Chapter 4 PART 4. DECISION

Aisa was still struggling with her thoughts. She was torn between choosing to uphold her dignity while her father was on the verge of life and death, or accepting the offer for her father's recovery, even if it meant selling her dignity.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Aisa is forced to do all this. I know you would be hurt if you knew I was selling my dignity just for money. But I have no choice, Mom. Please forgive me."

Aisa hurriedly cleaned herself up and prepared to go to the luxurious and grand house. She could no longer bear to think about the terrible things that might happen to her father if she didn't get the money within the next three days.

Reluctantly, Aisa had to accept the offer from the wealthy Admaja family. In great haste, she ran through the streets to reach the mansion of Lady Merlin. Even the distance from her rented apartment to that luxurious house was quite far. But Aisa was willing to run that far for her family. She was even willing to sell her dignity for her family.

Aisa kept running without stopping, paying no attention to the passing vehicles.

"Watch out!"

The driver immediately hit the brakes after hearing a man's shout from the passenger seat.

Aisa's body fell in front of a luxurious car.

"What's happening? Why did you stop?" asked the man sitting in the back seat.

"Um... well, Sir, there's a girl who crossed the road carelessly," replied the man sitting beside the driver.

"Hurry up and get out. I'm already very tired and want to go home," ordered the Young Master.

"A-alright, Sir."

The man opened the car door and got out of the car.

Aisa tried to stand up, and she saw her bleeding knees and elbows.

"Are you okay?" The man approached to help Aisa stand up.

"I'm sorry, Sir. It's my fault. I didn't cross the road carefully." Aisa apologized, bowing her head.

The man looked at Aisa's bleeding knees and elbows.

"Do you need me to take you to the hospital? Your knees and elbows seem to need treatment, or else the wounds ...."

"No need, Sir, thank you. I'm in a hurry right now." Aisa disregarded the pain in her knees and elbows, as her priority was her father's safety.

"But your wounds need to be treated." The man insisted on taking responsibility, even though it wasn't entirely his fault.

The car owner became very annoyed seeing his assistant still not getting into the car. He reluctantly had to intervene himself.

"Rendy!" he shouted.

"You can't even handle such a small matter properly. How much longer do I have to wait for you to solve this minor issue!" the man said, walking towards Rendy, his assistant.

"I-I apologize, Sir. The girl is injured, and I intended to take her to the hospital." Rendy bowed before the Young Master.

The man stared at Aisa from head to toe.

"Why should you take responsibility? Clearly, she's the one at fault for crossing the road carelessly!" the man said coldly.

Aisa looked at the man standing some distance away from her.

"Forgive me, respected Sir. I was wrong, and I don't expect anything from you." Aisa said with annoyance. She didn't like seeing arrogant and cold men like the one in front of her.

"Do you hear that! She doesn't even want anything from me. Now let's go!" The man turned and was about to open his car door.

But Aisa's shout stopped him. Aisa walked up to the arrogant and cold man.

"You are the most heartless man I've ever met. You should be grateful to have an assistant as good and honest as him." Aisa pointed to Rendy.

"What did you say? Heartless man! How dare you insult me like that!" The man yelled loudly.

Rendy approached both Aisa and the Young Master.

"S-Sir, it's my fault," Rendy said apologetically.

"I'm sorry, Sir, but I think it's not his fault; it's hers!" Aisa pointed at the Young Master.

"You!" The man exclaimed in anger.

"Why? Can't you admit your mistake? Or do you not even realize your mistake?" Aisa tilted her head, smiling.

"You cunning girl! You deliberately crashed into my car so you could ask for a large compensation!" the man accused.

Aisa couldn't tolerate someone belittling her. She had been trying to control her anger all this time. But after hearing that insult, her anger reached its peak. Reflexively, Aisa raised her hand and slapped the cold man standing in front of her.

But quickly, the man grasped Aisa's wrist, which made her even angrier.

Not only Aisa looked surprised, but Rendy was also shocked to see his friend and employer not avoiding eye contact with a woman, and they even touched each other. The Young Master seemed unaware of it.

"Let go of my hand!" Aisa tried to free her hand from the man's grip.

"I won't let you go until you apologize to me for your words!"

There was only one way Aisa could think of to escape the man's grip. She pulled one of his hands and bit it very hard. The man screamed in pain and immediately released Aisa's hand.

"Serves you right! Serves you right for sure!" Aisa taunted before running away from the man, as she didn't have much time to deal with him.

"Just you wait if we meet again! Just wait for my revenge!" The man yelled in frustration.

Rendy could only smile at his employer's behavior. It was the first time for him to see his friend and employer not avoiding eye contact with a woman, and they even touched each other. The Young Master seemed entirely unaware of it.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you grinning like that? You're happy to see me suffering!"

"I-I apologize, Sir. I..."

"Enough! Because of that crazy girl, my mood has worsened. I want to get home soon. I'm tired and need to rest."

"Alright, Sir."

Rendy walked towards the car and opened the car door for his employer. The man got into the car while holding the hand that had been bitten by Aisa.

"I'll never let that crazy girl go. Just wait; my revenge will be much worse than this," he said angrily.

Rendy asked the driver to drive the car faster. He didn't want to make his Young Master even more furious.
