! That's what I want!" I answered directly, which caused her to stop; maybe she didn't expect me to say that.

But, well, I'm deadly serious about it. I want Ellouise; I mean, I want her body! I want to f*ck her so severely and let out my anger through it. I want her to feel how hard my life was when she suddenly disappeared from my life. I know it will be against the law, but I will make sure that she gets what she needs in her case, and in return, of course, I will also get what I want. And that is to make her naked in front of me.
