Chapter 3

Leslie sat in her office staring at her phone, she never knew he followed her on Instagram. She tapped his profile picture and saw that it was a photo of the man she met earlier in an apron and no shirt on.

He looked hot like that, she suddenly started having female fantasies of both of them, realizing herself she slapped her face and shook her head, she was a mum now not a teenager.

She replied to his message, she looked at it for a second before stretching her phone to set it aside only for it to ding.

He replied within less than seconds of her sending it. She smiled at that.

He sent a "How are you" message with a smiley face, she giggled like a school girl before sending a "Am good, you?"

She was about to set the phone away before it dinged again.

" Am also very good, did you enjoy your coffee?" He asked, she relaxed in her chair and replied, she decided to tease him a bit.

" Umm, no really the coffee was too bland and hot" she complained, the person on the other side widened his eyes.

He knew he should have paid more attention to when Aunt Emily made her coffee, now he has gone and done nonsense.

He quickly typed a message

" Am very sorry, you can swing by and let me make you another on the house" he tapped his finger on the desk waiting patiently for her reply.

Leslie on the other side smiled at his cuteness.

" Am just kidding, the coffee was very nice thank you for the wonderful coffee, it made my day"

Desmond read the message and breathed a sigh of relief.

Wait was she still coming by?

He typed again

"Since you liked the coffee maybe I could still make you some, on the house " he added the last statement on second thoughts.

He waited again before he received an 'ok' emoji.

He smiled and send another message.

" See you tomorrow then, have a nice day" he waited for her to reply and got a " you too" and a " thank you" before finally putting down his phone with a satisfied smile.

Leslie on the other hand put down her phone and went to work.

A few hours later, it was time to pick up Alex from his school. She packed up her bags before leaving the office.

She got to the garage and located her car. She got in and left the premises, she drove to Alex's school drumming her beautiful and we'll manicured fingers on her staring wheel.

She got to his school and parked her car where her parents parked theirs. She got down and ignored the stares making her way to the school.

She looked good in her custom-made skirt suit that was above her knees showing a little of her thighs.

She was a mum doesn't mean she didn't need to dress sexy even to work.

Alex's teacher Miss Nancy saw her first before calling on Alex who had a grumpy look on his face, he shot his teacher an irritated look, all this did not escape Leslie's hawk eyes which stayed on him since she stepped into the playground where the kids waited.

When he saw his mother his face brightened up, he stood up slowly and took his drawing book gently from a little girl by his side, said goodbye to his friends before making his way to his mother

" GoodbyeAlexx," his teacher said with a smile when he passed by her, he ignored her and went to his mother, he stood in front of her and smiled innocently, Leslie folded her hands across her chest and tapped her feet.

Alex sighed before turning back to his teacher who was watching him

" Bye" he murmured earning a bright smile from her, his face twisted in disgust before taking his mother's hand, and dragging her to her car.

"Alex that was not very nice" she started when they got to her car.

Alex turned his face away and shrugged his shoulders not caring.

Leslie sighed before starting the car.

Leslie drove straight home, she didn't have to go back to the office because she owned the firm.

She got into the house and parked her car, she turned to Alex wanting to say something only for him to jump out of the car not looking back at her

She watched him get into the house in silence before following. He did not stop he went straight to his room not wanting to talk to her.

Leslie sighed before doing the same, she came back down minutes later to prepare food.

Alex followed her to the kitchen, he helped her prepare the ingredients with a frown, he seems to be angry at his mother for a reason.

Leslie sighed again

" Alex" she called him. He stopped, pursed his small lips, and looked at her.

" Yes mummy" Leslie melted, he was just so cute. Leslie opened her arms and beckoned to him.

He walked to her and hugged her,

" Are you angry at mummy?" She asked, he shook his head in "no''

" Do you want to talk about it" he hesitated for a while.

" I don't want to talk about it," he said and tightens his hold on his mother.

She sighed again and kissed his head.

Sometimes it wasn't easy handling s growing child. She needed someone to talk to about it.

Her mind suddenly wandered to Desmond,

No, she just met him. But he would understand since he was a man.

Leslie made dinner thinking about who she would talk to. She did not have any close male friends only Desmond but she didn't even know him that well.

Leslie lay in bed thinking about what to do. She did not like her son keeping things from her he used to tell her everything before.

Leslie tossed and turned on the bed only sleeping in the wee hours in the morning.
