Chapter 5 Save Her Again

Anna was chased by a boar goblin in the woods, she ran while looking around for a place to hide, and saw a small high slope in front of her, a thick tree trunk lying on the slope. Anna immediately jumped up and stepped on the trunk of the dead tree, the boar goblin chased wildly, the trunk landed on the head of the violently raised, the boar just hit the tip of the trunk's thorns, his belly was stabbed, rolled to the ground and screamed in pain. Anna took the opportunity to escape, ran for a while, saw no movement behind, before daring to stop to catch her breath.

"You don't have the strength, do you?" The bat goblin on a branch in front of her said with dark yellow eyes. This voice is really creepy, Anna immediately shuddered, she tried to calm herself down to find a way to escape.

The bat goblin spread its wings and quickly swooped over, Anna dodged his attack and ran into the cave in front of her, hiding herself in the darkness, the bat goblin could only rely on the sound to identify her position in the cave. Anna threw stones inside to confuse her position while slowly exiting the cave, and when she retreated to the cave entrance, she immediately lit a fire to burn up the weeds and dead wood at the entrance, then ran away without looking back, the roaring fire blocked the bat goblin's pursuit.

"Ah, I'm exhausted!" Anna ran for a long time, really can't run, stopping to pant heavily, still not forgetting to worry about their situation, "The sky is almost dark, I have to hurry to find the old Stella, if it's too late then she should be asleep." After her breath was smoothed out, the slender figure began to run wildly again, "How good it would be if I had magic power, so that I could fly and disappear." Anna could not help but regret.

The sun still has a little light left to be completely swallowed up by the mountain peaks, and Anna has finally arrived at the old Stella's place. "She must have been very worried during the month I was missing." Anna worried and quickened her pace. "Dear Stella!" She shouted eagerly from the doorway, "Are you there? I'm Anna, I'm back!"

The door opened, an old woman with white hair came out, she asked excitedly, "Are you Anna?"

"Well, I'm Anna, I'm sorry I've been missing for so long and made you worry." Anna blamed herself with a sobbing voice.

"It's good that you're okay, I thought you ..." The old Stella wanted to say something but stopped, "Forget it, it's good that you're back. Let me see, you've finally grown stronger, you were so skinny before."

"Tell me quickly, why did you leave suddenly, did I not take care of you?" Stella held Anna's hands and asked urgently, afraid that Anna would disappear again.

"So that's how it is. Anna, you suffered, so far away and still thinking about coming to see me."

"I'm lucky. It's getting dark, you've been tired all day, go and rest."

During the night, Anna woke up. Three years ago for as long as she could remember, she woke up almost every night, no matter where she was. Her situation, what had happened to her, forced her to not sleep peacefully. Anna woke up and found that the old Stella was not with her, so she got up and went outside the house to look for her.

"Dear Stella, where are you?" No one responded to her, so Anna tried to look further through the bushes. She had just taken one step when she felt as if the bottom was hollow, just covered by dense shrubs, with no field like it.

"I'm here, where do you want to go? Come here." The voice of Stella rang out behind her, but why such an accent, her tone was cold and teasing, Anna could not help but shiver.

She turned around and was even more creeped out after seeing the expression on Stella's face and asked in confusion, "Dear Stella, how...did you go?"

"I had intended to keep you until tomorrow morning, I didn't expect you to wake up in the middle of the night, in that case, I don't bother to continue to conceal you. The water has just boiled, so it's the right time to put you in the pot." The gentle and kind Stella's face is abominable at this time, the fierce attitude is revealed.

"You... you are not Stella!" Anna said with great horror.

"You are a goblin, then why didn't you eat me at that time?"

The bottom was dark and damp, and a cauldron was set up in the small space, and an eerie blue flame was boiling the water in the cauldron until it kept churning. There were two or five maidens tied up in the corner, and a pile of white bones.

