Chapter 9 Make Ellie Regret

After a few seconds, the transfer of the ten million dollars to Tristan's account was completed.

As soon as he received the notification from the bank, he got so excited that his heartbeat went abnormally fast.

Now that he had enjoyed the pleasure of squandering and the benefits of having outstanding cooking skills, he naturally hoped to obtain more wealth and skills from the system.

He was actually glad the system released the second task so soon.

Tristan thought for a while. How would he spend the ten million dollars in seventy-two hours? Then he suddenly remembered he didn't have a place to live yet. Everyone in the university already knew he was dumped by Ellie. If he returned there now, he would be pointed at and talked about by them. So it was better for him to buy a house outside.

If he and Ellie had broken up peacefully, then it wouldn't be a big deal. He would not hate her.

However, she did not only cheat on him but also colluded with Kevin to ruin his reputation. He lost face because of them.

"If I had only known that I have been keeping a mad dog these past three years," Tristan murmured to himself, gnashing his teeth in anger.

He tried to comfort himself, but he was still unwilling to let this matter go. This was only normal. After all, he was cheated on by Ellie. No one could blame him for hating her.

Tristan swore to himself that from now on, he would finish more system tasks to become richer. Then he would show that bitch Ellie how weak Kevin was in front of him.

However, he didn't know much about the real estate market in Aylbupool. So he needed someone's help. After thinking for a while, he decided to ask Lillian about it.

He found the business card she had given him and called her. "Lillian, do you know any luxury houses for sale nearby?"

Lillian was stunned for a moment. "Is a villa okay?"

"Yes, of course."

For Tristan, it didn't matter whether it was a villa or a grand apartment. He could live anywhere as long as the property cost ten million dollars.

"Great! Have you heard of Stalpree Villas? I have a roommate who works there as a sales person. If you have time, we can go there now to have a look," Lillian said enthusiastically, smiling warmly.
