Chapter 5 A night to remember

Our training for today had commenced. I fought with Zack and Kol again, but this time I won.

I used some of the techniques Jake thought me

He taught me to let my opponent attack fast,it leaves them vulnerable,and in most cases they use all of their strength to fight,which is exactly what I did.

Kol lunged at me,attempting to swipe me from under my feet,I jumped landing on his legs before he had the chance to do anything,he got on his feet trying to lunge at me again but I rolled forward slightly,causing him to trip.

I took the opportunity to kick his ribs. He was still recovering from the impact so I used the opportunity to kick the back of his knee,I tackled him, indicating I won.

As I was celebrating which was a bad idea.Zack attacked me,he hit me making blood fill my nose and mouth shit that hurts,I wiped my nose,he came for me again and this time I grab his wrist twisting it,I used the opportunity to also kick his tummy making him lose balance,I had him pinned down but he flipped me over in seconds,but I wasn't done yet

I struggle to flip us back this time I got a hold of his pressure point,he yelped in pain and I took

this to my advantage.I had butted him,I know weird thing to do but it worked because he was left unconscious.

I was sweating profusely out of exhaustion

"Nice work pup,you did well"I heard Jakes voice.I gave him a weak smile

I felt good,because I knew I was getting stronger,I knew I had it in me,I still had my doubts though ,I arrived yesterday and I'm already hearing about a potential war which made me lose balance

Jakes Pov

The recent attacks on the pack left me in a state of disarray. This is one of the worst attacks we've ever faced and I knew who ordered the attack,it was Stan's father,the low life sends rogues to do his dirty jobs,he couldn't face me himself alpha to alpha

Stan on the order hand was doing an amazing job,the kid is a fast learner

At his level I couldn't even take down anyone,but he managed to take down to of our greatest fighter,I wanted to launch an attack

The prophecy had to be fulfilled,Stan would soon take his place as the leader of the Crest kingdom getting rid of his father,I decided to patrol the territory today with the Sentinels I could take chance although we are prepared,we shouldn't have another attack yet

Stan's pov

I can't believe it's another full moon today again,at least this time I have control and my wolf won't go on a killing streak

I had told Sam to go home,because he can't be the only human he disagreed at first but I told him he couldn't be the only human among wolves,the realization hit him and he agreed thankfully

Jake had taught me how to hunt for our prey,you crip on them slowly,not making a sound or funny moves,out of nowhere you then jump and attack,I hated killing deers but it's better than killing someone.

I started preparing for the full moon as we returned home. Some of the pack members were whispering , as if they were making plans. I had to tell Jake, but before I could act, they noticed me. I attempted to fend them off but it was too late,I got stabbed it burnt me I was experiencing an un described pain,my heart beat increased and I couldn't move."Sliver my wolf said"and that was the last thing I heard before losing consciousness

I woke up after a few hours. The pain I had encountered wasn't there anymore,which was weird,I knew I healed fast due to my pain tolerance.I broke the doors they kept me in,I had to go find Jake.

I got out and hell had broke loose,the pack was in shambles,I couldn't warn them we were already under attack,I joined the fight transforming into my wolf form since it was already a full moon

Rogues filled the pack,I could smell them,they smelled bad might I had.

We fought them all off,I hadn't seen Jake anywhere I had to find him.I went to the garden as I approached I had a feeling something bad had happened and I wished I was wrong

I saw Jake's lifeless body. It was too late. Jake was gone. Pain and sadness fell over me. I went closer to his body, and a whimper left my mouth
