Chapter 3 I am pregnant

"Nice meeting you Paco...where are you heading to?" Madison asked with a smile ...she looked so innocent, caring, and beautiful without a taint of evil.

"I just arrived here...I am searching for a job" Paco said making Madison smile.

"Ok then ...thanks for the help, how about I drop you off at your place?" She offered and Paco didn't know how to let her know he has no home ..he doesn't even know any street.

"I don't have any home...I just arrived in Dela Costa " He said shyly and Madesson stared at him in shock.

"Oh ok....enough of the talking, why don't you follow me first ...then you could return and start searching for a job ?" Madison asked and Paco immediately accepted...he had no choice, it is not as if he has a place to sleep or had what to eat.

"Sure thanks, "Paco said before following her....he gasped in shock seeing her car...why does such a young girl get such a beautiful and expensive car, but he doesn't own even a key.

"What are you looking at? Hop in" Madesson said removing him from his trance.

He hopped in and they drove away...he didn't have time to admire the little city because just one thought ran through his head ...how is he going to make money, he needs to make money to care for his sister and girlfriend in the province....the province was underdeveloped...he can't imagine how developed this place is, which means if he goes to Santa Babara, he does be more than fascinated with the beauty.

They drove into a huge bungalow mansion.

Paco looked around in surprise...did she live here?.

They got down and walked into the sitting room....a man in his fifties sat there as a king with a powerful aura surrounding him.

"Dad" Madesson walked towards him with a smile.

"When did you return ?" She asked her dad ....Mr. Spark smiled at his only daughter and family, he has done everything possible just for her to have everything she desires...she could be termed as a spoilt brat, but she was kind and respectful..irrespective of the money they had.

"I just arrived and decided to wait for you," He said and Madesson sat beside him.

"I missed you Dad," She said and hugged him tightly...Paco stood there watching the scene and Mr Spark's eyes stopped towards Paco.

"Who is he?" He asked out of curiosity.

"Oh Dad you can't believe what happened to me today, I had gotten the company project in a USB flash as you had required...but on my way, a thug tried robbing me of it ..but Paco helped me" She explained and her dad clenched his fist in anger.

"You were robbed? Am sure it all that stupid Koradin family" Mr Spark said while gritting his teeth in anger.

"I thought the same Dad...but am fine now and even got the flash" She assured the man who just nodded....he walked towards Paco and sent his hands forward for a handshake.

"I appreciate my son," He said and Paco immediately accepted his handshake...he wasn't going to let a rich man's hand hang...they were all Korean but due to the poor condition he had grown up from. ...his body was less fair and he could even bet that Andan was more beautiful than this Madison lady if she was to put on these classic wear and makeup.

"Thanks, sir," he said before staring at the smiling Madison.

"you just saved me from a huge shame....my blood rival would have succeeded against me ...what can I do for you? Name it" Mr Spark said making Paco's heart jump in joy...things he thought only happen in dreams just happened to him.

"I don't know if am asking too much...but am from the province and don't have anywhere to stay, if it is ok with you ...can you offer me a job?" He asked straight forward and Mr Spark was a little speechless...why will someone leave the province for the city where he doesn't have a place to live ..this place is a danger zone, he don't know what he was messing with.

"Ok, fine Paco...I will give you a job, Madesson I will be going out now...I need to settle the scores" Mr Spark said before walking out....she felt nervous as she knew her dad was heading to the Korina mansion...he doesn't know why the two families are blood enemies...no one speaks about it, they were told never to speak or laugh with a member of the Korina family.

"Uhm...I will tell them, maids, to serve you...I will go upstairs" Madesson said before leaving..she needed some rest as she had a headache trying to understand the Korina family problem.

-----A week later----

Paco was offered the job of a driver as he knew how to drive from the province...he worked so hard and he also saw the attempts the Korina family used to attack the Spark family...but he was always there to protect Mr Spark.

He always follows him to his company which produces the best technology products and the latest phones available...he worked hard as he had a dream when he arrived here.

He decided to cool himself off with the employee pool at the back of the mansion...he kept swimming while thinking of Andan ...he missed her a lot.

"How does it feel?" He heard a voice from the poolside...he stared at Madesson with a smile.