"See, these maidens are the most nourishing, tonight I will cook and eat you all together, ha ha ha ..." The goblin laughed maniacally, she still had the skin of a grandmother, but no longer kind, a wrinkle as horrible and ugly as a poisonous snake.

"You vicious old woman, your original form must be even older and uglier, nourishment is useless, you will never be beautiful." After regaining her senses, Anna began to launch her scolding attack.

"Bitch, you dare to scold me?" The old goblin cast a spell to hold up Anna, gradually approaching the boiling cauldron. Numerous bushes fluttered in the night sky, and then fell, and a figure slowly appeared in the night sky. Anna could not see the person's appearance, vaguely a girl. Then the shrubs all fell to the ground to cover these maidens.

The old goblin rushed out from underneath and roared in annoyance at the outsider, "Who are you? Are you tired of living!"

"An exorcist." A girl's voice said calmly.

"What, an exorcist? This place is so hidden, how did you find it?" The old goblin asked in some disbelief, then changed her face to a provocative one and said, "Hmph, are you lucky or unlucky?"

"You killed so many lives, their resentment drew me here to eradicate you."

"Impossible, with a stinking girl like you, how could you possibly detect that there is something wrong here? Could it be that you are trying to scare me?" The old goblin did not believe what the girl said, and she was confident in her magic power, it was impossible for a young exorcist to see that there was demonic energy here.

"Scorpion goblin, you should have expected this day." The girl stopped talking nonsense and a large scimitar spun and flew out from behind her.

"Humph, you seek death!" The scorpion goblin bowed up, a sharp and huge tail fiercely emerged, with a poisonous sting of the tail thrown straight at Shine.

Only to hear the "click" sound, the scorpion's tail was cut off by the scimitar.

The scorpion goblin roared in pain, and Shine immediately popped the purple diamond-shaped jade into an eye in the center of the scorpion's back, and she instantly changed back to her original form.

Anna was stunned, this exorcist was so powerful! And the scorpion goblin was so weak!

Hiding in the shrubs, Anna saw the scorpion goblin turn small and fall to the ground, then she and the other captured maidens peeled away the shrubs to reveal their bodies.

Anna just wanted to thank the exorcist, who was still floating in the night sky and could not be seen, when she heard her voice speaking in the opposite direction. "Stop, I told you, if you dare to suck the magic out of others again, I will never let you go."

Anna looked in the direction of the exorcist's speech and vaguely saw a golden-haired boy who was trying to steal the scorpion's broken tail.

"Ah! Here comes another demon." The maidens shouted in horror.

"Don't be afraid, you guys, go home." Shine calmed the maidens, she didn't turn around and kept her eyes on the blond boy.

"Okay, let's get going."

"Thank you, exorcist. You have to be careful!"

Anna did not move her feet, squinting her eyes to see the face of her savior.

A maiden saw Anna dazed, thought she had not yet slowed down, so she took her hand, "Hey, let's go!"

"But ..."

"Don't worry, the exorcist is so powerful, it will be fine."

"Yes, you can't help if you stay, go now, don't try to be strong."

The maidens pulled Anna to escape.

Shine suddenly sensed something and subconsciously looked back, but only saw the backs of the girls leaving.

The blond boy took the opportunity to escape when Shine turned her head away, but before he could take a few steps, Shine suddenly appeared in front of him. He was startled, and quickly said playfully, "Hey, it's been a long time."

The blond boy was stunned and said stubbornly, "Mind your own business. I have my own rules."

Shine continued, "You are not bad, you have not harmed humans, you live by feeding on the essence of bad goblins weaker than you. But now you want to use me as your accomplice to achieve the goal of becoming stronger. At this rate you will soon become a demon, even if you are a half-goblin."

The blond boy was completely frozen, this ugly girl in front of him not only guessed his purpose at once, but also saw that he was a half-goblin.

"Anyway, if you continue, I will definitely subdue you." After saying that, Shine left.

The blond boy reacted and said hatefully, "What are you dragging? We'll see!"
