It was dawn at sunrise. Anna stepped down the last stone steps of the S&Cave Mountain, reluctantly gazed back at this green and beautiful mountain, could not help but recall the month of life here, a warm picture constantly in her mind. She inhaled hard and blinked her eyes to force the tears back into her eyes, then resolutely turned her head and her thin figure gradually moved away from the home where she had lived so comfortably. Anna knew full well that she would bring great disaster to her friends in the S&Cave Mountains, and she could not be so selfish, so she had to leave. They were so kind, when Mary not only saved her from the spider goblin, but also took care of her as if she were family, but Anna's existence eventually drew enemies, so how could she involve them again, not to mention that she was only a human and could do nothing for them.
"In the future, I still live alone. The sky as a quilt, the ground as a bed, wander the world, brave the world!" Anna almost shouted, both to herself, to embolden herself, and to this world, to let it know that she will not be easily defeated. The words just fell, she sobbed, remembering the past three years she wandered alone, she had no magic, day and night to watch out for the demons, all by her some small clever, small means to repeatedly get out of danger, during which also by the exorcist's rescue. She felt more sad thinking about this, hugging a nearby elm tree and crying sadly.
"Have you found Anna?" Mary asked her companions who had gathered back in the cave one after another.
"No."
"I didn't find her on the cliff top either."
"I've searched everywhere."
"Sis Mary, could Anna have left?" Acacia guessed anxiously.
"Anna is very feisty, and I'm afraid she's been holding a grudge about the spider goblin last time."
"She is human, and I'm afraid she won't stay with us for too long, plus the last attack ..." Everyone speculated.
"This silly girl, I have told her that the spider goblin will not come back for trouble, and do not worry about other demons. Why did she still leave?" Mary worried, also as if she had known it would be like this.
"What should we do?" Acacia asked.
"Sis Anna will be bullied alone." The children were also worried.
Ever since the spider goblin sucked Anna's blood and became a demon, Mary sensed that Anna was not an ordinary human. "Maybe this is what she was supposed to go through, a kind of training." Mary said meaningfully.
The Human Realm
The sky began to darken, Shine walked on a quiet path, she noticed a faint trace of demonic aura coming from not far away, and did not care too much, because this situation is very common, both demons and goblins are interested in her. She stopped, found a clearing on the side of the road and started lighting a fire, then closed her eyes and leaned against a tree trunk to rest. Not long after, the smoothly burning fire swayed violently a few times. Shine still had her eyes closed and was sleeping peacefully. A shadow shone through the fire on the ground, his sharp claws pressed straight towards Shine, but was bounced away by a lavender halo emitted from Shine's body.
The sun slowly rises over the horizon. Shine is ready to get up and go to the next place to eradicate demons, which is her mission as an exorcist, and also to travel in all directions to find her missing mother. Shine had just stood up when she saw a canine goblin in an indecent position sleeping on a tree ten meters away. She took one look at this guy, didn't care, and turned to leave.
Shine out of the trail, saw a stream, went over to hold some water in her hands, took a sip and then spilled the water behind her, a snake then lost friction with the trunk of the tree and slipped to the ground.
The snake demon revealed the human head and snake tail, gnashing her teeth and said, "Stinky girl, you really have some skills, worthy of the exorcist. It seems that you can not be underestimated." Not waiting for Shine to react, the snake demon preemptively, her tail thrown at Shine.
Shine dodged with a bend, the snake's tail continuous attack did not work at all, but was cut off by Shine's scimitar. After all, the snake is a demon, although she felt pain, her tail quickly regenerated automatically. The successive humiliations made the snake demon completely furious, "Damned exorcist, taste the power of my germ-eating venom." The snake demon quickly wrapped her body around Shine in a circle, and her head sprayed venom at Shine from above, the greenish-brown venom falling down like sharp needles. "I'm giving you all this germ-eating venom, enjoy it, ha ha ha..."
"Ah!" The snake demon was getting pleased when the corona emanating from Shine's body evaporated the venom. And then she kicked the snake's head, broke free from the tail, crossed her hands horizontally, and flicked a lavender diamond-shaped jade stone from her fingertips into the snake's seven-inch spot. The snake demon struggled in pain, and its huge body shrank at once.
Shine slowly landed, the snake demon then shrunk in fear, while Shine just glanced at her and turned away. The snake demon was surprised that this exorcist didn't beat her back to her original form or even eliminate her demonic nature, but she didn't think much of it, saving her life was important and immediately covered her body and fled.
The snake demon fought to escape for some time and could not hold on any longer, wailed and stopped to rest on a big rock, thinking, "I have to hurry to recover my power, even if I fail, I can't let those guys underestimate me." So she immediately searched the surrounding fresh creatures to replenish her energy.
"What are you looking for?" A voice suddenly came from behind, only to see a blonde-haired teenager clutching his arms and looking at her provocatively.
"Who are you?" The snake demon asked warily, her combat power now weak.
"An exorcist." The teenager said arrogantly.
"Ha, who are you fooling? You're obviously a goblin, a golden retriever, right?" The snake demon saw him at a glance.
"What's wrong with goblins? Can't a goblin be an exorcist? Less insightful! So what if you're a demon, are you capable of fighting me now?" The golden-haired boy showed his sharp fangs and claws.
"You've been following me?" The snake demon was puzzled.
The words just fell, the blond boy pounced, his magic power is not high, but against the snake demon at this time is still more than enough. A few rounds, the snake demon completely lost the battle. The blond boy smiled wistfully and began to cast a spell. The snake demon originally thought he would use the exorcist's charm to beat her back to her original form, but unexpectedly he was sucking the magic out of her.
"You, you are not an exorcist!" The snake demon reacted and said in horror.
Suddenly, a purple light cut off the magic transmission between them.
"Who dares to spoil my good deed?" The blond boy looked around angrily. After seeing the visitor, he said sheepishly, "It's you! What are you doing? We're both exorcists. Why are you blocking me from eradicating the demon?"
Shine saw through him at a glance, "Really? I've never seen an exorcist who subjugates demons like you."
The blond boy was speechless.
Seeing this, the snake demon took the opportunity to cover herself and flee.
"Hey, she got away." The blond boy tried to chase after her, and Shine flung out her scimitar to stop him.
"Hey, ugly girl, aren't you an exorcist? Why don't you eradicate this snake demon." The blond boy questioned.
Shine had her own plans for letting the snake demon go, there was no need to tell this canine goblin who wanted to enhance his magic power by sucking up demons, she warned him seriously, "Remember, if you dare to suck up magic power again, I won't let you go."
"Hmph!" The blond boy haughtily turned his head to the side.
"Also, stop following me, even if I'm defenseless, you can't get near me."
"So you know!" The blond boy was surprised for a moment, then thought, she could easily defeat the snake demon, must be quite capable, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I wasted my efforts last night." He blamed Shine instead.
Shine ignored him, turned around and walked away.
Leaving him in the same place, he shouted in anger, "Ugly girl, don't be arrogant, wait for me."
As if Shine did not hear, her figure quickly disappeared.
