Chapter 4 FOUR

Maureen stared at him and then she gently pushed him off.

'Beautiful" He called and Maureen smiled.

"I don't know who you're.." She said and Ryder scoffed.

"Of course you do. Beautiful!" He added and a blush crept up on her cheeks.

"Wow! Did they know each other!"

"She's beautiful but she dare not take my Ryder from me"

"Bitch! I hate her!"

Tyler said at them and scoffed before walking away.

"Let go, you are embarrassing me" Maureen said biting her lower lip and Ryder chuckled and let her go.

"I..." He didn't complete his statement when she immediately ran off.

"She's beautiful!" He said and licked his lower lip.

Tyler walked into the classroom with a headset maintaining the cold usual look.

"Hey!." He heard a feminine voice say and he looked at the person. It was his best friend Stella.

Stella smiled and waved at him and he just nodded. He walked closer to her and she pulled his hand and made him sit beside her.

"You didn't pick my calls when I called" She said but Tyler didn't respond. He was busy nodding his head to the sound of the music.

She scoffed and removed his headset and he turned to look at her.

"What?" He asked and She smiled.

"I called you but you didn't pick.." She said and it was his turn to scoff.

"Dad came back yesterday" He said carelessly and Stella sighed.

"What kind of best friend is he?" She muttered and just then someone walked in and murmuring were heard.

Stella gasped as she stared at the girl who was walking in with their class teacher.

She was beautiful. Her long hair. She was not looking too Korean but one could tell that she was from Korea.

"Hey Everyone look up" The teacher said and All of them looked up including Tyler.

"You have a new classmate.

"Introduce yourself.." Their class teacher Mr Choi said.

"Hi, I'm Kim Aa - re but you can call me Maureen.." She said with a straight look.

"You are beautiful!" A guy said from the back and she rolled get eyes.

"I guess you don't know my rule.." She said and the class got quiet while Tyler's eyes remained on her.

"You should all remember to stay away from me. I don't like friends so if you dare talk to me, I'm gonna break your head!" She said with a glare and murmuring continued.

"Where should I sit?" She asked the teacher who looked at her in awe.

"Behind Tyler.." He said pointing to the seat behind Tyler whose eyes was still on her.

Maureen frowned but walked anyways to her new seat.

Tyler then scoffed and focused on his phone.

Few mins later

Ryder walked in and his eyes met with Maureen but she quickly looked away. However he smiled and moved closer to her.

"Hey pretty." He whispered and she looked up at him coldly. Yes she appreciated his looks but nothing more. Now she was back to the Maureen she was.

Maureen removed the ear pod from her ear and stared at him coldly

"What do you want?" She asked coldly.

"Hey, you better get out now!" She said bluntly and the class gasped. She rolled her eyes and put back her ear pod in her ear. The class started to murmur again.

Tyler placed on his head on the locker and he cracked.

"Serves him right.." He said while Ryder stormed to his seat angrily.

Soon it was break and Maureen's goal was to find the MS Squad. She saw on the billboard that they were looking for an additional member.

Luckily, there was a special hall for them. And in front of it was boldly written "MS (MUSIC SQUAD).

She smiled and then knocked on it.

"Come in." A feminine voice said and she walked in.

A young girl was seated on a table and there was a tag" Receptionist" on it.

"Hi, how may I help you?" She asked Maureen with a smile and Maureen looked around as she heard piano and drums playing.

There was also pictures of them receiving different awards. There were five in number.

Three boys and two females.

"What do you want miss?" The young girl said cutting her thoughts off.

"Hm, I saw the announcement that the band wants another member so I'm here to apply" She said and the young girl smiled.

"Oh please, fill out this form?" The young girl said and gave a paper.

Maureen scoffed.

"What the hell?!"

"Lend me your pen miss.." She asked.

"Rita! The young girl said and gave her a pen.

Few mins later, she was done already and Rita stood up.

One minute please" She pleaded and then opened another door not quite far from them. In a few seconds she was out.

"You can go in now" Rita said with a smile and Maureen scoffed.

"Can you please stop smiling at me!" She snapped but the smile never left Rita's face. She scoffed again and opened the door before she walked in.

Maureen gasped as she stared around. The hall was damn decorated beautiful.

Music Squad was written and pasted in different places in the wall.

"She looked at the far end and saw four people seated.

Then she walked closer to them. Well she knows she had to act nice and everything.

Her eyes widened when she saw them. Those guys at the airport. The Ryder guy and his brother with some other guy.

Ryder smirked at her and she scoffed.

"Hi, I'm sure you all know the reason I'm here. I actually want to be part of this group!" She said and glanced at Tyler who was busy on his phone.

"Hi pretty, I'm Woo Bin, the sunbae( Oldest) of this group but this is our leader, Tyler.." Woo bin said pointing to Tyler who didn't budge at all.

"It's nice to have you here but before we actually can accept you. We need to have a quick interview with you!" Stella said smiling at her and she cringed.

What the hell is wrong with these people!!

"Please take a seat" Stella told her and she sat in front of them and her eyes met again with Ryder who was chewing gum. He winked at her and she rolled her eyes.

"Well based on the form you filled. You said your hobbies are singing, dancing but you can also rap!" Woo Bin said with a smile and she nodded.

"Hm, we will have a vocal, dance and rap test on you. Is that okay?" Stella asked.

"Do you mind me asking Who's your role model?" Stell said.

"Blackpink's Lisa!" Maureen answered.

"Well, I adore her because she's strong and despite all the criticisms she faced, she still believed in herself and managed to become the best. Infact all blackpink members are my favourite" Maureen explained and Stella smiled.

Suddenly Tyler stood up.

"Sorry, we can't accept you.." He said and the others looked at him in surprise.

"What the hell are you saying Tyler?" Stella snapped at him.

"It's my decision and it's final!" He replied coldly and immediately Maureen stood up with a glare and without thinking twice, she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to her roughly.

"Well, I don't care what you think of me. I'm not some kind of girl who just backs out. I promise you that if you don't accept me, I'm gonna make your life hell!" She spat at him as they both stared at each other in the eyes while the others watched them stunned.
