Chapter 4 Little Alpha

___ FLASHBACK___

( WHEN SASHA WAS A LITTLE GIRL )

DECA POV

It was silent at 6am and everywhere was calm , as Sally the mate of the Alpha, put to bed a new member of the pack, a girl. Steven, the Alpha of the Cavani Garou, had two children, which were Sedrek and his little baby girl Sasha.

The Cavani Garou was the leading Garou of all the werewolves in the forest.

Steven had called the pack for the celebration of their newest member, Sasha, at the celestial park, the home of werewolves.

The celestial park was founded by the Cavani clan by their ancestors Catherine Simon. Catherine had been chased by humans for long, and every single escape meant a lot to him. The celestial park was a place where he celebrated all his escapes with a feast of flesh.

They had all transformed into their human forms and were walking into the park to feast on the day's catch and celebrate the day's glory when a fight began.

The Scanvier Garou had betrayed them and ambushed them. They had opened up a grenade in the middle of the park, killing half of the pack.

Sally had picked up her children as she ran towards the secret passage. The birds stopped singing and the monkeys stopped swinging as three hounds of wolves chased Sally.

She took a turn and left Sasha in the arms of her elder brother, saying, "Take care of her for me, now run." Those were the last words Sedrek remembered before the ugly scream of his mother and the dripping of blood on the ground.

Sedrek had sleepless nights every time he remembered the incident or when baby Sasha would cry. For two days, Sedrek fed on rats and mice. But baby Sasha wasn't doing that well; she needed milk, and he was going to get it for her.

Taking the scarf his mother dropped at the entrance of the passage, he carried Sasha on his back and went into the city.

The city was so noisy to Sedrek, unlike the peaceful forest where the rabbits hop, the birds sing, and the monkeys swing and play.

The sound of the subway train scared Sedrek as he ran towards a shop.

He wasn't here to play with the humans; he was here for milk and meat. That's all he wanted. He went to a provision store and saw a lady who was in her mid-30s.

"Can you help me breastfeed my little sister? She hasn't eaten for days," Sedrek cried to the woman, who took pity on the young children and breastfed her for a little while.

Sedrek couldn't tell her that he was a werewolf, and when she told them she would take them in, he refused and apologized to her. The woman took some cans of milk and gave them to him. "Anytime she's hungry, give this to her," she said as she handed him another feeding bottle.

Sedrek didn't think humans were good people because his pack always saw them as their enemies. Sedrek was on his way back to the forest when he smelt meat; he couldn't resist as he salivated.

His body was changing drastically as he fell to the ground, and red fur came out of his back. Sedrek was a special species of werewolf; he had the fur of the leader of the wolfpack.

He ran towards the butcher as he snatched a long piece of meat and ran back to Sasha. "Get him!" the voice shouted as people chased the red-furred werewolf.

Sedrek was scared as he carried his little sister on his back, milk and meat in his mouth. He successfully reached the forest and ran into the secret passage.

"Oh, that was close," he said as he laid Sasha on the ground where his mother's scarf was dropped.

"Come out, you monster," the butcher called from the entrance when a roar was heard. It was another werewolf, a huge one with grey fur. " The butcher turned to escape but died at the hands of the wolf.

The werewolf entered the secret passage, all stained with blood, as it grunted its way through the passage to meet Sedrek.

The old wolf was coming closer, and Sedrek couldn't run. He transformed into his wolf form and stared at the gray wolf right in front of him.

"There's no need to worry," the wolf said as it transformed and approached the woman at the provision store. " No wonder you could feed Sasha," he said as his mind relaxed a little. The woman took care of Sasha and Sedrek. Like her own kids, she was planning to adopt them as her very own children, which made Sedrek very happy.

The night drew near, and Sedrek and Sasha were sound asleep, or so she thought.

"Hello! "Yes, I am with the Alpha and Beta of the Cavani clan; don't worry, they are fast asleep; they would be dead before sunrise," said Sedrek, who was scared as the woman chuckled like a mad scientist.

"Master Cashi is going to praise me and make me his mate," she said, dancing to the whistling of the air. Sedrek quietly stood up and carried Sasha and the bottle of milk.

He was about to take the canned milk when the cans collided and made a clanking noise.

"And where do you think you're going, little Alpha?" she said as she evolved into werewolf size.

Sedrek ran out of the passage from the other exit in his wolf form as the chase continued. He couldn't die this way; his revenge would be killed just like a walk in the park.

He ran and escaped her claws and fangs narrowly as they came to the open field.

"Why are you doing this?" he asked her as she chuckled at the words.

"To become the next mate of the almighty Alpha and leader of the Scanvier clan, can't you guess?" she said as she chased him.

"Be an Alpha and stop running," she said, stopping as she saw a huge wolf with red fur.
