Chapter 2 His Other Half Is In Danger

Lucifer was typing something on his laptop, business stuffs. It was funny how he was serious with his business as the CEO of Grey's corporation.

When he was suppose to be torturing people in hell for their sins. But then it was only one thing that had brought him to earth.

It was to find his other half and after successfully making her know him, he would take her back to hell where they belonged. That was what made him come to earth.

As if reading Lucifer's mind, Jared asked while sipping blood from his glass cup " Are you going to take her back to hell ".

" Yes " Lucifer answered while still focused on what he was typing.

" I mean, you know she's human and she belongs here so I'm just saying....."

" I know what you mean Jared, she is human yes. But she belong with us in hell " Lucifer said sharply.

" What if she doesn't want to go with you " Jared asked.

Lucifer's finger which was about to tap a key on the laptop suddenly stopped mid-air. He raised his head up and stared at Jared with his blue eyes.

" What do you mean " he said entwining his fingers together and rested his back against the soft chair.

Jared dropped the cup on the table beside him and sat upright.

" I said what if she doesn't want to leave earth and go back with you to hell. Earth is where she grew up and spent her entire life, I don't think it's easy leaving where you belong and go to another place ".

" Come to think of it, the humans all through their life they have always thought of hell as a bad place , which it is. You can't just walk up to her and tell her you're Lucifer and she's your half side and then you'll take her to hell with you, naa it's doesn't work that way ".

Jared was happy that Lucifer for once was listening to him and he grinned inwardly and he continued to talk while he has the chance.

" We've spent some time with the humans to know how they think and behave. I know you think I've forgotten that I'm a demon but no, I haven't. I know who I am, so I'm just letting you know that, she can only follow you if she wants and if she trust you enough ".

After everything Jared said Lucifer let out a helpless laugh which got him confused because this was the first time for him to see Lucifer laugh after the first time he saw him smile in the car.

Though it wasn't really a laugh, it was as if he was mocking him and made he frowned.

" You think I haven't thought about all that " Lucifer said.

" Really, you have..... "

" Of course I have, and I know the ways of the humans , I have watched them and know the way they think and behave "

" I'm glad you... "

" So I'm not going to force her to do anything, if she wish to stay here then I'll stay with her here, I'll only visit hell whenever I have the chance ".

Jared was glaring at Lucifer for always cutting him off whenever he wanted to say something but when he heard what he said his eyes widened.

" You're really going to stay on earth because of her " Jared said with surprise laced in his voice.

Like seriously what had this mysterious girl done to Lucifer ?

First she made him smile, and secondly she made him say that if she wasn't willing to leave earth he would stay with her. He really need to see this girl with his own two eyes.

" Yes " Lucifer said.

" What's her name " Jared asked.

" I don't even know her name but I would ask her when I visit her again, so I ..... " Lucifer suddenly stopped talking as his hand made way to his chest.

He felt something was wrong with his half side, he was having this unsettling feeling within him. Something was wrong with her, he could feel it.

" What happened " Jared asked when he saw the way Lucifer was behaving.

Without answering Jared, Lucifer opened his hand for a round ball-like light to appear floating on his palm. It was like a mirror showing him things happening at Williams Jones secret mansion.

In the mirror light, he saw Williams dragging Skyler's hair harshly and was talking to someone else and Lucifer boiled in anger.

He didn't need to keep on watching how those brats were treating his half side. He didn't need to stress himself to know their location.

Jared watched it too as the mirror light was transparent, he felt sorry for those humans who had gotten on Lucifer's bad side this evening.

With the way Lucifer's eyes were blazing like hell fire right now, he wasn't sure that any of them will be left alive.

Getting up from his chair " Look after the company " Lucifer said before disappearing out of his office.

When he gets his hands on those useless humans they will be sorry for touching what was his.

WILLIAMS JONE'S MANSION

When Lucifer got to the mansion, he saw how the entrance door was blasted open and some dead fried bodies which was on the ground.

Not caring about them, he walked into the mansion, his foot steps light as air . Anywhere he passed by, there was dead bodies here and there.

Without stressing himself, he teleported himself right to William's office, but then there was no one in the room, it was empty.

But then, he could still smell the faint scent of his other half in the office, she was here and it wasn't long before she was taken out from the office.

Her scent took him to another room where he could hear a loud scream coming from it, without wasting a seconds. Lucifer blasted open the door with so much force.

And then his eyes landed on a fragile figure chained to a bed lying on the bed with her eyes closed, there was blood all over her body and her clothes were torn. His blood boiled even more as thick scary veins appeared on his forehead.

He heard the man who stood before him say " I didn't expect to see you here soon ".

The men who were whipping Skyler stopped and turned to see who dared to open the door with much force.

They saw a man which they had never seen before, surprising his eyes were red which wasn't normal for humans.

The man was so angry, they could see thick veins popping on his forehead, if only they knew it wasn't a man but the devil himself.

And they heard him say " Were you expecting me " he said and started walking towards their boss who was also moving back in fear.

But he tried not to show any fear in his face, the man coming towards him had this scary dark aura emitting from him, there was something about him which screamed danger.

Suddenly William's felt his legs glued to the ground, he couldn't moved from his spot. He gulped hard as the man was now close to him looking straight into his eyes.

" Who... who are y.. you " William's stammered.