"It is refreshing," He said referring to the water.

"Ok," She said shortly and sat on the pool bench.

Paco walked out of the water revealing his well-built chest ...Madesson drooled at his sight, he was indeed handsome and cute.

He took a towel and dried his body before approaching her.

"It's late miss...why are you not asleep?" He asked and Madison let out a heavy sigh.

"Am not able to sleep...am worried about my dad, he has a lot of enemies and you must have seen it for yourself" Madesson said making Paco curious..he has seen many people attempt on Mr Spark's life but he was always there to fight them off as he was good at that.

"Am scared he might leave the house one day and never return...he is my only source of happiness...and all these problems because of money, sometimes I wish we were just a poor and happy family living in a little hut" Madesson said causing Paco to laugh out.

"Life is indeed an irony ...am here working my ass out, just that I could have money ..but you want to be poor?" He asked while shaking his head...he is poor now and knows the feeling already.

"Paco it's life...what's the essence of being rich and not happy?" Madesson asked and Paco must admit she looked just like Andan in this case.

"Your dad is probably doing all this to guarantee your safety in the future...and as long as am always around him, I will make sure to protect him," Paco said and Madison smiled at him.

Mr spark stood at the pool door eavesdropping to their discussion....he felt a little hurt that his daughter worried a lot about him...the Korina family are his biggest enemies, not just business rivals ..but blood rivals.

He needed someone to protect his daughter no matter what because he can't guarantee he will be safe forever...she was just an innocent girl and he can't leave her alone to experience the difficulties of life.

"Paco, do you know you are the only friend I have so far? "She asked making Paco curious but he did not bother asking why.

"Andan why do you feel so weak? Did you eat something bad?" Mami asked before placing a cold towel on her forehead.

Andan had fainted this morning so she already sent Mary to get the community doctor to check on her.

"Mami I don't know," She said in a weak tone.

"Mami here he is," Mary said while directing the doctor in...they gave him space so that he could check on her.

He checked her pulse and was having a little doubts so he carried out more tests before confirming his doubt.

He knows Mami as the whole community loves her...she is considered the mother of their community, so he thought this news was going to break her down, but he needed to break the news...he was ready to treat her if she suffers any attack.

"Mami ...she is pregnant," He said and Mami stared at him with shock...she stared at Andan then at Mary ...she doesn't know how to react ...was history repeating itself or what? Was this a family heritage?

"What are you saying?" Mary asked as well...she was a little shocked...why will her brother ever do such.

"Andan" Mami called remembering that morning they argued about carrying a baby ...she knows it was an intentional act, she has ruined her life intentionally.

"Am pregnant? Thanks, doctor" Andan said to the doctor who looked surprised seeing a 19-year-old beautiful lady happy about being pregnant out of marriage.

"I will leave now," He said then walked out...Mami sat down on a chair without having any words to express how broken she was...

Andan stared at her and she felt hurt...she had expected her grandma to yell at her to free her mind ..but her grandma was speechless, without saying anything you could see she was disappointed.

"Mami " Mary called out before walking towards her...

"Mami says something," Andan said as well but Mami looked completely pale and fragile ...she felt useless not being able to save her granddaughter...she had no energy to scream and yell, she was just an old and weak woman ..she did not even want to look in Andan eyes.

-------1 months later-----

Paco has become close to Madison and Mr. Spark also admired him for his honesty and trust...he was summoned by Mr. Spark in his office.

"Sir" He called from the door

"You can have a sitter," Mr Spark said and Paco nodded before walking towards the sit opposite him.

"Do you have a family? He asked making Paco think hard before answering.

"I have just a sister," Paco said and he nodded...he had wanted to know about his marital status, and his doubts were clarified.

"Am.leaving for some days and placing my daughter in your care.... in case of any news, don't ever leave till am back," He said Paco looked confused but he nodded ...he was his boss after all.

Madison walked to the dining and met her dad already eating...they were the only ones present.

"Dad," she said before giving him a peck.

"Come have dinner," He said and she pushed a chair and sat down.

"Dad, are you leaving this evening ?" She asked and he nodded.

