Chapter 8 The Second Task

Everyone in the kitchen was stunned. Although Zane said it in a low voice, they all heard it. They looked at him in disbelief. Was it for real? Did he really admit defeat?

None of them had imagined that this proud and arrogant man who had been working as a chef for more than twenty years would back down and lower his head to a college student.

"No, this can't be! This is impossible! Uncle, how can you admit defeat to a poor guy like Tristan, who has never even had a proper meal?" Kevin murmured in disbelief.

But no matter how much he refused to believe, the truth in front of him was undeniable. Zane would never lie to him.

"Call the security guards!" At this moment, Lillian asked the kitchen crew to call the security guards. When they came over, she pointed at Kevin and said, "Drive this man out! He made trouble for our distinguished guest."

With that, the security guards dragged Kevin out of Breezy Hotel unceremoniously and threw him on the road like rubbish.

Ellie, who had been waiting outside, saw Kevin stumble on the side of the road. She hurried forward and asked, "Kevin, what happened? Why do you look so pale? Did your uncle deal with Tristan? Where is Tristan now? Is he doomed?"

"Nothing... happened..." Kevin faltered. "We didn't get a chance to deal with Tristan. He ran away when he saw us."

"He ran away?" Ellie was confused at first. But soon, she realized she shouldn't be surprised anymore. After all, Tristan was just a poor man. How could he dare to fight against Kevin?

In the kitchen of Breezy Hotel, everyone was still in shock. They never thought a college student had excellent cooking skills.