" Everyone knows about me " Lucifer said, he love the fear which he saw in the man's eyes.

" Who the fuck are you, get the hell away from our boss now " one of the men who was whipping Skyler said pointing his gun at Lucifer.

However Lucifer was still enjoying the fear in William's eyes. Seeing the man scaring their boss didn't even budge, the man shot his gun at Lucifer.

But before the bullet could get to Lucifer, the bullet stopped mid-air, they were shocked and surprised at what was going on.

Lucifer finally moved his face away from William's and face the man who had shot the bullet, he could see shock on his face as well as the other man.

Leaving William's glued to his spot, he walked over to the men and did the same thing to them by gluing their feets to the ground.

" I see you were trying to get my attention, so I'm here " Lucifer said with a devilish smirk on his face.

" S.. sir it was a mistake " the man said trembling under Lucifer's fearful gaze.

" A mistake I see, was it a mistake when you used those filthy hands of yours to whip my woman " Lucifer said and at the same time he ripped out the man's hand from his shoulder.

" Ahhhh " the man screamed.

" Shhh, this is not close to the kind of torture you would receive in hell " Lucifer shushed the man up. He threw the man's arm to the ground.

" Let me make it easy for you " Lucifer raised his hand towards the man's face and then the man started choking.

He brought out all the air from the man's lungs, the man choked and fell down dead on the ground, of course Lucifer wasn't done with him yet.

" Please, please don't kill me I beg you " the other man who also whipped Skyler was pleading.

" Why shouldn't I " Lucifer said

" I... I was just following orders s..sir " the man said.

" You shouldn't have touch what was mine in the first place, that's no way to treat a lady " Lucifer said as his hand rested on the man's chest feeling the heartbeat.

" I.. I didn't know she was yours S... Sir "

" Shhhh " Lucifer shushed the man and used his sharp nail to cut open the man's chest and blood gushed out dropping to the ground.

" Ahhhhh, please.... please " the man screamed begging.

" I'm giving you an easy death, you should be happy "

Lucifer said and ran his tongue over his sharp pointy fangs. He finally opened the man chest and could see the beating heart pumping blood.

Without giving the man another chance to scream, he broke the ribcage and pulled out the heart out. The man choked on his blood and fell to the ground dead.

After he had brutally killed the two men who whipped Skyler, he went back to William's who couldn't move but he was hearing the screams of his men behind him.

When Lucifer came to stand before him, he saw that the man was crying " Huh, why are you crying " Lucifer asked as if he wasn't the cause of the man's tears.

" Please, please don't kill me. I will do anything for you " William's said.

" Hmm anything " Lucifer rubbed his jaw with his long bloody fingers.

" Y.. yes anything "

" Ok, I want you to kill yourself " Lucifer said to see the man eyes widened.

" B.. but I can't kill myself " William's said.

" See, just one thing you can't do it for me " Lucifer said and held William's neck tightly.

" Please, no please " William's begged but Lucifer turned deaf ear to his pleading.

" Any last words " Lucifer said.

" Rot in hell " William's said and Lucifer chuckled devilishly.

" Oh, we will meet there soon " he said and William's body exploded into many pieces.

" Useless humans " Lucifer said and then his eyes softened when he turned around and stared at Skyler who was lying helplessly on the bed.

He walked over to her and crouched down beside her, he stretched his hand to remove her hair away from her face.

But his hand stopped mid-air when he saw his hand was bloody and he waved his hand for them to turn clean back again.

He then removed her hair from her face, his face hardened when he saw the hand print on her face. Someone among the dead men on the ground had slapped her.

But then, he would soon torture them in hell when he was done and he Broke the chains away from her hands and legs as if they were nothing.

He stood up and carried her into his arms, he felt bad for not being able to protect her when she needed him. Glancing at her one more time, he disappeared out of the room without a single trace.

Chris and some of the SA men finally got to the mansion, they were six black Jeep parked that surrounded the mansion.

" Go in and search for Skyler, search everywhere and bring anyone you see alive to me " Chris ordered.

" Yes sir " the men said in unison.

The men got into the mansion and searched everywhere, every rooms. But then, they didn't come across any living breathing soul.

Dead bodies were littered everywhere, they got to a room and saw many girls chained on their hands and legs. There was two men who laid dead on the ground.

They had bleed to death and they took girls out of the room.

" Sir, we didn't see any sign of Miss Skyler only dead bodies and this girls " Tom one of the men said pointing at twenty girls who were trembling.

" What do mean no sign of Skyler, go in and search very well " Chris shouted.

" Yes sir " they said and continued thier search.

Chris gritted his teeth in anger and he let out a low growl and grabbed his hair frustrated. He couldn't let anything happen to Skyler, no, never.

Lucifer didn't go back to the company as it was already dark. Jared would have closed the company and head home after completing his work.

He teleported right into his room, he laid Skyler on his bed carefully and then rang the bell inside his room which he used in calling the servants.

His eyes were back to blue, he had cleaned the blood away from his body to look normal. There was a knock on the door.

" Come in " he said and three maids walked in with their heads down and they held their hands together in front of their dress.

" Yes Master " they said in unison.

" Bathe and dress her in clean clothes, if you handle her roughly and I find out then you'll face my wrath" Lucifer said.

" Yes Master " they answered and Lucifer had left the room and they breathed a sigh of relief and get to work.
