Chapter 4 in the Park

Chapter 4

"Kerem, you've been holding my hand for a while, aren't you tired?"

Kerem stopped eating Ice cream, He stared at me while smiling, It was as if I was with a different person now because of his smile.

We were here in the Park to take a walk but because I breathed right away we just sat down, Kerem has been so strange these past few hours, He always smiles when he looks at me.

"Ezra, promise me, Don't cry today, Just smile and be happy." he said, he patted my head and smiled, I just smiled at him too.

"I want you to be happy so always be happy and don't let others control you." Kerem said to me seriously, he is still holding my hand, he doesn't want to let go.

"Doctor." A man called me who suddenly appeared in front of me, I was surprised when he held my hand and kissed the top of it.

"Hey, are you dreaming of dying? if you have no request to die, get lost." Kerem took my hand that the man was holding earlier, The man snorted and scratched his head.

I just signaled him to leave because I want my time to be with Kerem, He is the most important today.

"Ezra, why are you suddenly silent? do you want to go home, are you tired?" Kerem stood up when I didn't answer his question, he picked up my bag and put it on his shoulder, I was surprised when he suddenly picked me up and walked away from the bench.

"Kerem, A lot of people, Put me down, A lot of people can see us." Kerem didn't answer, he just grinned and continued walking while I got up.

"Honny, look at them, Their sweet you should lift me too." said the woman whom Kerem and I met, I just covered my face with my bag because of shame.

When we arrived in front of the car, Kerem just dropped me off, I entered the car with raised eyebrows, Kerem just laughed at my reaction.

While Kerem was driving, he held my hand with one of his hands. While traveling, I couldn't handle my sleepiness anymore and just fell asleep.

"Ezra, we need to talk." I woke up when Kerem removed his hold on my palm, I stared at him and the Kerem I knew was back, The Kerem with no emotion visible on his face.

"Kerem, we can talk inside the house." I babysit him, he follows what I want to happen.

When we entered the house, I first sat on the Couch to lean my back while Kerem stood and stared at me with no emotion on his face.

"Ezra, I saw the Annulment paper on the Table, I have already signed." it was like cold water was poured on me because of what he said.

I got up from sitting, I ran to my room where the paper was and suddenly my tears started to flow when I saw his signature there.

"I know you've been wanting to divorce me for a long time, I don't want you to wait so I've already signed, If you have nothing to say I'm leaving." he ordered, my hand shaking as I grabbed the pen.

"Kerem, I won't sign it." I faced him and he stopped opening the door when he saw my tears.

"Ezra, I love someone else and our relationship is hopeless, we both want it so sign that." I suddenly lost my balance, he quickly approached me but I pushed him away.

"Kerem, m-do you love someone else? I know you, we've been married for a year and I'm the only woman you've always been with." He looked away, I suddenly felt pain in my heart because of his looking away.

"Do you love someone else? O-okay, I'll sign." I picked up the ballpen, I signed the paper even against my will. "Hope you enjoy the new chapter of your life, Goodbye Kerem." I walked out of the room.

I feel very heavy and my eyes are blurring because of the water that accumulates there, With every step I take, tears fall down my cheeks.

"Thank you for being my husband for 4 years, 4 months, 3 weeks, 11 hours, 9 minutes and 18 seconds, Goodbye, Mr. Kerem Callis."

When I got into my car, it was very difficult for me to activate it, it was as if my heart was stopping me but my mind was fighting.

"I know you're tired so I'm letting you go, I don't want you locked up in my world, Ezra Aydem."

"Lucas, what is happening to your daughter? I agreed to let him live here but his life seemed to be a mess."

"I don't know, She's been like that for a week, she doesn't want to leave the room, I don't want to force Ezra, I'm not like you."

I can hear Mommy and Dad shouting outside my room, My whole body is covered in a blanket, I haven't left the house for a week, I just cry inside my room and my parents can't do anything but regret .

"Aunt, Uncle, I'll take care of Ezra." I removed the blanket from my whole body when I heard Irish's voice. "Ezra, I'm coming in, can I? I'm the only one here, I sent Tito and Tita away first." I walked towards the door and slowly opened it.

When I opened the door, Irish hugged me quickly, He didn't let me go, his hug was very tight but I wasn't hurt by his hug, My tears just fell on his arm and he calmed me down.

I sat on the bed while he was on the floor holding my hand, he was wiping my tears that were falling but no matter what he wiped it didn't stop.

"Ezra, I'm just here, I'll accompany you until the Ezra I know comes back, you're not alone." when he calmed me down, he handed me a tissue to wipe my tears that were dripping down my cheeks.

"I thought we were happy, I just thought, I'm a fool to believe so quickly, I-Irish said he loves someone else, Where am I? I was left." Irish took my hand and squeezed it, she stood up and picked up my phone that was on the couch.

She opened my phone and I tried to snatch it from her when I saw that all the pictures and videos of Kerem and I were erased by her, All my memories with Kerem were erased by her.

"Irish." He turned off my phone when he finished erasing my memories there with Kerem, He stood up and circled my entire room, He came back in front of me with diaries, gifts, clothes and wedding pictures.

He placed it in front of me, it was placed in a large box, I stood up from my sitting position when he left my room, I just followed him to the back of the house.

"Ezra, I will be your start for the new you." My uncle frowned at what he said, He left first and while he was gone I looked at my memories of Kerem.

I held the yellow hoodie that Kerem gave me as I held it as if I was back in high school where Kerem gave it to me.

"Ezra, where did you go?" I was worried about Kerem's question to me when I left the Room, he stared at my uniform before staring into my eyes.

"In the Room, I took my book for the Exam later." He stepped closer to me so I stepped because he was so close.

"Is your room trashed? Why is your uniform so dirty? I just saw you earlier and you're still so clean, It's not even an hour before it's like that? Are they bullying you?" He asked, I nodded because that was the truth, he pulled me to one side, I was surprised when he took off his hoodie and put it on me.

I lost my balance because of those worries, Kerem who was always there to help me with my problems disappeared, Kerem my friend left me, Why, Why?

"That's all." I stared at the big box that Irish threw in front of me, I immediately pushed him to see that he was going to burn it.

"Irish, are you crazy? Why are you going to burn them, Kerem gave them to me." I shouted, Irish snorted and gave me the lighter.

"In order for you to forget Keren, you must first remove from the world the things he gave you because every time you see them, you will never forget him." My hand was shaking while holding the lighter, While I was holding it my tears fell.

"I-I can do this, No, I can't."
