Chapter 5 FIVE

They all stared at her in shock and Stella couldn't help but burst into laughter. She ran out of the room still laughing. Ryder and Woo Bin also couldn't contain their laughter. They stood up and went outside too and Maureen sighed and released him.

"Are you done now?" Tyler suddenly said.

"I don't have your time.." He muttered and made to leave but she grabbed his forearm.

"I'm going to audition today and why shouldn't I? Do you know how have waited for this opportunity. I won't let you ruin it!" She yelled and Tyler turned to her scoffing.

"You proud peacock, let me go now.." He said coldly and Maureen rolled her eyes.

"Oh please, what do you mean? You are the Arrogant jerk here. You fool!" She spat out angrily still grabbing him.

"You called me a fool!" He suddenly snapped, his eyes widening.

"Yes and I'll do this so again!" She yelled at him and Tyler made to talk but Stella's voice stopped him.

"Let her audition Tyler, you know we need someone to replace Woo bin and Kim Ye -ri will be joining us two weeks later.." Stella said and Tyler rolled his eyes and then removed her hands off him roughly.

"Fine but once your voice sounds all creaky, you are out!" He shot at Maureen who scoffed and stucked her tongue out at him and his eyes widened again.

Ryder and Woo Bin walked in next and laughed looking at Tyler then Maureen who was all set for the audition.

"Wait.." Tyler said and they all turned to look at him.

"Let's record it. Live and direct. I want to see how everyone reacts when they hear her creaky voice .." Tyler said and Stella moved closer to him and whispered to her.

"What's your problem? You never behaved like this with the other applicants" She said.

"I don't just know but i hate her guts!" He said and Stella smiled.

Woo Bin already set the stage and the camera was already set.

"The dance first.." Tyler said.

"Lalisa by Lisa" Maureen said and he scoffed.

The song started playing and soon she started dancing, swaying body to the beats of the song.

Ryder's eyes widened immediately. Damn! "She's good" He thought and smiled.

'She would be a perfect girlfriend for me!" He muttered and smiled.

Tyler just scoffed.

"She's good, don't you think so?" Stella asked him.

"She's okay, Kim Ye - ri is better than her" He said and Stella scoffed.

"Are you kidding me, I'm better than Kim Ye -ri when it comes to dancing and this girls dances well more than me. Kim Ye - ri is just a vocal queen. She can just hit high notes" Stella said and rolled her eyes.

Well Kim Ye -ri and Stella were the worse enemies in the band. They never got along and Stella was actually thankful that she was on a two weeks break.

Soon the dance was over and Maureen fell on the ground panting. A bottle of water was brought to her by Ryder and she accepted it.

"Thanks.." She said and he winked at her.

"You dance pretty well!" He commended and she smiled.

"Stop flattering her. You are not that great!" Tyler said behind him and she scoffed.

"And you sing like a cock. Ryder's voice is actually better than yours!" She smiled at him and stood up.

Ryder smiled and couldn't stop grinning while Tyler shook his head. He just wished that she wouldn't be able to sing well because there's no way he would be accepting her into the squad.

"Woah!" Woo Bin suddenly exclaimed.

"Her live dance video just had 300k likes within just 15 minutes.

"Whatever, she should get ready to sing. That's the main point.." Tyler said and everyone went to their seat and sat down except Woo Bin who was about to make s live video.

Maureen took the microphone and smirked at Tyler from the stage.

"Hm, I would love to sing the good day by Iu" She said and the keyboardist started playing.

Few seconds later. Tyler's eyes widened as he listened to her singing.

He couldn't deny it. She was good. Her voice was very beautiful.

But what shocked him more was when she hit the high note. His eyes widened motr like it was about to pop out from its socket and Ryder stood applauding her same with Stella.

It wasn't long before she completed the song. Tyler still couldn't stop staring at her.

"Wow! Your voice is beautiful!" Woo Bin Bin exclaimed and Maureen smiled. She turned to Tyler expecting him to say something.

"Tyler, come on say something. She should be in our group right. She can basically be the main singer.." Stella suggested.

"But Ye -ri is the main singer" Ryder said.

"But she's good than that proud Ye -ri.." Woo Bin interjected.

The door suddenly sprang open and they all turned to look at the person.

"Director Kang!" They all exclaimed except Maureen who didn't know the director. Ge was their music coach and director.

His eyes suddenly moved to Maureen and he smiled.

"I came here because I actually saw the live video. Damn! She's good. We need voices like hers." He said and then brought out a file before passing it to her.

"Here. Once you fill out the contract form. You will become an officially signed member of the MS as the main singer.." He said and everyone's eyes widened except Tyler who remained quiet.

"But what about Kim Ye -ri, knowing her, she's going to cause a ruckus!" Ryder said.

"I'll talk to her..." The director said and stretched out his hand to Maureen for an handshake which she received warmly.

"Congrats and please make sure your guardian signs the agreement form. It's very important"

Maureen's eyes widened as she heard a paid bang on her head.

"Mum's never going to sign this. She will definitely kill me if I find out.." She said.

Closing time.

Maureen walked out of the classroom and murmuring began.

"She's the girl. Her voice's so beautiful.

"And her dance moves are sharp too.."

"She's good wow!"

Maureen ignored the comment and headed to her car but then she met someone standing beside it with a bunch of flowers.

"Who the hell is that?" She asked herself as she moved closer to him.

Surprisingly, it was Ryder.

"You!" She exclaimed and looked down at the flowers.

"Yes it's me Beautiful!" He said and stretched out the flowers to her but she stared at them refusing to collect it.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Be my girlfriend!" He asked and her eyes widened.

"Unnie! Unnie!" A young teenage girl screamed running down the stairs and Ye - ri groaned and removed the headset from her ears.

It wasn't too loud so she could actually hear.

"What?!" Ye - ri shouted standing up from the bed.

"What's your problem? Kim Nana!" She yelled again and Kim Nana bursted in panting.

"What?" Ye - ri yelled again and Kim Nana gave her phone.

"It's a video from MS Instagram group.."

"So?" She rolled her eyes.

"There's a lady singing.."

"That must be Stella!" She said and rolled her eyes again.

"No, not her. Another girl!" Nana said and Ye ri looked at it.

The first thing that caught her attention was that the lady was beautiful.

"And why the hell did they post her here?" Ye ri said and played the video and immediately her eyes widened.

"No! What the hell is this?! I'm the best voice in the group so Who's this?" She yelled and smashed the phone on the ground.

"Unnie!" Kim Nana gasped.

"I'm going back to school tomorrow, come what may?!" She yelled and stormed off