"Can you leave tomorrow instead? It's late and you have a lot of enemies" Madesson pleaded but her dad just shook his head...

He needed to leave today and not later.

"Am sorry but I have to leave now" He said and Madesson just gave up in trying to convince her dad because she knows she will never be successful.

"Dad when you back I want to discuss something with you," She said shyly.

"Is it about Paco?"He asked making Madesson's eyes widen in shock.

"I have to get going now ...later, Paco will stay back and take care of you," He said and hugged his daughter before walking out.

He walked out with tears rolling down his cheeks ...he felt pain and a lot of emotions just by walking out and leaving his precious daughter.

Madison woke up in the morning with a sleepy head...she walked downstairs before stopping in her track...she saw Paco and a few authorities standing downstairs with sad expressions...Paco looked sad as well.

"What's going on here?" She asked.

"Maddy" Paco called before staring at the authorities.

"Miss Spark we have news to break out to you....your dad is gone, he died last night," He said causing Madison to freeze on the spot...she just talked to her dad last night so how could they give her such joking news.

"What prank are you all playing on me? My dad is alive "Madesson said in an angry tone.

"Maddy calm down and listen to them" Paco tried calming her.

"No ..you all get out of my house ..my dad can never be dead" She scolded angrily before she saw some guys carry a bed in ...they placed it on the floor making her heartbeat accelerate...she walked towards the bed and removed the shit, she fell back in shock...her dad lied there lifelessly.

Paco moved towards her and hugged her tightly trying to assure her...he also felt pain as Mr. Spark was a kind man ...but maybe his enemy the Korina family succeeded this time around..he now felt a lot of hate for that family...he just can't express it.

"Paco they succeeded in killing my Innocent dad" She cried out...she was scared a day like this will come but not today...not just this morning.

"Maddy cry your pain out...I understand how you feel, I also loved him a lot" Paco said causing Madison to cry more ...she clenched her fist angrily looking at her dad's corpse on the floor and It was all thanks to the Korina family...she was sure they where rejoicing now while she cries.

Days passes by and Madesson started feeling better with the help of Paco...he was there to always take her mind away from thinking and missing her dad.

She sat alone waiting for the sole called Lawyer...she was her dad's only family so she don't why he needed to write a will when it shows clearly that she is the heiress.

Paco walked in with the lawyer by his side.

"Maddy" He called her out of her trance before turning to leave them to have privacy.

"Mr. Dempsey ..can you have a sit as well," The lawyer said making him look confused...he stared at Maddy who nodded for him to sit, he sat down and waited for the lawyer to do his job.

"According to Mr. Spark all his properties both liquified and liquified go to his daughter and Mr. Paco Dempsey," He said causing Paco to stand up in shock...Maddy also stared at the lawyer In shock.

"But Mr Spark had a final wish he had told me yesterday night before traveling....he wants Paco to marry his daughter then care for her and his business as he trusts you alone will be able to do that," The lawyer said and Paco was confused and dumbstruck...he just got rich in seconds...this was like a dream, but him getting married to Maddy was out of topic.

"If you accept to marry Miss Spark ...all the shares and money of the company will be transferred into a joint account for you both...think about it," He said and Maddy stared at him anxiously.

She remembered the night her dad left, she. had told him he had something to say when he was back...her dad seemed to understand what she wanted to say, she was about to tell him how she had fallen in love with Paco, but her dad was already aware of everything.

She was sad her dad was gone, but this is one of the biggest wishes he was fulfilling for her...she wanted to be his wife despite what.

"What are you saying? I can't marry her" Paco finally said.

"It's ok, I understand you don't want to marry me...Lawyer, can you cancel that class? " Maddy asked the lawyer In a sad tone.

"Maddy I did not mean to say that" Paco apologize because he sounded rude saying he doesn't want to marry her..he respected her a lot, and he regretted not telling her about his girlfriend if he says it now ...she might take it as an excuse.

"Mr. Dempsey it's ok if you don't want to marry her...all the shares which were supposed to be yours will be transferred to the orphanage as per Mr Spark's order," The lawyer said and Paco was confused about what to do ...he did not want such a big amount of money to pass him by, but he loves his girlfriend a lot and won't want to betray her.
