Chapter 2 Meeting Alpha Nicholas

Valley pack

I'm back at the valley pack. I'm so sure my Alpha isn't going to be happy to see me. I'm like a curse in this pack. I walked slowly to the Alpha's office. "Roselyn, you can come in." Alpha Rooke said. "So I'm going to be as fast as possible, Roselyn you cannot stay in this pack, and darling it is not because I hate you but you are seen as a plague here. It's not like anyone would walk into your office for any medical reasons." Alpha Rooke said Yeah, that's my Alpha, always straight to the point. Alpha Rooke hates beating around the bush. With him, you know you get the message fast. I was actually expecting these words from him but what I wasn't expecting was the next statement he said after these. "Thankfully, a new Alpha has just arisen in the BloodMoon pack and they are in need of a pack doctor. Just to let you know I have forwarded your name to them, and you are to transfer to that pack." Alpha Rooke said. "But but .... Alpha I think I should have a say in this decision." I replied "We both know in this pack that nobody would be coming to you for any assistance. I spoke to your father, and he's okay with the idea." Alpha Rooke said. "Roselyn you know I consider you a daughter and I know leaving this pack would be better for you. Starting fresh again, where no one really knows you. I see the problems you're facing in this pack, I can only force them to be civil towards you, I can't force the normal affection and care they should show you." Alpha Rooke spoke with pity in his eyes. "I know what's best for you, that's why I'm transferring you Rosie." Alpha Rooke said. "Okay Alpha, when do I leave for the BloodMoon pack" "Rosie, it's only a week you have to take your leave," Alpha Rooke said. I left the Alpha's office and I met my father at home with an upside down newspaper. "Dadddddd I don't know why you would conspire with the Alpha to transfer me from this pack. Dad why!" I screamed Rosie, this pack isn't helping you. Darling you are holding on by a strand. Do you think I don't know your wolf is dying? I can hardly feel her Rosie!" My father said, I collapsed and dad held me tight to pacify me. "Baby I know you are going through so much but you can overcome all this" Dad said. "Rosie, honey please don't cry, you will get another mate," my mom said "Mom when!!! When! I waited twenty-eight years to get one!" with tears rolling down my cheek I murmured the word one! "Mom, am I not worthy of love, I try my best to be a better person! I'm not asking for too much Mom. I just want a loving mate like you have!" I screamed. I'm going to elect my beta, gamma, and deltas. So if you know you can take on that position you will have to come out. It's a challenge, for anyone to tap out first. Now I don't mind females fighting and winning these positions. This is a new era for the BloodMoon pack. I said while walking to the pack house, on my way to my office a tall pink woman obstructed my view. "It will do you no good to offend my wolf, lady step aside," I said, She raised her chin up and looked me in the eye "Brother even if it's been a long time and you've forgotten me, has your wolf also forgotten me?" Cecilia said with her shoulders dropping down. I inhaled the air around me and my wolf took in her scent, she truly smelled like my mother. "Oh Ceecee I will never forget you, I have only been preoccupied. My main aim was to come to save you too. I need this pack to be in full action", I said. Oh brother I thought you hated me so much you left me in this pack, Cecilia said while wiping her tears with her left hand. I murmured as I was checking the files on my table. I perceived a faint scent, one that smelled like a wolf was dying, which only occurs on rare occasions, mostly when a wolf is going into depression due to rejection from their mate. Most tend to die the moment their wolf dies. Koooor, kooor Come in, I said. It came as a shock to me when this lady introduced herself as a doctor from the Valley pack, only for me to raise my head and my wolf screamed MATE!!! in my head. She must not have recognized me as her second chance mate because there wasn't any glint of her wolf looking through her eyes. That's good because I know there is no love in me to offer to her. I didn't even want a mate to start with. She could be used against me to stop me from avenging my parents. All Matteo's supporters must go down the pit through my hands. Doctor Roselyn, I'm Alpha Nicholas welcomed to the BloodMoon pack" I said while stretching my hands towards her. "You will resume duty tomorrow and I will also need you to train a few of the ladies here on basic medical care methods. Most of them haven't stepped out of this pack" I said. She was looking lifeless, I don't even want to wonder what she has been through, I just need her to do her job." "Can you do that?" I said. "Yes, Alpha...." Roselyn murmured expecting him to give her his name but Nicholas ignored her. "Alpha is good enough, you can go," Nicholas said. She was still standing where she was after I had dismissed her. She was behaving like a broken record. "Hey, Dr. Roselyn you can go" l screamed. "Alpha Nicholas, I won't disappoint you, but if I'm going to train some of your females, I will need them to be respectful towards me," Roselyn said. "Show them respect, and you will get respect in return," I said. "One last thing Dr. Roselyn everyone trains in this pack, so be ready tomorrow at 5 am, failure to do that will attract punishment," I said "But I'm a doctor, a pack doctor's duty is to treat people and not help break their bones" Roselyn objected. "Well you are in a new pack where we are interested in all packmates, everyone must be able to fend for themselves here," I said, "I thought you're a betas' daughter, so why the complaint," I said. "I haven't trained before, instead I wait to take care of the injured wolves," Roselyn said. "See you at the training ground by 5 am Dr. Roselyn," I dismissed her. "Oh and don't come late," I said, as she was passing through the door. The Training Ground Everyone was fighting and tackling each other or trying to, only Roselyn looked lost in their midst. My trusted bands of misfits weren't in the training ground because obviously only one of them would singlehanded beat everyone on this training ground to stupor. I blew my whistle to signal them to stop, "everyone stop we are going to pick a partner we are all training with" I said Everyone picked a partner, only Roselyn looked left alone because she hadn't made any friends, from nowhere Cecilia held her hands. Roselyn really stuck out like a sore thumb and it was obvious that she didn't know how to fight, how she survived all this years I really don't know because a wolf in his teenage years could beat the shit out of her. I know she wouldn't be getting the respect she so much needs because I for one don't even have respect for her. Respect should be earned, and so far, she's doing a poor job about it. "I will be your partner," Cecilia said, Roselyn just nodded her head looking lost like a headless chicken. "No one must shift into their wolf, we are training in our human form because your wolf is as strong as your human and vice versa," I said. Someone hit the drums for the training to begin. Dong!!!! Roselyn saw her ass landing on the floor like it was an instrument for sweeping the floor. "Ouch, why would you hit me like that, I wasn't even prepared" Roselyn screamed "Your enemies won't wait for you to get prepared," Cecilia muttered. "You see an advantage, you attack. That's how the game works" Cecilia said while dusting the dirt on her sleeve. "Stop chatting and continue training." I screamed. And just like the first time, Roselyn's ass kisses the floor this time with her neck bent at another weird angle. After every ass-kissing, Cecilia stretches her hands to Roselyn, for her to grab it. Then she proceeds to land her ass on the ground again. At the end of the training, Roselyn left with numerous bruises circling her body. "It's nice meeting you, I'm Cecilia '' Cecilia said while stretching her hand for a handshake. "I'm Roselyn but most people call me Rosie for short" Roselyn murmured. "I hate this pack" Roselyn exclaimed while walking towards her room. "Get used to it", Alpha Nicholas said as he walked past her. "The Moon Goddess must really hate me, because why are they torturing me in this pack, all in the name of training? Even Rain has deserted me due to the fact she couldn't take the rejection." Roselyn murmured. "Why me" Roselyn wails as she misses her wolf, Rain. Alpha Nicholas went upstairs to wake his band of misfits, they really needed to talk.
