Chapter 3

I didn't go home for a few weeks because I was so hurt by what I saw, my father just forced me to go home because news might spread about my relationship with Kerem.

When I entered the house I saw Kerem, Our eyes met, he walked in front of me, His eyes were cold.

"You haven't come home for a week and three days, Give me a reason, The real reason." Kerem's question suddenly made me nervous, maybe I'm just used to not knowing about each other's lives.

"I'm on vacation, my work is so hard that I need to relax." When I lie.

He was staring at me seductively, I looked away because I felt that my heart was beating too fast.

"If you don't say anything, I'll go to my room." I stepped out in front of him but he stopped me when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him.

"What do you think?" Kerem stared at me again, he was so close as if he didn't know the word personal space.

I was surprised when he slowly rubbed my lips with his hand, I immediately pushed him away from me but he hugged me tightly, he leaned his head on my shoulder causing me to stop pushing him.

"I really miss you, I thought you wouldn't come back, Please Ezra, don't leave me, I'll accompany you wherever you want to go, Just stay by my side." I suddenly felt strange at what Kerem said, but as he approached me, I could smell the wine coming from him.

"Kerem, are you drunk? Ack, you smell like alcohol, why am I still asking."

"This is the first time I drank, I drank because I'm afraid you won't come back." Kerem's hug on my body tightened as if he didn't want to let me go, I walked closer to the couch to lay him down there.

"Kerem, let go, how can you lie down if you're hugging me? Are you sure? can you hear me? Are you sure? Nice! Ack." No matter what I screamed, Kerem didn't speak because he fell asleep while hugging me.

I loosened his hug from my body to lay him properly on the couch, Kerem's room is on the second floor and I can't carry him upstairs.

When I put Kerem to bed I went up to my room to get the blanket and pillow, I was going to get the blanket and pillow from his room but I remembered the number one rule here at home.

"you can do what you want to do but you can't enter my room and use my things."

After I got the things I needed to get, I went downstairs to bring them to Kerem who was in the living room and was fast asleep.

"Kerem, is what you told me true? Do you really want me to leave you? Did you really get drunk because of me?" I asked Kerem who was sleeping soundly. When I managed to wake up Kerem, I got up to go to my room.

"Ezra, don't leave me, just stay beside me, I'll give you everything just don't leave me."

I stopped walking because of what Kerem said, I stood next to him while holding his hand, He was sweating so much even though it was cold, He looked like he was dreaming.

The next morning I woke up in my room, I quickly went downstairs for Kerem, Good thing we met before he left the house.

"Kerem." I called his name, he stopped walking, I ran to him and hugged him tightly.

When I released my hug from him, I saw that there was no emotion on his face, as if he was not happy.

"Good Morning Kere.–" I stopped talking when he spoke.

"Why did you do that? Why did you hug me? you know i don't want to be hugged." My heart seemed to be split in two because of what Kerem told me.

"You don't want to be hugged anymore, but if you are the one who did it, is it okay? I just hugged you because-" I didn't continue what I was going to say because it was useless.

"I can't understand you Ezra, I haven't hugged you yet so why do you seem to say that I'm hugging you." The tears that I had been holding back started to fall down my cheeks but I didn't see any emotion on Kerem's face.

"Kerem." Kerem and I both looked at the door when we saw .

"Good Morning Yaya Madel, Are the two of them together or is Mommy Eda the only one there?" I asked Yaya madel who was cleaning the table.

I'm here at Kerem's parents' house, Saturday today so I have to come here because I promised, I really don't want to come here because Mommy Eda will tease me to give her Grandson.

Nanny Madel had not yet answered when Mom (Kerem Mom) suddenly appeared with a pie that looked like it had just come out of the oven.

"Hija." He hugged me and kissed my cheek. "You're so beautiful, Uh, let's not talk here." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the Kubo inside the Garden that he took great care of.

When we went inside, I wasn't surprised to see Mommy was there too, they are both good friends so Mommy is always here.

"Ezra, what have you done in the past week and three days? You think I don't know? You are wasting Time and Day." I haven't sat properly yet but this is what I immediately heard.

"Mommy, is everything I'm telling you necessary? In that one week and three days, I felt that I was free, like I don't want to go back if it's necessary if that's what you want." I said calmly but that made him angry, he slammed the fan he was holding on the table causing the coffee to spill on the floor.

"Ema, I remember you were cooking in the Kitchen? It might burn if you don't watch it." Mom (Kerem Mom) stared at me and signaled to me that she was about to leave.

When Mom left, Mommy blurted out of anger, she stared at me as if she was threatening me, I just took a sip of the Coffee in front of me to avoid her gaze.

"Mommy, if you just stare at me I will leave, the hospital needs my time more than this." I was about to get up to leave when Mommy suddenly kicked the chair to block my path.

"Sit down Ezra, We haven't finished talking, Just a few months since we haven't met you've changed, Is that what your Father teaches you? Should I ban you from going to his house." When he threatened, I stared at him with a frown.

My relationship with him won't really be good because of what he does, It's like he's not my son, If it wasn't for Daddy I wouldn't have faced him.

"Why are you like that? Why do you make me a Toy? I've done everything you want, I got married even though I didn't want to, I became a doctor even though my dream didn't work, I did everything you want, why don't you still want to stop me? I've given you what you want, stop me." He got up from sitting and suddenly slapped me.

"Mom!" I looked to my side when I heard Kerem's voice, I could see the anger building up in his eyes as he stared at Mommy.

"Kerem, Don't bother with this, Looks like I need to teach your Wife good manners." I thought No Emotion Kerem was angry now, He held my hand to soothe my Anger.

"Mom, Before you teach my wife good manners, teach yourself first, If you have nothing more to say, my wife and I will leave." I couldn't believe what Kerem said, Mommy didn't answer anything, Kerem pulled me out of the House.

"This is the last day I will help you, are you okay?" I didn't understand what Kerem said but it was like he was saying goodbye to the last day he was saying.

"Why did you come here? Does your team have a new project? You should always be with them because they need you, you're the leader right?" When I changed our conversation, I looked at Kerem when he didn't speak.

When I looked at him, he was staring at our hands that were holding each other, I was trying to loosen his grip on mine but I couldn't do it.

"I want to hold your hand until the end of this day because it will never happen again."
