Chapter 10 Agreement

We actually fixed a date to meet ivy's parent while ivy had inform her parents about my coming .I was going to have dinner with them I wasn't scared anymore I wore the blazer I ordered from Italy yeah I know am doing too much for a dinner but I want to impress ivy's dad though (laughing out loud).

" Good evening Mr and Mrs Thompson" I said ,I took a glance and I notice almost everywhere in the house was filled with portrait it is a beautiful house indeed "have a seat " Mrs Thompson offered me a seat as she dished out the food ,I looked at her she is so full of life her beautiful necklace speaks royalty have never really asked anything about her before,while still dishing out the food Mr Thompson cleared his throat I knew he was about asking something " so tell me peter what have you been up to " he asked sternly," have been able to get so many contracts in the last few months and aside that I owned a art gallery in the art of the city,Dazen gallery to be precise "I said with a confident smile," Dazen gallery you say?,oh that's where I got this beautiful painting from " he said pointing Hsi hands towards a painting on the wall," so peter ,you are that place " he asked , " yes sir" I replied," oh,I must say am impressed, that's good of you boy" he said and patted me on the back, I was surprised this is my first time seeing him smile at me after the meal I have a lot of talk with him and that make me conclude that people are really interested in successful people only.

I finally decided to take my leave Ivy see me off and I drove off .
